Devil's Army

Chapter 1529: Occupation of the Japanese Army Unit 731 Base

The soldiers then broke the locks of the cells and let most of the Japanese prisoners go.

The prisoners in the cell knew the cruelty of the Japanese army and their fate. They never expected to be rescued. Many of them burst into tears of joy.

Some prisoners of the Eighth Route Army and Nanjing government forces immediately asked to join the battle and kill the devils.

The regimental commander agreed and asked them to help clean up the battlefield, take the Japanese weapons and garrison the Japanese Army's Unit 731 base together with the soldiers of the first company of the third battalion.

But one man was very emotional. He told the captain and his men the tragic scene that happened to him:

The two brothers were both soldiers of the Nanjing government army. They were both captured in a battle and then escorted here by the Japanese army.

Just the day before yesterday, the Japanese army took the two brothers into a house, tied the younger brother to an operating table, cut open his stomach, and removed his organs one by one, soaking them in some glass bottles nearby.

He was forced by the Japanese army to watch his brother screaming at the top of his lungs.

His brother eventually died in extreme pain, while these murderous devils were laughing beside him.

The regimental commander was also very angry when he heard this, but they lacked training and would just be giving their heads to the Japanese if they went to the battlefield.

Someone saw the 16 Japanese prisoners tied up and shouted:

"Kill these beasts! ..."

The captain turned his face away deliberately.

The man grabbed the machine gun from a nearby soldier, walked in front of the Japanese prisoners, and fired a whole magazine of bullets with "da da da..."

Sixteen Japanese prisoners fell in a pool of blood amid gunfire.

"Alright, you will be assigned to the Third Battalion Reserve and defend the Japanese Army's Unit 731 base with the First Company. The rest of the troops will continue to pursue the Japanese with me."

When part of the 3rd Battalion and the 4th Battalion pursued the Japanese troops to another entrance of Nangang Commercial Street, the 1st and 2nd Battalions were still engaged in a tug-of-war with the Japanese troops on Nangang Commercial Street.

Soldiers from the third and fourth battalions immediately launched a fierce attack on the Japanese army from another entrance.

The Japanese army was unable to withstand the pincer attack from four battalions of a regiment from both sides and continued to retreat deep into Harbin.

A group of soldiers then completely occupied Nangang Commercial Street.

After searching, a regimental commander discovered that the Japanese military trading company on Nangang Commercial Street had stored a large amount of winter cotton clothing and other supplies.

The trading company owner said in broken Chinese: "We are honest merchants. You can't take our goods away from us."

"Cotton-padded clothes and trousers are military-controlled supplies and are not allowed to be bought or sold," a soldier from the regiment said righteously.

The Japanese businessman was dumbfounded. He had no way of arguing with these soldiers because he had a gun. But he still replied stubbornly:

"We have reported to the Japanese army."

The soldiers stared at him angrily.

He was so frightened that he dared not speak any more. He did not know that a greater danger was waiting for him.

The soldiers of the regiment also went to confiscate medical drugs, equipment and supplies from a Japanese army clinic on Commercial Street, but were obstructed by the clinic owner.

Two soldiers stepped forward, one soldier hit him in the stomach with the butt of a rifle, and the other soldier hit him in the right cheek with the butt of a rifle. Then, the two soldiers, one in front and one behind, dragged him out of the clinic.

The clinic owner held his stomach, rubbed his cheeks, looked at the angry soldier, and dared not say a word.

Then a regiment of medical soldiers entered the clinic to treat soldiers wounded in the battle.

The clinic owner, supported by the nurse, reluctantly left his clinic.
