Rift: Countdown to Doomsday

In a rare tranquility, the protagonist and his companions were enjoying a short rest. However, this tranquility was soon broken by a sudden enemy attack.

"Enemy attack!" A sentry ran into the camp in a hurry, his face pale and full of fear, "The enemy is rushing towards us!"

"What enemy?" The protagonist stood up quickly and tightened his weapon.

"It's the dark forces. They come fast and fiercely, and there are many of them." The sentry replied, breathing heavily.

The protagonist frowned and quickly organized his thoughts, "Gather everyone immediately and prepare for battle!"

In just a few minutes, the entire camp was in a tense state of combat readiness. The companions were fully equipped and stood beside the protagonist.

"We must defend this place, otherwise all our previous efforts will be in vain." The protagonist said firmly, with determination revealed in his eyes.

"We will definitely hold on!" The female warrior Irene clenched her fists firmly and stood beside the protagonist, her eyes equally determined.

The enemy is approaching quickly, and the air is filled with a tense atmosphere. The protagonist swings the sword in his hand and shouts: "For our future, we must not retreat!"

The battle was about to break out, the enemy poured into the camp, and the warriors fought hard. Irene wielded her spear, quickly shuttling between the enemies, and each strike was accurate and deadly.

"Protect the flanks and don't let the enemy surround us!" The protagonist directed the rhythm of the battle while fighting.

As the battle was raging, a leader of the dark forces appeared on the battlefield. He was extremely powerful and knocked down several warriors with a single blow.

"Leave this guy to me." The protagonist looked at the leader of the dark forces coldly, determined to fight him.

The two men quickly exchanged blows, the collision of swords made a harsh metallic sound, and each clash was accompanied by a powerful energy fluctuation. The battle was extremely fierce, and both sides used all their strength.

"You lowly rebels are destined to be destroyed!" The leader of the dark forces laughed wildly, and the sword in his hand emitted bursts of black light.

"We will not be defeated!" The protagonist roared, and the system power in his body burst out instantly, and a dazzling light appeared on the sword.

The swords of both sides collided again. This time, the leader of the dark forces was knocked back several steps, his face turned gloomy.

"This is impossible!" The leader of the dark forces obviously did not expect the protagonist to be so powerful.

"Nothing is impossible." The protagonist responded coldly and launched another fierce attack.

Under the leadership of the protagonist, the morale of his companions was greatly boosted and they gradually gained the upper hand. The situation on the battlefield began to reverse, and the soldiers of the dark forces fell one by one, gradually losing their will to fight.

"Retreat!" Seeing that the situation was hopeless, the leader of the dark forces roared angrily and gave the order to retreat.

The battle finally ended. Although the protagonist and his companions were exhausted, they all had smiles of victory on their faces.

"We won." Irene breathed a sigh of relief and wiped the sweat from her forehead.

"Yes, but we can't take it lightly. The enemy won't give up easily." The protagonist looked at the enemy going away, with a determined light in his eyes.

"We will continue to grow stronger until no one can threaten our home." Irene clenched her fists, her determination becoming stronger.

"Yes, we will definitely protect this place." The protagonist nodded, his heart filled with strength and hope.

This battle strengthened the faith of the protagonist and his companions. They knew that the road ahead would still be full of challenges, but they would not back down and would face every test and protect everything they cherished.
