When the First Company of the First Battalion pursued to Maofeng Mountain, the Japanese army had dug anti-tank trenches there in advance.

After the First Company of the First Battalion and the Third Battalion broke through the Japanese Army's Maofeng Mountain defense line, they encountered a Communist anti-Japanese guerrilla force in Suifeng Village near Maofeng Mountain.

Under their leadership, a regiment of soldiers surrounded the Japanese Wuxianmen Power Plant.

Wuxianmen Power Plant was an important energy facility of the Japanese army in Guangzhou.

The Japanese army deployed a large number of sentries and patrols at the entrance of the power plant.

If we attack the power plant from the front and the battle cannot be resolved in a short period of time, the Japanese army will become desperate and blow up the power generation facilities inside, which will be a huge loss for both the citizens of Guangzhou and the First Anti-Japanese Army.

The third battalion commander discussed the situation with the guerrilla captain who was familiar with the situation, and was pleasantly surprised to find that there were picket workers from their guerrilla team in the Wuxianmen Power Plant who could protect the power generation facilities.
