HP Peter Can't Be That Cute

Newt's home is near a big forest with a quiet lake nearby. Like the Burrow in the original book, it has its own vegetable garden, but it's not goblins running outside but various magical creatures. It's very interesting to watch from the carriage. Some of them are the size of elk, and some are only the size of a palm. Fortunately, James has good dynamic vision, otherwise none of them would have noticed that there was an elf flying there.

Alaya was squeezed between the windows by Sirius and James, with Lupin behind her, who was resting his feet on her shoulders. She was almost squeezed to death by the boys. Just now, when they were sitting there, there was such a spacious space, but Sirius insisted on sharing a seat with her. Was it just to "squeeze her"?

Anyway, Alayya shook them off and retreated. While the others were still enthusiastically greeting the magical creatures, she quietly pulled Newt's sleeve and said, "Um, can I have a room of my own?"

Newt was so pleading when Alaia looked at him. He was like a bitter persimmon. "I--that--" he was speechless. Alaia thought it was a difficult request. Maybe Newt's family was poor and didn't have so many rooms? She was just being willful. "It's okay. I just said it casually. Don't take it to heart."

Of course Newt knew what Peter was worried about, and he was willing to help her find a separate room, but all the rooms in the house were filled with magical creatures. Perhaps, she wouldn't mind living in her own box?

Alaia ignored the changes on Newt's face because she saw Buck was waiting for them below, and James was already approaching it with maximum mobility.

"That's so cool! Buck, good buddy, can I ride you for a ride? Ah..." James's movements were so fast that before Mrs. Scamander could warn him, James was knocked out by the eagle-winged beast. Fortunately, Sirius caught him and the two fell into a ball.

"Are you okay?" Lupin hurried forward to help them. Alaia gave a wicked smile, but was caught by Sirius the next second. "What are you still standing there for, Peter? Come and help me!"

"I got it..." Alayya jumped off the carriage, put away her gloating expression, and tried to pull Sirius, but he deliberately played tricks on her and made her fall on him.

"Hey!" Alaia fell on Sirius's broad shoulders and narrow waist, with her hands on James' shoulders. Why did they get more and more chaotic? James at the bottom yelled, "Peter, what are you doing stupid again? Get up from us!"

Lupin had to give up pulling James out and turned to help Alaia. Alaia was really innocent, what did it have to do with her?! It was obviously Sirius who pulled her down.

"It's Sirius...mmmm..." Sirius stuffed a piece of chocolate into Alayya's mouth. It was so sweet. Where did he get it from?

"I know, I know..." Sirius scratched his ears nonchalantly and pushed Alaia up. It was just a joke. James was really something. Didn't he know what Peter was like?

Newt also came over to introduce them to the taboos of getting along with eagle beasts and winged beasts, such as having to bow to show respect. Last time it was because of an emergency, but this time if you want to be friends with Buck, you must go through this bow.

"Understood, I'll go first!" James bowed deeply to Buck eagerly, but because of his recklessness just now, he lost Buck's trust in him, so he did not get a response from Buck.

Buck turned his head and went in another direction away from James, which made James jump in anger. "Damn it, I bowed~ Let me try again, I know I made a mistake just now!"

Sirius followed suit and tried it, but Buck was still very cautious. James was not giving up and pushed Peter out to try again. He felt that if he couldn't do it, Peter certainly couldn't do it either. How could Peter, who was so timid, control such a powerful magical creature?

If everyone fails, then you won't care about your own failure, right?

Sirius and James Lupin both stared at Alaia. Alaia was also very nervous. She took small steps to move in front of Buck. She always had the illusion that Buck liked her very much. At least now it no longer dodged, but just stood there staring at her quietly.

"Don't be afraid, Peter. Buck is very docile. I will protect you!" Newt stood aside with his arms open, as if ready to catch Peter at any time like Sirius just now.

"I... OK... I'm not afraid..." Alayya calmed down. How could she be afraid? She was a person who loved animals very much, and these magical creatures would never scare her.

Alayya bowed to Buck gracefully and respectfully. Maybe it was because of her clean magnetic field or because she was a girl, but Buck also bowed back to her very friendly.

He took the initiative to approach Alaiya and rubbed his head against her face. Alaiya was very excited that she was recognized by the eagle beast and kept stroking Buck's back hair and his jaw.

Little did he know that his warm side had stunned some people. Newt even forgot to retract his open arms and just stared at them. It turned out that there were people who could treat magical creatures more gently than his mother.

Sirius and Lupin were also slightly stunned. They didn't expect that Peter could actually do it. He seemed to exude an indescribable charm all over his body.

Even Theseus Scamander couldn't help but take a few more glances and diverted his attention from the book. Mrs. Scamander looked at Buck and Peter with great fondness. She liked these new friends of her son even more and was very happy to have them as friends.

But James was not among those who were moved. James only saw that Peter succeeded and he failed! So he eagerly asked Peter to take him to ride the eagle to guard the winged beast.

"Peter, then take me for a walk. I'll lend you my broom when we get back!" Pulling at Peter's collar, James scratched his ears and cheeks anxiously.

"no!"

"No!" Sirius and Newt stopped him in unison. Newt looked at him and instantly lost his temper. "You go first~" He pulled his sleeves.

"Do you believe in Peter's skills? Besides, if Buck still doesn't accept you, you will both fall." Sirius disagreed. This was the first time he rejected James so bluntly. In the past, he always supported him.

"O" James opened and closed his mouth several times, his momentum weakened, and he calmed down and thought about the problem. He was just a little disappointed that he didn't get any help from his old friend. He looked at Lupin for support, but -

"James, Sirius makes sense. Why don't we get in touch with Buck slowly?" Lupin tidied his clothes for him. James went to the backyard in a huff and was not called out by others until after dinner.

The friendship between boys is so strange. They soon made up because of a few stinky farts that Sniff let out at the dinner table.

Alaia was speechless, but she still liked to see them united. It would be better if James didn't always deliberately step on her feet under the table. What a childish boy.
