After saying goodbye to Lan Qiren, Lan Wangji went straight back to the quiet room. When he opened the door, he saw several overturned wine jars scattered on the ground, and Wei Wuxian was lying in the middle of the wine jars. It was unclear whether he was drunk or asleep.

Lan Wangji went in, closed the door gently, put away the wine jar on the ground, and then walked towards Wei Wuxian and called him softly, "Wei Ying?"

After calling Wei Wuxian a few times, there was no response. Lan Wangji could only carry him to his bed, fetch a basin of water, and simply wipe him.

Lan Wangji sat on the floor beside the bed, quietly watching Wei Wuxian, who was not even sleeping properly. It felt a little unreal. Did he really find this person? Was it really not just his imagination that had been going on for more than three months?

“Lan Zhan…” Wei Wuxian murmured Lan Wangji’s name in his sleep.

Lan Wangji was brought back to his senses by the whisper, and he stepped forward to comfort him gently, "Wei Ying, I'm here."

As if comforted, Wei Wuxian fell asleep peacefully again. Lan Wangji did not leave, but just kept patting him gently to soothe him to sleep.

Wei Wuxian was awakened by the smell of food. He climbed out of bed in a daze and walked towards the source of the smell without even putting on his shoes. "It smells so good! Lan Zhan, what delicious food did you make?"

Lan Wangji frowned as he looked at Wei Wuxian who came out barefoot, "The floor is cold, go back and put on your shoes and socks first."

“It’s okay, I’m not afraid of the cold.” Wei Wuxian said nonchalantly, and continued to walk towards the table with the food. On the way, Lan Wangji grabbed him by the waist. He was startled and struggled to get off, “Ah…, Lan Zhan, what are you doing? Put me down!”

Lan Wangji ignored his struggle and directly carried him back to the bed and sat him down, squatting down to help him put on his shoes and socks. Wei Wuxian was startled and quickly retracted his foot, "No, no, no, Lan Zhan, don't do it, I can do it myself!"

Lan Wangji ignored his refusal, forcefully pulled out his retracted feet, gently helped him put on his shoes and socks, and brought water for him to wash.

Wei WuXian raised the corners of his mouth high, his eyes and eyebrows revealing joy, "Lan Zhan, we will be together for the rest of our lives."

"Yes, let's be together!" Lan Wangji said in a firm tone, and the two of them hugged each other tightly, the scene was very warm.

Lan Wangji felt helpless, but he still picked him up and walked towards the dining table, "Let's eat."
