A guide to surviving in the world of beasts

Chapter 84 Feeding Pudding to the Tribe Cubs

After sending Su Ling back to the cave, Hu Yi didn't get much rest. Because the tribe had other things to do, he left to get busy.

Su Ling took a branch and drew the layout of their room on the ground.

There must be a kitchen and a bathroom, as well as a living room and three bedrooms. It would be best to have a yard to plant some flowers and plants, and grow some vegetables so that you can eat fresh vegetables every day.

After some revisions, I finally drew a satisfactory outline of a house, a house for two people. Of course, I still have to wait for Hu Yi to come back to see if there is anything else I need to add.

Su Ling looked at the outline of the house, as if she had already moved into it. She sat there fantasizing with a silly smile on her face. However, before she had thought about it for a few minutes, she felt something biting her trouser leg.

Looking down, he saw the little cub Langfeng biting his trouser leg, trying to drag himself somewhere.

Su Ling picked up the little wolf cub, rubbed his chubby body, and softened her tone several degrees, "Little Wolf Feng, why are you here? Where is your mother?"

The little wolf cub in her arms let her ravage him obediently. When Su Ling stopped, he stretched his head and hummed in one direction. Su Ling didn't know what was wrong with him.

I stood up and walked in the direction he was looking at, and in a few steps I reached the kitchen.

"Are you hungry? Why do you come here? Didn't you have lunch?" Su Ling spoke excitedly to the little guy in her arms, regardless of whether the little cub could understand or not.

When the little cub heard Su Ling's words, he turned around and nudged Su Ling's neck. When Su Ling was about to get him food, he kept humming in the direction of the oven.

After thinking about it, Su Ling understood that these little orcs were really smart. They knew what food they liked to eat just a short time after they were born.

The little guy probably wanted Su Ling to make pudding for him in the oven yesterday, so when he saw Su Ling, he wanted her to make pudding for him again.

"You're quite a good eater, do you want some pudding today?"

"Su Ling, ignore him. He is a greedy guy. He just woke up and when I wasn't paying attention, he ran to you and made me worried." Wei came out of the cave and saw her little kid pestering Su Ling for food, so she walked up to him and patted his head.

"It's okay. Since the kid likes to eat it, I'll make some more today. There's still some honey left in the cave. I'll make more later and give some to the kids in the tribe to try." Su Ling smiled and handed the kid to Wei.

"Then let me help you." Wei put the kid on the ground to play by herself.

Seeing how eager she was to try, Su Ling nodded in agreement. Anyway, from observations during this period of time, Su Ling had discovered that although the kid was small, his senses were still very sharp, and he knew not to play with dangerous things.

Su Ling took out all the saved cuckoo eggs. Looking at the half-blue eggs that had been saved, she prepared to cook all the eggs. However, there was not much honey, so they might not be too sweet.

With You Wei's help, Su Ling quickly made the pudding liquid and put it into the oven.

"Wei, you take care of Pudding first. I'll go call the kids over."

Wei nodded, "Okay, go ahead. Don't worry. I saw yesterday what degree it needs to be baked. I'll just watch it and won't ruin the pudding."

Su Ling first went to Hu Ya's home, which was the closest. Before she reached the cave where Hu Ya and his family lived, she saw several little cubs sitting together, writing something on the ground.

"Hu Ya, what are you doing?" Su Ling asked after approaching.

Hearing the voice, several little cubs raised their heads at the same time. When they saw it was Su Ling, they immediately stood up and greeted Su Ling.

Hu Ya answered the question Su Ling had asked just now, "Sister Su Ling, we are writing. Now we don't have to go to the big cave to study anymore, right? We are afraid that we will forget what we have learned over time, so we often make an appointment to review what we have learned together."

When Han Ji was in the big cave, Su Ling taught everyone some basic knowledge. That knowledge was enough for the orcs to use now, so Su Ling temporarily stopped the class.

Su Ling was very pleased to hear that these kids were so serious and would review when they had free time. "Very good, you are all good kids who like to learn. If you don't understand anything, just come and ask me, okay?"

"We will, Sister Su Ling." The cubs all answered.

"Sister Su Ling, what's the matter with you coming here?" Hu Ya asked.

Oh yes, Su Ling almost forgot why she came here. With a smile on her face, she said to the group of little kids, "Seeing that you love to study so much, I have made some new food to reward you. Please go and call the other cubs to the small cave where I live and give you food."

"Ah! Sister Su Ling is the best."

"I like the food made by Sister Su Ling the most."

"Let's go get the others."

……

When they heard Su Ling say that she had made new food, the little cubs' eyes almost lit up. They told Su Ling and ran to call the other little cubs.

"Then I'll go call people too, Sister Su Ling." Huya is worthy of being the largest of the group of cubs. He is always calm and steady in doing things, and not as excited as the other cubs when they hear about food.

"Okay, then you can bring everyone over here later."

Hu Ya nodded, turned around, and ran away leaving an afterimage. Su Ling shook her head helplessly. It seemed that delicious food had a huge temptation for the little cubs.

Su Ling returned to the cave, and soon Hu Ya came with all the cubs in the tribe. However, everyone had something in their hands. They must have heard that Su Ling was going to cook for the cubs, so the parents asked the cubs to bring it as a thank-you gift.

Since they have already brought it, Su Ling will accept their kindness.

After everyone sat down, the pudding was ready to be taken out of the oven. Su Ling and Wei distributed the pudding to the cubs one by one.

"Be careful with the heat. Wait until it cools down a bit before eating." Su Ling reminded the little cubs when she saw that some of them wanted to eat but were worried about the heat.

"Good~"

After hearing Su Ling's reminder, all the little cubs agreed.

When the pudding cooled down a bit, the cubs rushed to eat it, and their expressions were all the same, showing their enjoyment.

A few of the fast eaters finished the pudding in their bowls very quickly, and could only watch the other cubs slowly enjoying the pudding, with regretful looks on their faces.

But he had no intention of asking Su Ling for another bowl. With such delicious food, it would be great to have just one bowl. Why would he ask for more?

Su Ling looked at the little cubs with regretful faces, but there was nothing she could do. There were not many ingredients to begin with, so she only made one bowl for each person.

After all the little cubs had finished eating, they wanted to ask Su Ling to wash the bowls, but Su Ling politely declined. After playing for a while, they went back together.
