Traveling through the 1970s

On the day before August 15th, as soon as Han Yunzheng got off work, he rode the bicycle given by Lu Jianguo and took his sister home.

The village was already in the autumn harvest, and when the brother and sister returned to the village, the villagers were just distributing the meat.

When I got home, Xu Yuemei was cleaning the chickens in the yard.

When he saw his little daughter and second son coming back, he happily put down the half-finished chicken, washed his hands and went to greet them.

"They moved away. The educated youth camp built single-room dormitories, so they moved back." Xu Yuemei said as she pulled her little girl into the house.

The most surprised person was Han Yunya, she knew her sister's feelings for Cheng Jinhan, and her sister actually agreed to let them move back. But thinking about the single dormitory built in the youth education center, they really had no reason to continue living in their own home.

Han Yunzheng put the net bag on the table. When Xu Yuemei saw what her son brought back, she was really surprised.

There were five packs of mooncakes, which means five kilograms of mooncakes. It had been a long time since I had seen so many mooncakes.

After a pause, he glanced at his son, then pulled his daughter to ask, "Xiaoxiao, you're not tired from doing this, are you?"

"Mom, it's okay. I feel much better these days. I feel more relaxed than ever before."

Han Yunya said with a happy smile, and even turned around on the spot in order to make her mother believe what she said.

"Really? That's great. Go back to your room and rest for a while. Your sister and the others will be back soon. We can stew chicken for dinner."

Xu Yuemei happily put the things into the cupboard and happily prepared to go out to continue packing the chickens.

"Mom, let me do it!" Han Yunzheng said and went out.

I went back to the house and changed my clothes. Then I sat where my mother had just sat and started to clean the chicken.

Han Yunya put her backpack back into the room. In the bag were the holiday gifts prepared for Grandpa Yan and the others. She would deliver them over at night when no one was around.

Soon, the sister-in-law and Han Yunyao came back and saw Han Yunya waiting at the door with a smile on her face.

"Xiaoxiao, you're back." Zhou Yan was the first to see Xiaoxiao and asked happily.

"Xiaoxiao, why did you come back so soon?" Han Yunyao asked.

If calculated by normal time, they would not come back so soon, unless they came back on bicycles.

"This is the bicycle that Brother Lu San sent me." Han Yunya said this, but her eyes were looking at Zhou Yan.

I said in my heart: Mom, Dad, my daughter is pregnant and is going to be a mother.

"Don't cry, Yan Zi, this is a good thing. Yun Yang will help your wife go back to the house to rest." Xu Yuemei smiled, she was going to be a grandmother.

Zhou Yan felt warm at the sight of her happy mother-in-law. Since marrying into the Han family, she seemed to have returned to the old days, with her mother nagging and pampering her, her husband pampering and loving her, and her sister-in-law treating her like a sister.

My parents-in-law even asked me to send food to my parents.

Xu Yuemei happily went to stew the chicken, and did not forget to take the meat from Han Yunzheng's hand.

Because Zhou Yan was pregnant, the Han family was very happy, and in the evening there were two big chicken legs in Zhou Yan's bowl.
