I have a Mount and Blade panel and I kill people in the Game of Thrones

Chapter 7 Thorne's Conspiracy, Nearly Zero Defense

Although Jon's heart was filled with hatred for Alliser Thorne, and he wanted to rush up to the platform and tear him to pieces immediately, he knew clearly that this was a training ground, not a place where he could act wildly.

The rules of the night watch are of vital importance to him, even more important than life.

Therefore, in the face of Alliser Thorne's provocation, Jon simply glared at him fiercely, and then said calmly and firmly:

"As a new recruit of the Night's Watch, I firmly believe that I have the right to be selected and become a true brother of the Night's Watch."

"Very good, since our little bastard Lord Snow wants to prove that he is not a coward, then I would like to ask the new soldiers present, who is willing to teach him a lesson?"

Alliser Thorne then turned his gaze to the new recruits who had assembled in the training grounds and were eager to try. However, many of them seemed to be evasive when they met his gaze, and it was obvious that the previous competition with Jon had made them suffer a lot.

But not all of these recruits were cowards. A tall man named Hod stood up. Although he was only sixteen years old, he was taller and stronger than an average adult, and the muscles on his arms were as solid as rock.

Thanks to his stonemason background, he has a physique as strong as a diamond, and his face reveals a hint of cunning despite its ferociousness.

When Jon saw that his opponent was Halder, his heart sank. Halder was known for his immense strength, and the weight of his fists matched his size. Although Jon was an expert swordsman, he did not dare to be careless in the face of Halder's brute force.

What's more, Jon turned his head and looked at Lyon beside him...

Today is crucial for Lyon, whether he can become a true brother of the Night's Watch depends on this. Jon knows that he must not fall in front of Hord, and he must do his best to clear the obstacles for Lyon.

As his thoughts raced, Jon looked around and found that the only person who could be considered a friend on the field was Eddie. Jon decided to defeat all opponents except Eddie, and then let Eddie show mercy to Leon in the game.

This way, everything would make sense...

Leon would not be forced to go to Mole Town to do a job he didn't want to do.

Lyon racked his brains but couldn't understand how Jon could be so meticulous. In the ever-changing situation, he had arranged his retreat so thoroughly.

"I'll give you thirty seconds to prepare for battle. Once the time is up, the battle will begin immediately."

Alliser Thorne announced coldly from the podium, a sly smile flashing across his face.

Hearing this, Hood's originally cautious expression instantly turned into ecstasy.

Eddie was stunned for a moment as if he was struck by lightning.

"Thirty seconds? Even if we run to the armory, we won't be able to put on a suitable set of armor in this time, right?" Eddie exclaimed.

Alliser Thorne glanced at him expressionlessly, his voice devoid of emotion: "Twenty seconds."

Jon was also incredulous when he heard this. After hearing this number, Eddie hurriedly began to take off his armor.

However, time was running out, and as the countdown ended, Eddie became busier and busier, and in the end he only untied two hemp rope buckles.

Hod was fully armored, with a helmet that half-covered his face, and the corners of his mouth were slightly raised, revealing a sense of oppression. He approached Jon step by step.

Jon was not afraid of danger, showing extraordinary calmness and courage. Although Eddie was in a panic, Jon was not affected by it. He took a deep breath and walked towards Hord firmly.

"I bet Lord Snow will break two ribs. The bet is a bronze star!" someone shouted.

"Hey, I'll add another bronze star and bet he breaks an arm!" another person challenged.

"Do you guys really have low hopes for Lord Jon Snow? I'll add two more bronze stars and bet that Lord Jon Snow will only spit out blood." A third person joined the bet.

Seeing Jon and Halder standing in the middle of the venue, the atmosphere was tense and a conflict could break out at any time. The Night's Watch recruits around them did not hesitate to bet on the outcome of the two.

You know, in past contests, even in a single duel with both sides wearing armor, the chances of winning between Jon and Halder were only fifty-fifty.

What's more, Jon is now almost defenseless, and no one on the field thinks he can win.

The focus of the bet turned out to be Jon's injury.

Hearing his companions' disguised flattery, the excitement on Halder's face almost distorted his expression. He swung his two-handed sword and chopped at Jon without hesitation.

However, although the blow seemed powerful, it hit the ground heavily and had no effect except raising a cloud of dust.

Jon nimbly bypassed the slightly slow-moving Halder and slashed with his sword in one smooth motion. Unfortunately, the attack landed on Halder's thick back armor.

This attack did not cause any substantial damage except for making Hood, who underestimated his enemy, stagger.

Halder was angry because of the pain in his back, but he also realized that Jon's swordsmanship was indeed one of the best among the new recruits of the Night's Watch. He would never look down on Jon again before he won.

"Stonehead, if you lose, you will have to clean the toilet with our Lord Jon Snow from now on." Alliser Thorne's ridicule on the podium made Hod's face turn even redder, and his fighting spirit burned fiercely.

In anger, Hood swung the big sword in his hand. His sword skills seemed chaotic but in fact there was no method at all.

This allowed Jon to easily exploit several flaws and leave several sword marks on Halder's body.

Although the thick armor made Hood's already sluggish body look even more cumbersome, it also saved Hood's life at the critical moment.

If it weren't for the protection of this armor, Hood's body would probably be riddled with holes by now.
