Wanbao Lady

Chapter 491 Final Thoughts

Ahhhhh – finally finished writing a million-dollar book!

It's really rare!

This is my first signed book, and also my first million-dollar novel. I worked diligently every day for 8 months, and finally, it’s finished!!!

Sprinkle flowers~

Although there were no recommendations and no traffic in the next three months, and I barely made enough money to buy groceries every day, I managed to finish the book, and it was worthy of all my hard work and the support of my readers. Thank you all very much!

I know this novel has many shortcomings, such as some problems with the rhythm of the plot and some details that have not been considered in advance, but I still want to thank the readers for their tolerance.

To be honest, I didn’t realize it when I read novels before, but now that I’m writing it myself, I realize it’s not an easy task.

Plot, characters, maps, logic, lines, consistency...there are so many things to consider.

Sometimes it takes me a long time just to come up with a reasonable and logical plot, and a small detail can take me days to get stuck on. It can be said that it takes a lot of effort.

Because of this, I even developed cervical spondylosis and had to have acupuncture given by an old Chinese doctor for several days (laughs). It was not easy, really not easy.

When I had just reached a million words, my mother hoped that I would finish it sooner every day. I said no, because I had not yet completed the last map, and I had not yet given an ending to the people living in that area, and then... and then I have continued writing until today.

While writing this book, I kept thinking about what the main theme of the book was. Was it just for fun?

But as I wrote, I gradually realized that, in fact, I had that tendency unconsciously between the lines.

That is, saving people and maintaining balance.

The protagonist will use her treasure to convert each character. Whether it is patient guidance or ruthless killing, perhaps in my heart, it is all about saving people.

As for balance... I think everyone can see that the protagonist is not a racist supremacist. In his heart, all intelligent creatures are equal.

The only difference is whether it is for good or evil.

As long as they are willing to change, she is willing to give them a chance, so as to achieve perfection and create a balance between races.

The most typical one is the part about Numa, the ghost king.

It was this plot that got me stuck for a long time.

Objectively speaking, he was disrespectful to the protagonist. If he were in the hands of other swift and decisive characters, he would have been defeated long ago.

I even considered for a while whether to destroy him or let him go.

But when I put myself in the protagonist's shoes, I would wonder, if he died, what would happen to the country below? Would the protagonist have the heart to let the people suffer even more?

Even those people were not familiar with her.

Then I came to my senses. If I can't be the King of Ghosts, I can still be the King of Hell! As long as the protagonist knocks and restrains him at the right time, who says that Xisha Kingdom can't have another wise ruler (working ghost)?

Looking back to the time when I was in the sixth grade of elementary school, there was a trend of writing novels in school. Everyone passed the novels around and urged each other to update. At that time, I made a bold statement that I must write a million-word novel of my own in the future!

Unexpectedly, it took more than ten years for this wish to be fulfilled.

What’s so coincidental is that today is the ninth day of the twelfth lunar month, my birthday according to the lunar calendar. This is like chocolate opening the door to chocolate - what a coincidence!

When I first wrote it, I never thought it would end today. I even wondered if this was God's arrangement.

But it can be considered as a birthday present I gave to myself!

Finally, as the New Year 2025 is approaching, I would like to wish you all a happy new year in advance!

Good luck!
