Chapter 283: The Road to Light

As night fell, the haze thickened, and the entire camp was shrouded in an invisible atmosphere of oppression. Ling Feng and his companions were sitting around the campfire, discussing the next action plan.

"We must act as soon as possible. We can't delay any longer." Xuewu said firmly, with a determined light flashing in her eyes.

Lieyan nodded and agreed, "Yes, the enemy's strength is growing. If we don't take action in time, the consequences will be disastrous."

Ling Feng looked at them, took a deep breath, and said, "Everyone knows that this operation is extremely risky. We are facing an unprecedentedly powerful enemy. Everyone must prepare for the worst."

Lan Ya patted Ling Feng's shoulder gently and said with a smile: "When did you become so sentimental? We have experienced so many life and death situations together, and we are fine now, aren't we?"

Kane responded, "Understood, leave it to me."

Next, Ling Feng looked at Ailin and Xuewu: "You are responsible for organizing the assault team. Once you detect the enemy's weakness, launch an attack immediately."

Xuewu and Irene nodded at the same time: "Understood!"

After arranging everything, Ling Feng stood up and looked around with a determined look: "Everyone, get ready. Tonight we are going to let the enemy see what true strength is."

Everyone dispersed and prepared for their own tasks. Ling Feng walked out of the camp alone, looking up at the starry sky, with a lot of thoughts in his mind. The past scenes flashed through his mind, every life-and-death moment, every persistence in desperate situations, reminding him that he must not relax even a little.

"Ling Feng." A gentle voice interrupted his thoughts. Ling Feng turned around and saw Xue Wu standing behind him with a worried look on her face.

"What's wrong, Xuewu?" Ling Feng asked.

"You've been daydreaming alone lately. Are you worried about something?" Xuewu asked with concern.

Ling Feng smiled slightly: "Nothing, just thinking about what to do next."

Xuewu walked up to him and said softly, "We all believe in you. No matter what difficulties you encounter, you are not alone."

Ling Feng nodded: "Thank you, Xuewu. With you around, I have the confidence to keep going."

Xuewu looked into his eyes and said firmly: "Then let's go on together, no matter how many storms there are ahead."

Ling Feng held her hand, feeling the warmth in her palm, and felt at ease. He knew that with these companions, he would be able to overcome all difficulties and find the bright road.

As the night deepened, the camp was quiet, but everyone's heart was burning with fighting spirit. They knew that tomorrow would be a battle that would determine their fate, and they would definitely be the victorious side.

At dawn, Ling Feng led the raiding team to quietly set out. After a night of rest, everyone was full of energy and high morale. Lie Yan and Lan Ya were responsible for the front reconnaissance, and they approached the enemy camp cautiously.

"Ling Feng, an enemy patrol was spotted ahead." Lie Yan reported in a low voice.

Ling Feng nodded slightly: "Everyone stay alert and try to avoid their sight."

Following Ling Feng's order, the team moved quickly, avoiding the enemy patrols and approaching the enemy camp quietly.

"Look, that's the enemy's camp over there." Lan Ya said, pointing to a place not far away.

Ling Feng's eyes narrowed: "It's right there. We must launch a surprise attack before the enemy can react. We must succeed in one strike."

"Understood!" everyone responded in unison.

Under Ling Feng's command, the raiding team quickly dispersed and formed an encirclement. With an order, everyone rushed towards the enemy camp like an arrow from a bow.

"Enemy attack! Enemies!" The enemy's warnings came one after another, but it was too late. Ling Feng and his companions were like lightning, quickly passing through the enemy's defense line and rushing straight to the enemy's core.

"Kill!" Ling Feng shouted, waving his weapon and engaging in a fierce battle with the enemy. Each of his attacks was as powerful as thunder, knocking the enemies to the ground one by one.

"Lingfeng, be careful!" Xuewu shouted, waving her sword to block the enemy attacking from behind.

Ling Feng nodded in thanks and continued to charge forward. Their bravery was so fierce that the enemy could not resist at all and was soon beaten back.

After a fierce battle, Ling Feng and his companions finally defeated the enemy and regained control of the camp. Everyone cheered and the joy of victory was on everyone's face.

"We succeeded!" Lieyan said excitedly.

"Yes, we succeeded." Ling Feng wiped the sweat from his forehead and said with a smile, "But this is just the beginning. We still have more difficult tasks waiting for us."

Xuewu looked at Lingfeng, her eyes full of admiration and trust: "No matter what difficulties you encounter, we will face them together with you."
