Rift: Countdown to Doomsday

Ling Feng stood at the entrance of the forbidden area and took a deep breath, with his companions behind him. The forbidden area was full of unknown dangers and secrets, but this was the only way to break through the enemy's defenses.

"Is everyone ready?" Ling Feng turned around and looked at everyone with a firm gaze.

Xuewu nodded and tightened her grip on the staff in her hand. "We can set off at any time."

Lieyan and Lan Ya looked at each other, and Lieyan smiled and said, "Come on, Brother Feng. We are ready."

Kane stood aside, silent, but his eyes revealed firm determination.

Irene patted Ling Feng's shoulder gently and said, "Don't worry, we will face it together."

"Okay," Ling Feng said firmly, "Let's go."

After entering the forbidden area, the surrounding environment immediately became eerie, with withered trees and a strange atmosphere in the air. Ancient ruins and unsolved runes were scattered on the ground.

"Something feels wrong here." Lan Ya whispered, her hand involuntarily clenching the dagger.

"Everyone, be careful." Kane looked around vigilantly, "There may be a trap here."

After walking for a while, they came to a huge stone gate with complex runes carved on it, as if warning of something.

"What is this?" Irene asked curiously.

"This is an ancient seal." Xuewu observed it carefully for a while, "We must unlock these runes before we can move on."

Lieyan nodded, "Let me try." He walked to the stone door, his hands began to emit a faint red light, and he slowly touched the runes.

Suddenly, the stone door made a low roar and slowly opened a narrow passage.

"Hurry, go in!" Ling Feng gave an order, and everyone quickly passed through the stone door and entered the passage.

The passage was dark and narrow, and the walls were covered with strange murals that seemed to be telling an ancient story.

"These murals seem to describe some kind of ritual." Kane observed the murals carefully. "Perhaps there are some important clues hidden here."

Just as they were trying to decipher the murals, a low roar suddenly came from the depths of the passage, and then several huge and terrifying monsters appeared in front of them.

"Get ready for battle!" Ling Feng drew his sword and rushed towards the monster.

The battle was fierce and fast. Ling Feng and his partners cooperated well and finally defeated all the monsters.

"What are these monsters guarding?" Xuewu asked, panting.

"It may be a deeper secret." Ling Feng looked towards the end of the passage, "We must keep moving forward."

Walking out of the passage, they entered a spacious underground hall. In the center was a huge altar, on which was placed a gem that sparkled with blue light.

"What is that?" Lan Ya asked in surprise.

"That's an energy gem," Kane explained, "It contains great power, but it could also be the key to the enemy."

"We must get it." Ling Feng walked towards the altar, but the moment he reached out to touch the gem, the altar suddenly emitted a dazzling light and the entire hall began to shake violently.

"Oh no! This place is going to collapse!" Lieyan shouted.

"Run!" Irene pulled Ling Feng's hand and everyone evacuated quickly.

At the last moment, they managed to escape the forbidden area and stood in the open space outside the entrance, gasping for breath.

"Although we failed to get the gem, we know its location." Ling Feng looked into the distance, "Next time, we must succeed."

"Yes, we will definitely find a way to break through the enemy." Xuewu said with a smile.

"Let's go, let's go back and prepare." Kane patted Ling Feng's shoulder, "The road ahead is still long, but we won't give up."

Ling Feng nodded and looked at his companions, "Let's meet the challenges of the future together."
