The rumbling of wheels resumed, and inside the carriage with the curtains lowered, Madam Tang breathed a sigh of relief, patting her chest and exclaiming to her personal maid, "Looks like we'll get through this smoothly."

No sooner had he finished speaking than a unified shout was heard.

"Greetings, Eighth Prince."

Immediately following was a deep command: "Stop the Tang family's carriage."

Upon receiving the order, the officers and soldiers immediately rushed forward and forcibly stopped the carriage, which had only traveled ten steps.
