The short videos I watched from all dynasties
Chapter 72: What would have happened to the Yuan Dynasty if Prince Zhenjin hadn’t died?
Alas, the shame of Jingkang has not yet been avenged.
When I saw the Jingkang Shame, I thought of Marshal Yue. It would have been great if Marshal Yue had really attacked Huanglongfu and recovered the Central Plains.
When Li Ranran thought of this, she didn’t want to watch the Song Dynasty anymore, so she exited and refreshed the video.
This prince is not familiar...
[If the Prince Zhenjin had not died, would the Yuan Dynasty have been able to successfully sinicize?]
[The Yuan Dynasty was the first time in Chinese history that a foreign race entered the Central Plains and established a unified country. However, this country lasted less than a hundred years. One of the important reasons for its demise was "Sinicization."
Since the Yuan Dynasty entered the Central Plains, it began to learn the advanced governance methods of the Han people, but each time it encountered difficulties or simply stopped halfway through implementation.
Prince Zhenjin was the leader of the Han-French school, and he had been committed to promoting Han-French law and making the Yuan Dynasty completely Sinicized. Unfortunately, due to the early death of Prince Zhenjin, the Sinicization was stopped. Even though Emperor Renzong of Yuan promoted it later, it was only a flash in the pan.
[Prince Zhenjin was the eldest son of Kublai Khan, the founder of the Yuan Dynasty. Kublai Khan was deeply influenced by Han culture during his conquests, so when Zhenjin was still young, Kublai Khan searched for a large number of Confucian scholars for him.
Yao Shu, a great Confucian scholar at the time, was the teacher of Prince Zhenjin. Later, he sent the famous Dou Mo to teach Prince Zhenjin. Not only these Confucian scholars, but also Wang Xun, a disciple of Han minister Liu Bingzhong, was sent to be Zhenjin's companion.
In the tenth year of the Zhiyuan period, Kublai Khan abandoned the original Mongolian traditional kurultai election system and adopted the Han nationality's primogeniture inheritance system, making his eldest son Zhenjin the crown prince.
[Prince Zhenjin implemented many Sino-French policies, requiring Mongolian students to learn not only Mongolian but also Chinese. In the dispute between Buddhism and Taoism, Prince Zhenjin also elevated the status of Taoism to balance Buddhism and Taoism so that one would not dominate the other.
It was also through the control of Prince Zhenjin that the amount of treasure notes in the early Yuan Dynasty was kept within a certain range, thus avoiding economic crisis.
Prince Zhenjin and Heli Huosun jointly petitioned Kublai Khan to open the imperial examination, but Kublai Khan did not agree due to the obstruction of Mongolian ministers. In the later period, Kublai Khan gradually disliked the Han-French school and was more inclined to the financial management school.
The financial management faction was mostly composed of the old Mongolian aristocracy, while the Han-French faction had a larger number of people, mainly in the censors and important functional departments.
The financial management school insisted on abolishing the Han law, while the Han law school suppressed the financial management school. The two schools disliked each other, but they also maintained a delicate balance.
However, the Yuan Dynasty was always lacking in administrative system because it abolished the Menxia Province and the Shangshu Province, and it did not find a good way to solve the problem, which led to increasingly serious corruption problems and increasingly dark officialdom, making the Yuan Dynasty a short-lived dynasty.
In the 21st year of the Zhiyuan period, Kublai Khan appointed Lu Shirong, a Han businessman, to manage finances.
Prince Zhenjin rebuked Lu Shirong: "Money doesn't fall from the sky, how can you squeeze out profits every year? I'm afraid that the blood and sweat of the people will dry up because of this. It's not only harmful to the people, but also a big borer to the country!"
So Lu Shirong was impeached by the Han-French faction and executed in prison just a few months later.
[ It can be said that Prince Zhenjin was the most suitable successor to the Yuan Dynasty, but the abdication turmoil in the 22nd year of the Yuan Dynasty made Kublai Khan suspicious of Prince Zhenjin, which also led to Prince Zhenjin's untimely death.
In the 22nd year of the Zhiyuan Period, a Han minister submitted a petition to ask the aged Kublai Khan to abdicate to the Crown Prince Zhenjin. Zhenjin was terrified when he learned of this and asked Shangwen, a Han minister in charge of the capital affairs, to hide the petition.
However, the financial management faction and others found out about it and reported the memorial about abdication to Kublai Khan, who was furious.
Kublai Khan summoned Prince Zhenjin and all the ministers, and executed Dajigu Asan and others from the financial management faction, as well as all the Han ministers involved in the matter.
From then on, Prince Zhenjin became anxious and depressed, and eventually died at the end of the 22nd year of the Zhiyuan reign. The death of Prince Zhenjin halted the process of sinicization in the Yuan Dynasty, and also caused the disappearance of many Han ministers in the court.
[ Kublai Khan blamed the death of Prince Zhenjin on the Han ministers and severely suppressed them.
In the 31st year of the Zhiyuan Period, Kublai Khan died and his grandson, Temur, succeeded to the throne. Temur was the legitimate son of Crown Prince Zhenjin. After he succeeded to the throne, he also believed that his father Zhenjin's death was caused by Han ministers. He was extremely displeased with sinicization, refused to be sinicized, and could not speak Chinese.
The complete and mutual division between the rulers and the ruled of the Yuan Dynasty was one of the reasons why its reign was short-lived.
In the special environment of the Yuan Dynasty, Prince Zhenjin preferred Confucian officials. If he had vigorously promoted Han culture and carried out in-depth institutional reforms after becoming emperor, the Yuan Dynasty might have gone further.
< The people are innocent, and the truth is that they can live a good life. >
<Fusu: If I hadn’t died, Qin would not have perished
Zhenjin: If I don't die, Yuan can live for more than 200 years.
Zhu Biao: If I hadn't died, there wouldn't have been so many weird things in the Ming Dynasty and later generations.
<Being a crown prince is different from being an emperor, don’t you think so, Yang Guang[dog head]>
<After Prince Zhenjin became emperor, he should have carried out reforms similar to Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty.>
<In fact, the eldest son heir system is better than the traditional Mongolian system. The first thirty years of the Yuan Dynasty were during the reign of Kublai Khan, the reign of Emperor Shundi of the Yuan Dynasty was thirty years, and the nine emperors in between were divided into more than thirty years. In the early period, the princes led the army to ascend the throne, and in the later period, the powerful ministers led the army to support the princes.>
<Given the state of the Yuan Dynasty at the time, even if Jin Zhen came to power, it would not change much>
< Well… maybe if it is localized in Chinese, it will die slower, and if it is not localized in Chinese, it will die faster [eating melon]>
<If the policy of sinicization had been maintained for a longer time, it would have become a habit after a long time. The early death of Prince Zhenjin had a great impact on the failure of sinicization in the Yuan Dynasty.>
<I disagree with the statement that Zhen Jin had not died and the Yuan Dynasty could have lasted 200 years.
First of all, the financial management faction of the Ahmana sect had a certain positive effect, but Prince Zhenjin also sent people to assassinate the financial management faction and even insulted ministers in public. From these actions, it can be seen that Prince Zhenjin was not a mature politician. >
<The Ming Dynasty borrowed many systems from the Yuan Dynasty, so the Ming Dynasty later surpassed the Han and Tang Dynasties. The Yuan Dynasty can also be compared [狗头]>
< Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty’s reforms actually led to the collapse of the Northern Wei Dynasty, which led to the “Six Garrisons Uprising”. It was not until the Sui and Tang Dynasties that the whole process was completed.>
< There is absolutely no problem with Sinicization, but foreigners cannot learn the bad habits as well. If they completely Sinicize like those aristocratic family politics and corrupt scholars…>
<Complete sinicization will lead to the early demise of the dynasty established by ethnic minorities, refer to the Northern Wei Dynasty.>
<Then why don’t you look at the Qing Dynasty…it’s been around for almost 300 years>
< I haven’t learned all of them yet, they are divided into different parts…>
……
I don’t know much about the history of the Yuan Dynasty, but this Prince Zhenjin seems pretty good.
Li Ranran wondered whether it would be better for the Yuan Dynasty to perish sooner or later?
Because the people in Xianyang didn't know what the First Emperor's order was, Hu Hai was not killed yet and continued to be beaten by his brothers and sisters.
Fusu, who was watching Hu Hai being punished, heard the words on the screen "If Fusu had not died, Qin would not have perished", so he took matters into his own hands and taught Hu Hai a lesson.
Zhu Di was alert to the word "奇巴"? Doesn't "奇巴" mean to praise someone? Why does it imply a derogatory meaning when it is used here?

Yuan Dynasty - 22nd year of Zhiyuan
Kublai Khan, who had just killed the remnants of Ahama and a group of Han ministers not long ago, realized that the prince who I had placed the highest hopes on would die this year! And in the more than 90 years of the Yuan Dynasty, there were nine emperors in more than 30 years!
Kublai Khan got up and went to the prince.
Prince Zhenjin has been anxious and often unable to sleep since the last abdication incident.
After hearing Guangmu's story and learning that he would die of illness this year, he said: "The Yuan Dynasty will not end like this!"
After Zhenjin had a goal and persistence, he decided to go to his father Kublai Khan to explain things clearly and express all his thoughts.
Kublai Khan was concerned about the prince, and the two met on the road. Kublai Khan asked the doctor to treat the prince.
"Your Majesty, please rest assured. The prince is doing well now." The medical officer replied to Kublai Khan.
"Father, I want to talk to you."
After Kublai Khan learned the future from the light curtain, he felt very sorry for Prince Zhenjin and personally took him back to the palace.
Prince Zhenjin looked at his father who was walking half a step ahead. Since when did his father become so high and mighty and had the final say?
Zhenjin talked about some suggestions he got from Guangmu’s previous talk about the Qing Dynasty and this spoiler.
After listening to Zhenjin's suggestions, Kublai Khan agreed with some of them, but thought others were too hasty.
But this time, Kublai Khan decided not to make the sinicization process stop and start again, nor would he allow the Yuan Dynasty to feel divided.
