The bicycle slowly stopped and both of them got off. Han Sen held onto the bicycle and asked Su Yunyun expectantly, "Really? Are you going to the county town today just to see the old Chinese doctor?"

"Brother Han, I have to tell you the truth. This prescription is not from the old Chinese doctor," Su Yunyun thought for a long time while riding her bicycle. She was worried that Han Sen would keep asking about the old Chinese doctor, and she had no way to find out who this person was. "I copied it from a book."

Han Sen's deep eyes turned from bright to dim. It seemed that she didn't want to tell him her secret yet, but he could understand. "It doesn't matter. If the old Chinese doctor doesn't want to give it to me, then forget it for now. We can talk about it when we have the chance later."

Hearing that Han Sen still cared about the old Chinese doctor, Su Yunyun became a little anxious. "Brother Han, the old Chinese doctor has a very strange personality and his whereabouts are erratic. It's hard to find him again."

Han Sen lowered his head and looked at the muddy road. After hiding the disappointment in his eyes, he looked up and said to Su Yunyun, "Okay, I won't mention the prescription anymore."

"Brother Han, please don't. I said I copied a prescription from this book," Su Yunyun explained hurriedly, looking at the desolation emanating from Han Sen. "Don't underestimate this prescription. I asked Mr. Du to look at it. He is the Mr. Du who lives in the cowshed. He used to be a professor at Beijing Medical University. He said that this prescription is very effective in treating external injuries and should shorten the healing time of wounds. I don't understand it, but I think it should be similar to the ointment prescribed by the old Chinese doctor for you."

Han Sen's cold eyes sparkled with flames, shining amazingly. "Yunyun, are you telling the truth? Mr. Du said the medicine is very effective, right?"

"Yes, I was thinking that the plaster you mentioned last time is almost used up, so I just wanted to try this prescription. So I went to the county town today to get the medicine according to the prescription and make the plaster." Su Yunyun pointed to the basket hanging on the front of the car. "There is a glass jar in the basket, and it contains the re-prepared plaster. You can open it and take a look."

Han Sen quickly parked the car to the side, then rummaged through the basket with his hands and took out a glass jar from the basket. Su Yunyun helped to unscrew it, and a strong medicinal fragrance emanated. "It's different from the previous scent, but it smells very comfortable."

Han Sen stared at the glass jar for a while and asked Su Yunyun to screw the lid on. "I will start using this new plaster tonight and observe carefully how it works. If the effect is really as Elder Du said, Yunyun, can I give the prescription to the troops?"

Su Yunyun saw the hope in Han Sen's eyes and replied directly, "Brother Han, this is for you. You are the first person to try the medicine, so you have a say. If the medicine works well, just hand it over to the troops. I am very happy that I can help you."

Faced with Su Yunyun's generosity and the fact that she confessed her secret to him in another way, Han Sen's chest felt full, sour, and excited.

Since meeting her, his life has been filled with light and getting better and better!

Han Sen hugged Su Yunyun, rubbing his chin against the top of Su Yunyun's head, tenderly and lovingly.

After waiting for a while, Han Sen took out a passbook from his pocket and handed it to Su Yunyun. "Yunyun, this is the passbook. I'm giving it to you now. You can keep it for the future. I'll come to you for money when I need it."

Su Yunyun was a little stunned when she looked at the passbook in her hand. She felt that the passbook was a little hot. "Brother Han, how can you give it to me? You can keep it yourself."

"Just take it," Han Sen told Su Yunyun to put the passbook away. "I heard someone say that a family can only be happy if they listen to their wives. I want to be happy, so I'll start by handing in the passbook."

Seeing Su Yunyun's cute expression still a little dazed, Han Sen's eyes flashed with timidity, "Yunyun, have you not decided to be with me yet?"

When Su Yunyun heard this, she felt that Han Sen was overthinking. In order to dispel his doubts, she put the passbook in her pocket and said, "Brother Han, you have already handed over the passbook. You can't regret it in the future!"

"I won't regret it!" Han Sen promised.

When the sun set, Han Sen took Su Yunyun back to Dongshan Village. Along the way, the brand new bicycle caused discussions among the villagers. They all thought that the Su family doted on their daughter too much, buying her a bicycle just like that.

But no one doubted that it was bought by Han Sen.

What a joke! Everyone in the village knew that Han Sen only had that much money. How could he build a house after buying a bicycle? He couldn't possibly live in the team headquarters forever. And if he didn't build a house, the Su family would definitely not want Su Yunyun to marry into their family.

When Han Sen and Su Yunyun stepped into the yard, Li Yue and Wang Ye, who were excitedly chatting with Su's mother, saw them and immediately put down their things, walked up to the two men, and touched the brand new bicycles again and again. "This is a new bicycle!"

"Han Sen, why did you buy a bicycle?" Su's mother looked at the bicycle and originally guessed that it was bought by Su Yunyun, but after thinking about it, she felt that it shouldn't be the case. Her daughter didn't show the slightest thought of needing a bicycle. If she wanted to buy one, the family would do everything they could to buy it for her.

So it seems that this bicycle was bought by Han Sen, but he doesn't need it now, so it would be a waste to buy it!

"Aunt, I may need to go back and forth to the county town frequently in the future, so having a bicycle will be very convenient." Han Sen remembered that he would need to go to the county town to contact the army in the future. If Su Yunyun went to the county town, he could accompany her. Riding a bicycle to and from the town and then taking a bus could save a lot of time.

"Oh, if you need to get something done, then a bicycle can help." Su's mother stopped worrying about it. After all, Han Sen had a legitimate reason to buy it, and he had money.

"Mom, this is what I bought from the county, please keep it." Su Yunyun handed the basket to her mother with a cautious look on her face.

When Su's mother saw the things in the basket, she was really angry. "Yunyun, you have a grudge against the money in your hand, right? I told you that if you want to eat it, just tell your third brother and ask him to buy it for you, but you refused to listen and bought it all the way from the county town."

"Mom, isn't it because I saw that the food I bought last time was almost finished?" Su Yunyun smiled slyly, "I was greedy too, so I bought too much. Besides, I bought it from the county supply and marketing cooperative, so I can't return it. You can keep it."

"I knew you were going to do that," Mother Su looked at the basket in her hand, then raised her head. "Han Sen, I told you this afternoon that when Yunyun goes to the county town, you should go with her. Don't let her buy things randomly."

\"Okay, auntie.\" Han Sen nodded in agreement. He would buy it when the time comes, so that Su Yunyun would not be scolded.

Seeing Han Sen nod, Su's mother felt much better. She then divided half of the candy, peach cakes, and milk biscuits from the basket and asked Su Yunyun to take them back to the house. She gave one towel and one soap to Han Sen each, and then took one out and put it in the yard for each of them to use. She put the rest away. Then she saw the meat buns and thought that it was hot and they couldn't be kept for a long time, so she gave the meat buns to Li Yue and told her to continue eating meat buns for dinner.

When Su Yunyun saw that the alarm was lifted, she remembered what they seemed to be talking about excitedly when they just came back. She thought it was something about patriotism, so she quickly asked, "Sister-in-law, what were you and Sister-in-law talking about just now? Were you talking about patriotism?"
