In car No. 8, facing the questioning of Kogoro Mori.

Noto was a little confused: "The fire five years ago? You want to ask what that fire has to do with me?"

Maori Kogoro's eyes were as sharp as a knife. He stared at Noto closely and said in a serious tone: "Mr. Noto, you can't pretend that you don't know."

Maori Kogoro did not give Noto too much time to think. He continued, "I have just confirmed the details of the incident with the Shizuoka Prefecture police. Your name appeared among the people who were rescued."

Maori-Kogo's tone became more serious: "That's right, a Self-Defense Force officer. He was also a fellow swordsman of the wealthy family who died in the fire, Mr. Noto Taisaku."

In response to Maori Kogoro's questioning, Noto replied, "No... that's right."

Noto nodded slightly, touched the scar on his face, and said in a low voice: "Yes, this scar was left by the fire."

Noto Taisaku pulled out a seemingly ordinary bamboo sword from his bag and said casually, "That is just an ordinary bamboo sword."

Maori blinked, somewhat puzzled. "Bamboo sword?" How could this be just an ordinary bamboo sword? He was curious and decided to continue watching.

Noto showed the bamboo sword to Mori with a smug smile on his face: "Look, there is only a bamboo sword in the bag."

Noto nodded, his eyes revealing determination: "Yes, because I have made an appointment with my friends in Nagoya to practice swordsmanship together later."

Conan smiled and explained, "Because we saw the back of the man who might be the murderer running away. I thought, if you could run in the corridor and let me take a video, maybe it would help me find some clues."

The group came to Mr. An Zhongyu's room and asked him about the case again. An Zhongyu looked at them, with a complex emotion in his eyes, and he spoke slowly.

"You are absolutely right." An Zhongyu's voice was low and powerful. "I was An Zhong who was rescued together with Mr. Murohashi in that fire."

"Because you didn't ask me, I didn't bring it up specifically," An Zhongyu continued.

At this moment, Sera Masumi suddenly looked around the room and asked, "By the way, there is a big bag in your room. What is that?"

An Zhongyu looked back at the bag and replied, "That is a painting that a client asked me to take for appraisal."

"Can I open it and take a look?" Kogoro Mouri requested.

An Zhongyu nodded and agreed, "Okay."

He walked over and unbuttoned the bag, revealing the painting inside. Maori Kogoro walked forward and reached out to pick up the painting, but was surprised to find that it was unusually heavy.

"This painting is quite heavy." Kogoro Mori said in surprise.

An Zhongyu explained: "Because the frame is made of pure gold."

Maori Kogoro was even more surprised after hearing this: "Pure gold? I see."
