The news that Emperor Donghua had accepted a disciple had spread throughout the world before Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji returned to Taichen Palace.

"What! The Emperor accepted a disciple?! When did this happen? No, I have to go and take a look!" Lian Song was so shocked by the news that he almost dropped his fan. He didn't care about Ye Hua who was standing next to him and hurried towards Taichen Palace.

In the Ten-mile Peach Forest, Zheyan was drinking tea with Bai Zhen. When he heard the news brought by the bird, his hands trembled and the tea spilled out.
