Rift: Countdown to Doomsday

As the final blow landed, the enemy leader fell to the ground, bleeding profusely. The protagonist Ling Feng breathed a sigh of relief, but did not let down his guard. He knew that this was just the beginning, and more challenges were waiting for him.

**Ling Feng**: "Is everyone okay?" He turned and looked at his companions, with concern in his voice.

**Xuewu**: "I'm fine." Xuewu wiped the sweat from her forehead with the back of her hand and showed a tired but determined smile.

**Liehyan**: "It was really dangerous this time, but we did it!" Liehyan clenched his fists, with a gleam of victory in his eyes.

**Lan Ya**: "I'm a little injured, but not serious." Lan Ya simply treated her wounds and then walked towards Ling Feng, "What should we do next?"

**Ling Feng**: "We need to clean up the battlefield and make sure no one escapes. Then..." He paused, a trace of contemplation in his eyes, "Then we need to prepare for the next attack."

**Kane**: "Ling Feng is right. Although the battle is over, the enemy may come back at any time." Kane picked up a broken sword from the ground and thrust it into the soil fiercely. "We must always be vigilant."

Ling Feng patted Gray's shoulder and said, "Okay, I'll leave it to you. Everyone, go back to the base and sort out the results of the battle."

On the way back to the base, Ling Feng and Xue Wu walked side by side. Xue Wu looked at Ling Feng and asked, "What do you think will happen next?"

**Ling Feng**: "The enemy will not give up, we must always be prepared to fight. However, I believe that as long as we unite as one, we will be able to overcome any difficulties." Ling Feng answered firmly.

**Xuewu**: "I think so too. As long as you are here, we have hope."

After returning to the base, Ling Feng called everyone to a meeting to discuss the next strategy.

**Ling Feng**: "According to Irene's discovery, there may be the shadow of the Dark Lord behind the enemy. We must find his hiding place as soon as possible and take the initiative to attack."

**Kane**: "I can use the resources of the academy to investigate the origin of this mark, and maybe find some clues."

**Erin**: "I will continue to track the movements of those enemies and try to figure out their next plan."

**Lieyan**: "I am responsible for training soldiers and improving their combat effectiveness."

**Lan Ya**: "I will be responsible for logistics and supplies to ensure that we have enough resources to deal with the upcoming battles."

**Ling Feng**: "Very good, everyone divide the work and make sure to go all out. This battle is not over yet, we can't let down our guard."

After the meeting, Ling Feng came to the high tower of the base alone, looking at the sky in the distance, with a lot of thoughts in his mind. He knew that the road ahead was still full of thorns, but he was determined to lead everyone to meet every challenge with strong will and firm belief.

**Ling Feng** (reciting silently in his heart): "No matter how difficult the road ahead is, I will persevere to the end and protect everything I cherish."
