Rift: Countdown to Doomsday

In the new morning light, Ling Feng and his companions set out on a journey to explore new territory. The sun shines on the earth, illuminating the unknown road ahead. They pass through a dense forest, where bursts of birdsong can be heard and the air is filled with a fresh scent.

They continued to move forward, and suddenly heard a strange sound coming from the front. Ling Feng quickly raised his hand to signal everyone to stop, and everyone immediately went on alert.

"What's that sound?" Lan Ya asked in a low voice.

Kane frowned and said, "It sounds like the cry of some creature. We have to be careful."

They approached the source of the sound cautiously and found an ancient ruin in front of them. The entrance of the ruins was covered with vines, and it was obvious that no one had set foot in it for a long time.

“It looks like we’ve discovered an ancient ruin,” Irene said. “Perhaps it holds the answers we need.”

Ling Feng nodded in agreement and led everyone into the ruins. The light inside the ruins was dim, and the air was filled with an old smell. The walls were engraved with ancient runes, which seemed to be telling some ancient legend.

"These runes look like some kind of ancient language," Gray walked to the wall and took a closer look, "We need to decipher them to understand the secrets here."

Just as they were concentrating on studying the runes, a black shadow suddenly flashed by, and then a group of monsters jumped out from the darkness. Ling Feng quickly drew his sword and fought with his companions.

"Everyone be careful!" Ling Feng shouted, "These monsters look ferocious."

The battle was fierce. Ling Feng and Xue Wu fought side by side, wielding their weapons to resist the monsters' attacks. Lie Yan and Lan Ya supported them from the side, using magic and arrows to suppress the enemies. Irene and Cain provided treatment and buffs in the back to ensure the team's combat effectiveness.

After a fierce battle, the monster was finally defeated by them, and the ruins returned to peace. Everyone was panting and exhausted, but everyone had a smile of victory on their face.

"Well done, everyone!" Ling Feng praised, "We succeeded."

Xuewu wiped the sweat from her forehead and said with a smile: "Although these monsters are powerful, we are stronger."

The man smiled slightly and slowly took off his cloak, revealing a familiar face. It was the mysterious man who had helped them before, and his appearance always brought key clues and information.

"Don't be nervous, it's me," the mysterious man said, "I'm here to bring you some important information."

Ling Feng relaxed a little, but still remained alert, "What news do you have?"

After saying that, the mysterious man turned and left, disappearing into the darkness. Ling Feng looked at his back and silently decided in his heart that he must lead his companions to overcome all difficulties, unlock the secrets of the ruins, and protect world peace.
