The short videos I watched from all dynasties
Chapter 41 Who is his biological mother?
Although I am not too impressed with the first episode, the story of Qin Shi Huang is too familiar to me, and I have watched the TV series since I was a child, but apart from the Li Ranran in the middle, I really don't know who it is talking about. Continue to watch the next episode.
[Who is his biological father? Was his death an injustice or a deliberate murder? Why are there so many different opinions about his life story? 2]
[Hello everyone, here is a history story every day. Alas, I didn’t expect that the last video was not very good. Qin Shihuang is really too famous. I am really ashamed that I didn’t tell it well. I apologize.
Okay, let’s get to the point of today. Was his death an eternal injustice or a deliberate murder?
In 2012, the tomb of Zhao Tingmei, the King of Wei in the Northern Song Dynasty, was discovered in Henan. Zhao Tingmei's original name was Zhao Kuangmei. After his second brother Zhao Kuangyin ascended the throne, he changed his name to Zhao Guangmei. After his third brother Zhao Guangyi ascended the throne, he changed his name again to Zhao Tingmei.
[In history, Zhao Tingmei's death is confusing.
When talking about Zhao Tingmei's death, we must mention the "Golden Casket Alliance" and Zhao Pu. Zhao Pu was once the prime minister of the Northern Song Dynasty, but because he opposed the "brother-to-brother succession" to Emperor Taizu of Song, Zhao Kuangyin, and because he and Zhao Guangyi were political enemies in the same court, Zhao Pu was dismissed after Zhao Guangyi came to power and was not reused for many years.
It was not until 981 AD, the sixth year of Taipingxingguo, that Zhao Pu, who had just been reappointed as prime minister, brought out the Golden Casket Alliance. Legend has it that there are two versions of the Golden Casket Alliance. One version says that "after Taizu Zhao Kuangyin, the throne was passed to Taizong Zhao Guangyi, who then passed it to Zhao Tingmei, and Tingmei passed it to Dezhao." The other version says that "after Taizu Zhao Kuangyin, the throne was passed to Taizong Zhao Guangyi."
After Emperor Taizong of Song, Zhao Guangyi, ascended the throne, Zhao Tingmei was granted the title of Prince of Qi and Prince of Kaifeng, and later the title of Prince of Qin. Since the Five Dynasties, the successor to the throne was generally granted the title of Prince of Kyoto, so Zhao Tingmei was the next emperor at this time.
In 981, Zhao Dezhao, the two sons of Emperor Taizu Zhao Kuangyin, committed suicide after being rebuked by Emperor Taizong, and Zhao Defang died of illness. The only other person after Emperor Taizong in the three generations was Zhao Tingmei.
In 981 AD, the sixth year of Taipingxingguo, someone reported that Zhao Tingmei intended to assassinate him. Zhao Guangyi dismissed Zhao Tingmei from his post as the prefect of Kaifeng and exiled him to Luoyang. Then Zhao Pu wrote a letter to expose that Prime Minister Lu Duosun and Zhao Tingmei had colluded with each other in private and deliberately plotted a rebellion. Then Zhao Guangyi demoted Zhao Tingmei to Fangzhou again and sent officials to supervise him. Later in 984 AD, Zhao Tingmei died of anxiety in Fangzhou.
Zhao Pu, who had not been reused for many years, was finally reused because of this. Zhao Pu overthrew his enemy Lu Duosun, who was the prime minister, and Zhao Guangyi also solved his worries.
But at this time, Zhao Guangyi made a move. After Zhao Tingmei died, he told all the ministers that Zhao Tingmei and he were not brothers from the same mother, but illegitimate children born to his father Zhao Hongyin and his wet nurse Geng. All the parties involved were dead. When the ministers heard this, they looked at each other and dared not say anything. Well, you are the emperor, if you say it is not true, then it is not true. 】
[Here is a side note: when Zhao Tingmei was deposed and exiled to Fangzhou, only Emperor Taizong's eldest son Zhao Dechong came forward to appeal for his uncle Zhao Tingmei. After Zhao Tingmei died of anxiety and illness in Fangzhou, Zhao Dechong was stimulated and went crazy.
I have to say that Zhao Guangyi's actions don't seem like he ascended the throne normally...
After Song Zhenzong ascended the throne, he restored his fourth uncle's status as King of Qin and moved his burial from Fangzhou to Ruzhou. After Song Huizong ascended the throne, he changed his title to King of Wei.
People in later generations not only speculated whether Zhao Tingmei was killed by Song Taizong Zhao Guangyi, but also whether Zhao Guangyi was also responsible for the death of Song Taizu Zhao Kuangyin and the deaths of Zhao Kuangyin's two sons.
But because historical materials were revised in the early Song Dynasty, we don't know.
Okay, that’s all for this episode. There’s only one video left in this series. See you next time! 】
<Zhao Guangyi seemed to be an expert in poisoning. Most of the monarchs who surrendered died suddenly during his time.>
<When he was fifty years old and wanted to pass the throne to his son, he found that they were all Zhao Guangyi's followers, so he didn't dare to do so, and then he died.>
< Order of death: Zhao Dezhao, Zhao Defang, Zhao Tingmei. Zhao Guangyi's eldest son Zhao Dechong couldn't stand it and went crazy. >
<No matter how they died, the suspicion of the car god cannot be washed away. After all, he is the biggest beneficiary.>
< He probably didn't kill Zhao Kuangyin, because Zhao Da was really good to him. He was the only one among his brothers and nephews to be crowned a king, and he often gave him rewards. However, he probably killed his nephew and brother. >
< If the Gaoliang River God of Chariots had his brother’s ability, it wouldn’t be a big deal if he killed his brother like Li Shimin did…>
<People in later generations complained about him mainly because many of the drawbacks of the Song Dynasty were caused by him>
< Zhao Er is the most lame Taizong >
< Zhao Er's lineage is just not that good [狗头]>
<Anyway, the Southern Song Dynasty was also returned. Except for Emperor Gaozong of Song, all the people were descendants of Defang and Dezhao>
<At that time, Zhao Kuangyin's Queen Song wanted to pass the throne to Defang and asked the eunuch to find Defang, but the eunuch found Zhao Guangyi instead.>
<Zhao Da must have died of a sudden illness? Or maybe he was poisoned. It is impossible that Zhao Er killed him with an axe. Zhao Er couldn't beat his brother...>
……
It must be an injustice and deliberate murder!!! Li Ranran actually didn’t understand why Zhao Er was so anxious when he could have been the emperor. He killed his nephew and brother in such a short time after becoming the emperor. I don’t have any feelings about the emperors of the Song Dynasty except Zhao Kuangyin…
What a big melon! The people in Tianmu are not surprised by the secrets of the Zhao Song family. People before the Northern Song Dynasty watched this video and felt that Emperor Taizong of Song was suspected of killing his brother, brother and nephew, and his reputation was really bad. People after the Song Dynasty watched this video and said that Emperor Taizong Zhao Guangyi was indeed lame...

Song Dynasty, Qiande Year 5
"Zhao Guangyi! Tell me if you and I are brothers from the same mother!" Zhao Guangmei pointed at Zhao Guangyi angrily. She trusted her third brother so much! Not only did he kill her, he also slandered her as not being her mother's son!
Even the three-year-old De Chong knew to plead for himself, but his own brother actually wanted to kill him! This made Zhao Guangmei very sad.
This time, only Zhao Kuangyin, Zhao Guangyi, Zhao Guangmei and Zhao Dezhao watched the sky curtain together.
Zhao Dezhao looked at Zhao Guangyi in disbelief. Would his third uncle treat him, his younger brother and his fourth uncle like this in the future?
Zhao Kuangyin was furious. He wanted to pass the throne to him just to avoid the throne being seized by another family and the family being exterminated. But he killed his two sons and fourth brother.
"Resign from your post and stay at home, go back and reflect on yourself." Zhao Kuangyin thought that there were still nine years left! Zhao Guangyi had failed to recover the Sixteen Prefectures of Yanyun, so he had to rely on himself!
Zhao Guangyi's power is indeed too great. Does he have people among the eunuchs? We can't act rashly for the time being. We have to solve the problem once and for all!
Now, there is still time.

Liao Dynasty
Looking at what was happening in the Song Dynasty, Yelu Longxu asked Empress Dowager Xiao, "Mother, is what the sky curtain said true? Did Zhao Guangyi really not succeed to the throne in a normal way?"
Empress Dowager Xiao said, "Didn't you read what was said above? His actions are really hard to believe."
Yelu Longxu thought of something and laughed: "I think I know why he is called the Gaoliang River Chariot God, hahahaha."
Empress Dowager Xiao also recalled the battle between Emperor Jingzong of Liao and the Song Dynasty and said with a smile: "Tianmu is right about another thing. Zhao Er's lineage is no match."
Zhao Guangyi's son is also a coward...

Song Dynasty Shaoxing 5th Year
Song Gaozong Zhao Gou looked calm, but he was filled with resentment in his heart. Ever since the capital was moved to Hangzhou, he had been fleeing from place to place for several years, which had caused him to lose his fertility. How could he not hate him!
Quacks! They are all quacks. What did they say before that could be cured? In the end, the throne was still to be passed on to the lineage of Taizu!
Fortunately, Duke Jianguo Zhao Yuan (later changed his name to Zhao Shen) was also raised by him since childhood and was quite filial.

Tang Dynasty, the first year of Zhenguan
"Hmph! How dare you compare yourself with our Tang Dynasty? You are overestimating yourself!" Changsun Wuji snorted coldly. Due to the previous exposure of Tianmu, Changsun Wuji has been keeping a low profile recently and trying hard to be a good uncle to his brother-in-law.
Li Shimin was also unhappy in his heart. What he cared about the most was said lightly by Tianmu. He could not be angry with Tianmu and could only scold Zhao Guangyi: "Tianmu is right. It's really embarrassing for Taizong. It's lame."
Then I thought that Tianmu was right. As long as I have the ability to make the people of the Tang Dynasty live and work in peace and contentment and make the Tang Dynasty prosperous, who would remember those two defeated generals!
It turns out that Zhao Guangyi is an example of failure, and I am an example of success!
