After the November 1st dinner, Qiao Ran returned home, sat obediently on the sofa, and took out the birthday present Jiuli gave him.

The black top-of-the-line touch-screen phone was obviously customized. The corners of her mouth curled up. She didn't want herself to know, so she just had to be reluctant and not know. She would eventually tell it.

"What are you looking at?" Jiuli came out after washing up, sat next to him, and poured herself a cup of freshly brewed almond tea.

"Look at my birthday present," Qiao Ran turned sideways and pulled Jiuli into his arms, rubbing his chin on the top of her head, "You are so nice to me. What Zhao Hua said today is right. Let's get married after graduation?" The last sentence was full of wishful thinking.

"Okay, it's already late today, you can go to bed early and don't have to wait for me." Jiuli hugged Qiao Ran tightly, then let go after a moment.

"Are you busy?" Qiao Ran was stunned by the hug. "I'll make you some midnight snack. It's very late after I'm done."

I subconsciously looked at Jiuli's eyes. There was a dark tint under her eye sockets. It was obvious that she had stayed up late. My heart felt sour.

"Okay, I'll come out when I'm done with my work and go to bed." Jiuli waved her hand and walked into the study without looking back.

"I cooked Tremella soup for you, remember to drink it later," Qiao Ran knocked on the study door and said softly after a while.

"I see. Our Qiao Qiao is the best." Jiuli praised obediently and continued to compete with the old man in wits and courage.

Of course, she was the one talking the whole time, and those people were listening. All they could hear from beginning to end was the sound of the pen scratching on paper.

Jiuli returned to the bedroom and Qiao Ran was already asleep.

I lifted the quilt and found an arm lying next to me, around my waist.

"Are you back?" Qiao Ran's voice was still hoarse.

"Didn't I tell you to go to bed first? Are you suffering from insomnia?" Jiuli turned off the lights, turned over and snuggled in Qiao Ran's arms.

"Nothing. You woke up when you came over. Go to sleep." He rubbed his chin against Jiuli's forehead with his eyes closed.

"Did I wake you up?" He asked softly, hugging Qiao Ran, "Go to bed quickly, it's getting late, you have classes tomorrow."

"Good night." Qiao Ran raised the corners of his lips, forming a satisfied arc. His breathing gradually calmed down and he fell into a deep sleep.

I woke up in the morning and hurried to school with my breakfast. After entering my junior year, time went by faster and the courses became more rigorous, preparing me for future higher education.

"I'm graduating. As a family member, do you have to show up?" Qiao Ran put on his coat and looked at Jiuli who hadn't gotten up.

"I'll get up right away," Jiuli climbed out of bed with difficulty, "The meeting last night was a little late,"

"Look at you, if you didn't remember to come back, what's the difference between me having a girlfriend and not having one?" Qiao Ran muttered, still picking clothes for Jiuli from the closet.

"You are here, where else can I go if I don't come back? You are very important to me." Jiuli rubbed his eyes, "I have been a little tired in the past two years, but it will be better in a few days."

"Didn't you say that we have only met a few times? You are becoming more and more elusive. Hurry up and get up. I'll make breakfast." Qiao Ran urged and went into the kitchen.

Following the sound of pots and pans colliding, an aroma wafted from the kitchen. It was the steamed buns with hot and sour beans and mapo tofu that Jiuli had recently fallen in love with. They tasted particularly good.

"Qiao Qiao is really becoming more and more virtuous," Jiuli leaned against the kitchen door after washing up, "What delicious food should I cook? It smells so good."

"Your favorite hot and sour beans, mapo tofu buns, and porridge. Come over and eat after you finish washing up." Qiao Ran waved.

After dinner, the two left the yard and got in the car to go to Yan University.

The streets are no longer filled with bicycles. Instead, they are replaced by small skateboards, which are fast, light, easy to identify directions, and have small parking spaces.

Skyscrapers have replaced the residential buildings of a few years ago, with a full sense of technology, and today's news is on the big screen.

"Nervous?" Jiuli tilted her head to look at Qiao Ran's face.

"Don't be nervous," Qiao Ran took a deep breath, only his eyes changed slightly.

"Just think of everything below as cabbages. Isn't that what you taught me?" Jiuli patted Qiao Ran's clenched hands.

"Okay." Qiao Ran nodded. He couldn't afford to embarrass himself.

"I'm going up," after a while, Qiao Ran, whose name was called, walked forward with a confident look on his face.

They talked freely and without any nervousness at all. After graduating successfully and getting both certificates, they took a walk beside the artificial lake.

"Let's go home. What do you want to eat tonight?" Qiao Ran looked at Jiuli beside him, wondering when to marry her home.

"You can cook anything," Jiuli smiled, "I'm telling the truth." Somehow, he has mastered the skill of cooking in this life.

"It's my honor that you like it. Let's go buy some groceries and celebrate." Qiao Ran's smile became even softer.

"Okay, I'm not picky about food, anything is fine." Jiuli said.

"Then buy some vegetables, your favorite fruits and snacks." Qiao Ran carefully counted the things missing in the house.

"Is there nothing you like?" Jiuli took a look at the food in the shopping cart. It was very good, all of which were her favorites.

"I like everything you like to eat," Qiao Ran said.

"You need to go back and talk about this with so many people," Jiuli added later, "How did you learn to say this recently?"

"You don't like what you learned from others?" Qiao Ran was puzzled. It was clearly said on the Internet and in books that this was a way to express love. "If you don't like it, then I won't say it again in the future."

"I like you. Just be yourself. No matter what you are like, I like you." Jiuli ate seriously and praised you. "The buns you made are delicious too. I like them."

"Eat more if you like it. I thought it wasn't to your taste. What are your plans for tomorrow?" Qiao Ran looked gentle.

Today's dinner consisted of mapo tofu and steamed buns with mushrooms and vegetables. Both of us were very satisfied with the meal. After eating, we lay on the sofa together and watched a movie.

"No arrangements," Jiuli thought about it seriously, well, it's no big deal, and opened her mouth to eat the grapes that Qiao Ran fed her.

"So shall we go shopping or watch a movie tomorrow?" Qiao Ran peeled the grapes and continued to feed Jiuli. "We haven't gone out alone for a long time."

"You decide the location and I'll just go with you. I'll leave everything to you at home." She didn't want to have to think even at home.

"Then let's go shopping first, and then go to the movies. It's time to buy clothes." Qiao Ran carefully calculated what to buy.

"I'll do whatever you say," Jiuli turned over, hugged Qiao Ran's waist with both hands, and her warm breath sprinkled on Qiao Ran's clothes.

"Why are you so well-behaved today? Did you do something bad outside?" Qiao Ran took out a tissue and wiped it.

"What bad thing can I do?" Jiuli was not very satisfied.

"I knew that our Jiuli was the best behaved," Qiao Ran stretched out his hands, held Jiuli in his arms, and left a kiss on her forehead.

"You're good too," Jiuli hugged Qiao Ran tightly, very satisfied. "Didn't you take on a big project these days? Do you have time to go shopping with me?" Jiuli quickly changed the subject.

"I just don't have any inspiration, so I might as well go out for a walk." Qiao Ran looked indulgent and doting, "Or maybe you don't want to go."

"Go," Jiuli agreed without hesitation.
