Time Travel Adventure

Nannan suddenly disappeared, and when she came back she was holding a leaf in her hand, and she waved the leaf in front of me.

It felt like the scene in TV dramas where people use willow leaves dipped in water to wipe their eyes when seeing ghosts. I took the leaf from Nannan's hand and held it in front of my eyes. It was much smaller than my eyes.

"Put it in your mouth." Seeing that I looked naive, Nannan couldn't stand it anymore and gave me a hint.

I obediently put it in my mouth. I don't know what this leaf is made of, but as soon as I put it on my tongue, a cool feeling filled my entire tongue and rushed to my head.

When I looked straight ahead, I saw a scorpion floating in the air. In front of the scorpion was a bead, passing between the moon and the scorpion.

The light blue moonlight formed a line and was absorbed by the beads. It looked quite magical. "Wow, no wonder I couldn't see it just now. What is this?"

I stuck out my tongue and pointed at the leaves above. There was something in my mouth and I was afraid to swallow it, so I spoke with a lisp.

"Good stuff." I was still waiting for Nannan to say the next word, but after she finished speaking, she continued to stare at the scorpion, leaving me alone looking at her with my tongue sticking out.

Those who don’t know might think that the toad has become a spirit and is spitting out gold coins. Yes, gold coins, and the scorpion’s beads have the same meaning.

I retracted my tongue and continued watching. The scorpion did not react at all. It maintained this posture for several hours, which made me feel dizzy.

"Let's go back." Nannan was also so sleepy that she kept yawning and wanted to go to sleep. She wanted to run away just now but was held back by me. Now that she saw that I couldn't stand it anymore, she opened her mouth again.

"Okay, let's go back. What about the scorpion? When will it go back?" I moved my stiff body and looked at the scorpion in the distance, not moving at all. I felt a little distressed.

After all, these words came out of my mouth. No, why do these words sound weird? I was still daydreaming when I was scared back by the crowing of a rooster.

"It's gone." Nannan yawned and asked me to look straight ahead. Sure enough, the scorpion was gone. So scorpions are really afraid of chickens.

"No, what are you thinking about? It needs to digest the absorbed power and it also needs to sleep. The crowing of the rooster tells it that the time is up." Nannan sat on my shoulder and climbed down with me.

To be precise, I was crawling, and when I landed and looked at the sky, it was already getting light, so I quickly went back to sleep. I slept soundly, but I was too tired. I didn't turn over at night, and my arms were numb from being pressed against the bed.

I was complaining that my arm was numb and I couldn't stand it, so I walked around the room. Hongdou happened to see me like that. She touched my arm, and I didn't know where she pressed, but then I felt a pain.

Before I even started to cry out in pain, Hongdou let go of my hand and let me move around. As soon as she let go, I no longer felt any pain or numbness.

"Hongdou, sure." I shrugged my shoulders, moved my arms, and waited until I finished washing. I felt refreshed as if I had peeled off a layer of skin.

"Miss, you don't know, I don't know what the boss lady next door is thinking, she actually sent customers to our place." Hongdou said to me while serving me porridge.

I took the bowl and scooped a spoonful for myself. My stomach felt better instantly. "Does the customer have any questions?"

"The strange thing is that there isn't any, but I'm afraid that some bad ones might be stuck in it in the future." Hongdou picked up some food for me, and the anger in her words could not be hidden.
