Spring, with a hint of mystery, quietly descended on this quiet little village.

The scene at the entrance of the village has been completely renewed. The originally withered trees are now covered with a layer of light green, as if nature has put on a mysterious veil.

In the grass, unknown wild flowers sway gently in the breeze, but seem to hide unknown secrets.

Jiro Watanabe and his friends in the village were playing happily at the entrance of the village. Their laughter echoed in the air, breaking the momentary silence.

However, this carefree joy did not last long.

On the distant horizon, a cloud of dust suddenly rose. The dust grew thicker and closer, as if it was the forerunner of an impending storm.

A team was slowly approaching the village entrance. Their figures were faintly visible in the dust, making it impossible to see their faces and purpose.

Watanabe Jiro's smile gradually faded, and an inexplicable sense of tension surged in his heart. He and his friends stopped what they were doing and stood there blankly, their eyes fixed on the approaching team.

There was a depressing atmosphere in the air, as if an invisible hand was quietly tightening, shrouding the entire village in unknown fear.

As the team got closer, Watanabe Jiro and his friends finally saw their appearance clearly.

There are more than a hundred people in the team, and their uniforms are of different colors, including black, green, and tan!

The leader had a stern expression, his eyes revealing a chilling majesty. Behind him, the soldiers, each holding a weapon, marched in unison and with determination, like a group of well-trained killing machines.

The children's originally cheerful atmosphere disappeared in an instant, and they all ran home in panic!

The team was led by Captain Wang Qun, deputy commander of the Ibaraki Prefecture Security Command. This security command was composed of four infantry companies drawn from the 2nd Brigade of the Haizhou Army and the 5th Division of the Philippine Army!

Among them, there is one company of Haizhou National Army and three companies of Philippine Army!

In addition to a company of Philippine troops led by Wang Qun, there is also a department of the Ibaraki Prefecture Police Department going to the countryside today. The personnel of this police station are mainly composed of police dispatched by the Kaishu Kingdom and some recruited Japanese police!

Wang Qun made a gesture, and the Filipino soldiers and police rushed into the village excitedly!

Soon, nearly a hundred residents of the village were driven out of their homes and gathered in an open space at the village entrance! Watanabe Jiro followed his mother closely, trembling with nervousness in the crowd!

A Japanese policeman stood in front of the residents with a loud speaker in his hand and started shouting loudly,

"Attention all residents! I'm Inoue Heibei from the Ibaraki Prefectural Police Department. Listen carefully! Everyone must move to the settlement designated by the prefectural government. You have one hour to prepare! Go home and pack your things!"

As soon as Inoue Bei finished speaking, the previously subdued and silent crowd erupted. The fear, anger, and resentment that had long been pent up in the villagers' hearts erupted like a volcano.

A sturdy middle-aged villager was the first to yell. His face flushed, the veins on his neck bulged, and he shouted at the top of his lungs: "Why do we have to move away! This is where our ancestors have lived for generations, we are not going anywhere!" His roar was like a horn, instantly igniting the anger of the other villagers.

Then, several young and energetic villagers could no longer hold back and rushed to the police, pushing and shoving them angrily. The police were caught off guard by this sudden resistance and stumbled back.

One of the policemen was pushed to the ground. He was so angry that he quickly pulled out a pistol from his waist, pointed it at the villagers, and shouted, "Stop it! If you don't want to die, behave yourself!"

However, the villagers were so angry that they ignored the police's threats. They continued to push and shove, and the sounds of shouting, shoving, and batons waving mixed together, and the scene fell into chaos.

Wang Qun stood by the road, his face as gloomy as the sky before a storm. He looked at everything in front of him coldly, his eyes revealing a hint of cruelty and disdain. His face suddenly became so gloomy that it seemed like water could drip out. Suddenly, he waved his hand violently and spat out a word viciously: "Kill!"

In an instant, several Filipino soldiers, as ferocious as wolves and tigers, rushed out from the team. They had fierce eyes and the bayonets in their hands flashed coldly in the sunlight.

These soldiers were like a group of vicious beasts released from a cage, rushing straight towards the troublemaking villagers.

One of the young and strong Japanese villagers faced the charging soldiers with wide eyes, roared angrily, and tried to resist with his weak body.

However, a soldier quickly stepped forward and stabbed his bayonet into his chest. The sound of the blade piercing the body was dull and terrifying. The villager stared at the blood gushing from his chest in disbelief, and his body slowly fell to the ground.

Another elderly villager, upon seeing his companion fall, a flicker of fear crossed his eyes, but he quickly clenched his fists, ready to rush forward to avenge his friend. But before he could take a step, another soldier charged from the side and plunged his bayonet into his abdomen. The old man clutched his wound in agony, blood gushing from between his fingers. His legs gave way, and he collapsed to the ground.

Another villager tried to turn and flee in the chaos, but the soldiers wouldn't let him go easily. One soldier quickly chased him and plunged his bayonet into his back. The villager let out a scream and fell forward, struggling on the ground for a few seconds before he fell still.

The surrounding villagers were stunned by the bloody scene. Women covered their mouths in fear, trying not to make a sound, while children burst into tears. The originally noisy scene suddenly became dead silent, with only the painful groans of the injured villagers and the dripping sound of blood on the ground.

Watanabe Yumiko stood in the crowd, her eyes wide open, her face filled with fear and disbelief. Her body trembled uncontrollably, her hands tightly grasping the corners of her clothes, her nails almost digging into her flesh.

She had never seen such a bloody and brutal scene, and her heart was filled with fear and anger, but in front of these wolf-like and ferocious soldiers, she could only watch helplessly.

Wang Qun watched all this indifferently, with the corners of his mouth slightly raised, revealing a satisfied smile.

He said in a cold voice: "This is the fate of those who rebel against the Haizhou Kingdom. If anyone dares to cause trouble again, this will be his example!"
