HP Peter Can't Be That Cute

Chapter 57 Going Home

For Peter and the others, this was not the first time they came to James's house, but it was Alayah's first time. In her impression, the Potter family should be very big and luxurious, after all, they made so much money from the shampoo potion.

But when you actually step in, you find that this is an ordinary and cozy small western-style building, no different from the small Muggle houses outside, but like the Burrow in the original book, it is full of the magic of love and the breath of life.

What catches the eye is an entire wall of photos, on which hang portraits of successive members of the Potter family. It seems that they have always been a wealthy and prestigious family, but their personalities all seem to be a little "outstanding". Some of them deliberately dress up as scarecrows, there are men and women dressed in luxurious dresses, and some are riding lions.

But by far the most numerous photos and portraits on the wall are still of James Potter, from the moment he was born to the time he took his first steps, to the time he rode a broomstick across a pit, or to the time he knocked over a champagne tower at a family dinner. There are even photos of the four of them participating in activities at school, which should be their first Quidditch match. The four of them were hugging each other tightly, looking very youthful.

But the most embarrassing one was the one of James bathing naked. Because it was all dynamic, Alayya saw very clearly how two-year-old James farted in the bath and scared himself to tears.

James seemed to have noticed this as well. He rushed up the stairs, took down the painting and hid it in his arms. With an embarrassed look on his face, he explained to everyone who was trying not to laugh, "This... is nothing to see." He turned around and shouted upstairs, "Mom! I told you not to hang this painting up!"

The couple upstairs heard the noise and rushed out quickly. They were dressed in silk pajamas. They looked like a well-maintained middle-aged man and woman. When they saw James, they were so happy that they came up to him. Especially the kind mother, she held James' head in her arms and cried, "I'm so glad you're okay, James~"

Although James claimed to be a man, at this moment, he was still moved by Mrs. Potter and his eyes were wet. He said awkwardly, "My friends are here!"

"Oh, yes, yes, and your little friends~" Mrs. Potter raised her head from James' shoulder and saw the rosy-lipped and white-toothed Alaiya. She instantly forgot the sweetheart in her arms and pushed James aside. "James, you brought your girlfriend back?!" She excitedly gave Alaiya a warm hug, and Alaiya was almost suffocated to death.

"Hello, Mrs. Potter, it's me...Peter..."

"That's right! He's Peter, ma'am!" Sirius was a little flustered as he explained to Alaia, why did she mistake Peter for a girl? !

"Peter?" Mrs. Potter took Alayya's little face and took a closer look. It did look a bit like Peter, but she still didn't give up. "Is it really you?!"

"Don't scare the child..." Mr. Potter, who looked gentle and taciturn, finally spoke up, dissuading and pulling his wife away. He wore a pair of gold-rimmed glasses and looked very elegant. "Welcome home~ I'll prepare something for you to eat, you must be starving~"

No one expected that James's parents did not blame them for "running away from home" at all. Instead, they praised them for successfully arriving at the desert market. Mrs. Potter even said with some regret, "You should have woken us up, so we could go together."

"Then it's not an adventure, Mom!" James took precautions in advance so that he would not have to worry about his parents in future adventures.

"Of course, my little warriors~ Mom and Dad are proud of you!"

"Mom!" James was once again embarrassed by Mrs. Potter's doting words, but everyone looked at him with envy.

The Potters easily accepted Sirius as a member of their family, and said that if Peter Lupin and the others wanted, they could always treat this place as their home.

Alaia still remembered Peter's "old mother". She couldn't let her be alone, so she didn't mention it again after thanking him. Mrs. Potter looked a little regretful, as if she was saying it was a pity that Peter was a boy. It would be better if he married James from their family. What a pretty and well-behaved girl~

If Alaia knew what Mrs. Potter was thinking, she would definitely comfort her, "Don't worry, James's future daughter-in-law is also a famous beauty!"

Everyone knows James's little thoughts, but he is the only one who thinks he has hidden them well.

So when James took his brothers, who had eaten and drunk their fill, back to their room to rest, as soon as he opened the door, a sketch flew in front of his face, interrupting his endless speech.

"Wait...this is..."

"(⊙o⊙)Wow!" Alayya and several others were stunned to see the paintings scattered all over the floor in James' room. In each painting there was a smiling red-haired girl, some were standing, some were sitting, and some were reading.

It seemed that James forgot to close the window when he and Sirius left through the window that night, and the wind blew the paintings in his album everywhere.

At this moment, James was like a cat whose tail was stepped on. He jumped up and down to pick up the portraits on the ground. At first, he tried to explain, "I was just drawing to practice... This is not what you think!"

"Don't look at it!" After picking up a few photos, James gave up and sat back on the bed in frustration, lowering his hands helplessly. "Okay, it's just what you see... You can laugh at me as much as you want..."

James, who was ready to die, closed his eyes and fell on the bed with a thud.

"Why should we laugh at you? James, we will definitely help you!" Sirius seemed particularly happy when he confirmed that James had someone he liked. Finally, he didn't like his brother, which made him worry in vain.

Because James seemed to pay too much attention to Peter recently, he thought he would be like Remus to Peter... But now it seems, great, James is normal!

She wished she could take James to Lily Evans right now to confess her feelings for Sirius, and she sat next to James to encourage him.

Lupin obediently helped James pick up all the paintings and put them back where they should be. "You draw very well, James. Can you teach me next time?"

"Really?! Do you really think my drawing is good?" James' eyes lit up instantly and he sat up straight, looking at Lupin expectantly. "Of course, it's very lifelike..."

"Do you think she will like it?" James asked nervously. Lupin was not sure if his answer would convince James, so he turned to ask Peter, "I think Evans will like it. What do you think, Peter?"

At that moment, Sirius couldn't help but frown again, "Peter, what are you doing again?" He didn't want his brothers to fall apart because of the special feelings they had. He had talked to Remus about it, but he still...
