Rift: Countdown to Doomsday

As the team's strategist, Kane immediately proposed a tactical plan. "We will split into two teams. One team will attack head-on to attract the enemy's attention, and the other team will attack from the flank to rescue the hostages."

Irene gripped her sword tightly and said firmly, "Then Lieyan and I will be responsible for the frontal attack to attract the enemy's attention. Lin Feng, you and Lan Ya will be responsible for the flank assault and rescue the hostages."

"Okay!" Lin Feng patted Irene's shoulder, "Everyone, be careful and try to reduce casualties."

As night fell, Lin Feng and his group quietly approached the bandits' cave. Irene and Lieyan took the lead in attacking, and the battle started instantly. The bandits were caught off guard and fought back.

Lan Ya quickly opened the prison door and helped the villagers untie the ropes. "Hurry, follow us, keep quiet, and don't alert the enemy."

Just as they were about to retreat with the villagers, a figure suddenly appeared at the entrance of the cave. Lin Feng drew his sword alertly and confronted the newcomer.

"Who are you?" The other party was obviously the leader of the bandits, with a fierce light flashing in his eyes.

"We are here to rescue these innocent villagers." Lin Feng replied calmly.

"Just a few of you?" The bandit leader grinned and rushed forward with a knife in hand.

Lin Feng was not afraid and stepped forward. The two fought for several rounds, and Lin Feng quickly gained the upper hand with his agility and superb swordsmanship. He dodged the opponent's attack and knocked the bandit leader's knife down with a backhanded sword.

"You lose." Lin Feng said coldly.

The bandit leader covered his injured arm with an unwilling look in his eyes, but he also knew that he was powerless to save the situation. He glared at Lin Feng angrily and turned to run away.

Lin Feng did not chase after them. He quickly led the villagers out of the cave and joined his companions outside. Irene and Lieyan had dealt with most of the bandits, and the battle was coming to an end.

"Is everyone safe?" Xuewu asked with concern.

Lin Feng nodded, and looked at the villagers who were finally rescued, feeling relieved. "Fortunately, we arrived in time and prevented these innocent people from being hurt again."

The villagers burst into tears of gratitude and came forward to express their gratitude. "Thank you, you are our lifesavers!"

Lin Feng smiled and waved his hand. "This is what we should do. If you encounter difficulties again in the future, you can always come to us."

The villagers nodded and looked at the brave warriors with gratitude. Lin Feng and his companions helped the villagers rebuild their homes and conveyed love and kindness. After this incident, Lin Feng became more determined to protect the weak and help others.

"We have to keep moving forward. There are more people in need of help waiting for us." Lin Feng looked into the distance with a determined light in his eyes.
