Good luck every time

Li Ruyi invited the person in. When the blacksmith entered, he looked at the yard with some emotion.

"Uncle Chen's family are all very nice. When I was a kid, I often came here to play with Brother Qing. It's just a pity that they have bad luck."

When Li Ruyi heard his emotion, she also wanted to get some information, so she asked.

"Oh? I see this yard is quite big, and they don't look like a poor family. Why didn't they find a wife for their son?"

After hearing this, the young blacksmith sighed again.

asked the blacksmith.

"Where are these things?"

The blacksmith came in carrying a pile of boxes and was startled as he entered.

In the room, Xiaoman was leaning on a broom and looking at how to clean the beams. She had been looking for a while.

“Just put it here!”

The blacksmith's attention was drawn back and he finally came to his senses. When he put down the things, he looked at Xiaoman with an inquiring look.

After putting down the things, Li Ruyi sent the blacksmith out the door. As he walked out, he looked into the house.

"Miss Li, we will be neighbors from now on. If you need any help, you can come to the blacksmith shop to find me."

Li Ruyi smiled and nodded, not being polite at all.

"Thank you. We are new here, so we have to trouble you. Today our house is messy and it is not convenient. We will invite you to come again when we have cleaned it up."

The blacksmith nodded and wanted to leave, but hesitated. He took a step forward, then thought it might be okay to talk, so he stepped back.

"Miss Li, was that your brother just now?"

Li Ruyi nodded.

"Yes, we are from the same mother!"

The blacksmith's eyes changed a lot when he looked at her.

"It is true that heroes emerge young! Your brother has such skills. What are your plans for the future?"

Li Ruyi looked at the blacksmith, wondering what the meaning of his words was!

"She is still young. I just brought her with me to broaden her horizons. As for her future, it is still a long way off. I don't have any plans."

The blacksmith nodded without saying anything, pushed the empty cart and nodded goodbye to Li Ruyi.

Li Ruyi also smiled at him.

Watching the blacksmith's back as he walked away, Li Ruyi understood what he meant after a moment's thought.

If he didn't think Xiaoman's martial arts were good enough that he wanted to help her find a job, then he was subtly reminding Li Ruyi not to be greedy and reckless and assign a job to Xiaoman casually!

Li Ruyi smiled, returned to the courtyard and closed the door.

She turned around and wanted to go back to her room to clean it with Xiaoman when she suddenly heard a noise coming from the courtyard wall.

She looked up and saw a hand climbing the wall between the two houses next door. Soon, a head popped out from the top of the wall.

He was a young man of about sixteen or seventeen years old, fair-skinned and with eyes full of curiosity. He glanced towards the yard, and when he saw the gate, his eyes met Li Ruyi who was looking at him.

The young man panicked, his hand slipped, and he fell down with a cry of "Ouch".

He scratched at the wall with both hands, and when he was about to grab it, Li Ruyi helped him. She took out a stone, swung it and hit it. The stone drew an arc in the air and hit the boy on the forehead accurately.

"Ah! My head!"

Immediately afterwards, there was a crackling sound, and the young man fell directly back home!
