There is also a Pokémon that belongs to him - it stands in front of the corridor... It is the [Fire-type] Charmander that Ahao got from Professor Oak!

At the Pokémon Tower in Lavender Town, a new Pokémon trainer from Pallet Town is fighting a wild survival battle against the first generation of the [Fire] Pokémon Charmander! "Charmander, use the [Crazy Grab] trick on Rattata!"

One of the first three Pokémon, Charmander, has its Pokémon battle just before dusk.

Charmander's claws attack... while running towards the wild Rattata on the ground of Aster Tower...

Maybe it’s because it has lived in the Elf Tower for a long time...it is quite familiar with the environment in the building.

The wild Rattata easily dodged the Charmander that was attacking him, and the Charmander's attack missed... The flame on its tail was also burning... The flame flickered in the air, slightly raising the temperature...

The Wild Rattata's [Crazy Scratching] special move hit the target! The attacking Charmander ended up being the victim, with the Rattata scratching and bruising his forehead... It was scratching and bleeding...

Hiro's Charmander is in a very unfavorable situation... but it seems like it can still fight...!

Trainer Hiro was worried about his Charmander, and wanted to end the battle as soon as possible... "Charmander, use our best special move [Spark] on Rattata! This move should be effective."

Hiro came to Lavender Town from Pallet Town. Although he had been to Tsukimiyama and Nibi City, he had not encountered any good rare Pokémon. He had already won two gym badges in the Kanto region... a blue [Ocean Badge] and a gray [Rock Badge].

"Charmander has used the Fire-type [Spark] special move!!!" Small balls of flames spewed out of Charmander's mouth... and rushed towards Rattata... Rattata was mercilessly surrounded by the flames! The situation was not good at all...

The purple wild Rattata in the tower was hit by the [Spark] special move... The [Fire Attribute] damage is really effective in outdoor battles...

The wild Rattata in the Pokémon Tower was defeated, but was captured by Hiro using a Poké Ball.

Ahao: "That's great! Charmander, it's all thanks to you that I was able to capture a new Pokémon." It's a great thing that Ahao, a new trainer, can get a new Pokémon of his own.

Hiro now has a total of four Pokémon. When in Viridian Forest, Hiro obtained the Grass-type Skullflower, and because the Pokémon competition at the Cerulean Gym was held in an aquarium, Hiro also captured a Water-type Crab in the pond of Mt. Tsukimi.
