When the Japanese troops in Jiaozuo and Kaifeng concentrated their forces to deal with the soldiers of the Jidong Independent Brigade, they fled again.

The soldiers of the Jidong Independent Brigade alternately attacked and retreated, providing strong support to the Anyang defenders in holding the city walls.

It was past eight o'clock in the evening when the exhausted group finally arrived at the outskirts of Anyang from the outskirts of Luoyang.

The 3rd and 4th Regiments of the 1st Brigade set up an ambush along the banks of the Qi River in Fudao Town.

Fudao Town is the "hometown of Yue Fei" and a stronghold on the north side of Tangyin Station of Pinghan Railway. The terrain is slightly higher and there are many orchards and vegetable fields. By building a "bunker group", the railway and highway from Tangyin to Anyang in the north of the Japanese army can be blocked.

After the plan was issued, the soldiers of the first brigade immediately rushed to the ambush site and set up an ambush despite being tired from the long journey.

The soldiers of the Yidong Independent Brigade also arrived at the preset positions, preparing to launch an attack on the Japanese army tomorrow.
