Su Ling looked at the crowd. Under the dim sky, Shi Sha waved to her happily. When she noticed that Su Ling saw her, she trotted towards her.

"Sha, are you going to collect today too?" Su Ling asked when she saw someone running towards her. She thought Sha was a collector from another team, but she didn't expect Sha to be in this team.

"Father said yesterday that you would go out with the collection team today, so I wanted to keep you company."

Su Ling felt warm at heart when she heard her say that. Since coming to the tribe, she and Sha were much more familiar with each other than with other females. Su Ling was also very happy to have Sha with her.

The collection team did not rest until noon, when everyone took out their own lunch to eat. They did not go back for lunch.

After lunch, everyone took a short break and then started working again. In the afternoon, Su Ling could only take a short break and then pick some.

But the next day, she still got up and went to work with the collecting team. They collected for five days in a row and did not find any other edible plants. However, she did adapt to the workload of the collecting team.

After lunch at noon, everyone found a shady place to rest for a while. Su Ling was leaning against a big rock, preparing to rest.

Soon a male was seen catching up there and quickly took care of the snake.

The man who fell down the slope was called Ya. He spoke with a crying tone and stuttered, "I, I can't stand up. I wasn't bitten, but one of my legs can't move. What should I do? Am I going to die?"

When Su Ling heard this, she hurried down to see what was going on. Sha and the male who was protecting them also went down.

Su Ling came to her side and saw that she wanted to lift her right leg, but that leg could not move at all. Su Ling stopped her movement and said, "Don't move yet, let me take a look."

When Ya saw Su Ling, he knew that this was a very smart female. Thinking that she should have a way, he stopped moving and said in a trembling voice, "Su Ling, please help me. I don't want to die. I still have a cub to raise."
