I have a Mount and Blade panel and I kill people in the Game of Thrones
Chapter 150: The World Stops War
The Dreadfort is located on a hill that towers into the clouds. It has always been known for being easy to defend and difficult to attack. Roose Bolton's Bolton family has long been the most powerful force in the North after the Stark family, and they built this castle to be indestructible and unreachable. This is also an important reason why Jon tried his best to persuade Stannis to give up attacking the Dreadfort.
While Benjen Stark and his niece stayed at Winterfell, the rest of the group followed Jon and Lyon and marched towards the Dreadfort.
However, when Jon led two hundred Night's Watch defenders, forty White Ghost Knights, and the army that re-swore allegiance to the Stark family, they arrived at the Dreadfort, they were horrified to find...
The once formidable Dreadfort was now engulfed in flames, the flames visible from dozens of miles away.
Jon and his companions risked their lives and approached the Dreadfort for dozens of meters, where they were shocked to find a strange but huge dragon that was madly spewing hot dragon flames.
What’s even more terrifying is that as the dragon continues to spew out dragon flames, its size seems to be growing visibly, becoming increasingly huge and terrifying.
"Is this the commander-in-chief's dragon?"
After seeing this giant dragon spewing dragon flames, Tormund couldn't help but ask Jon beside him.
"This dragon has nothing in common with Lord Commander Balerion except for the same skin color!"
Davos' face was full of doubt. In his heart, he didn't think that the dragon wreaking havoc in the Dreadfort was Lyon's.
However, a human figure seemed to be vaguely visible on the back of the dragon.
"No! I am sure this is Balerion, Lord Commander of Lyon!"
Jon made his own judgment after just one glance at the dragon.
The arrows shot from the figure on the dragon's back also confirmed Jon's statement.
One person can create the effect of a rain of arrows from the sky, who else could it be other than Lyon?
But when they saw the hell on earth created by Leon and his dragon in the Dreadfort, Jon and the others were speechless. Even if they wanted to intervene, they were afraid that the dragon's flame would hurt them by mistake.
After all, flames don't recognize people.
So Jon ordered all the troops under his command to be deployed at the various entrances and exits of the Dreadfort and guard them tightly. Once any fish that escaped from the Dreadfort appeared, they would immediately launch a charge to kill them.
Unfortunately, they waited for half the night until daybreak, when the remaining flames of the dragon flames were extinguished, and no one in the Dreadfort escaped...
Inside the Dreadfort, Leon checked the panel. At this moment, the gold dragons rewarded for killing enemies on the panel were just a number to Leon. The only thing left was to calculate the effectiveness of killing enemies.
It can be seen that in one night, Lyon wiped out at least 20,000 soldiers of the Bolton family with the power of just one man and one dragon.
The Bolton family in the North, once notorious for flaying people and on par with the Starks, will probably no longer exist from now on.
When Jon led the Night's Watch army to the Dreadfort, Lyon had already noticed it.
Later, when Lyon appeared on the top of the Dreadfort facing the rising sun, he thought he would be greeted with flowers and applause amid the hustle and bustle, but to his surprise, he was greeted with deathly silence.
When Lyon rode on his dragon and looked down at the city wall, he found that the army loyal to Stark was crawling on the ground and silently offering their knees.
Because Olaf was injured, the army of free folk berserkers led by Tormund looked at him with fanaticism, as pious and serious as if they were seeing a god.
As for the Night's Watch and the White Walkers, the former are loyal and steady and don't make any noise, while the latter can't speak at all.
Jon's face was full of fatigue. Anyone who had listened to the howling of ghosts and wolves and smelled the charcoal-like stench of corpses across the city wall for a whole night would probably find it difficult to stay energetic.
"Leon... Commander-in-Chief..."
Jon looked up at Lyon, feeling mixed emotions.
He had countless questions to ask Leon.
Like, how did your dragon grow so huge overnight?
Have you been too cruel in your treatment of the Dreadfort?
Will you do the same to all the disobedient lords in Westeros?
And, is the Iron Throne your ultimate goal?
However, facing the strong murderous aura emanating from Leon and the majestic look displayed by the dragon as it stared at him, he swallowed all these questions back.
"Lord Lyon, Aegon the Conqueror forged the Iron Throne with the swords of the Lords of the Seven Kingdoms. Do you have the same ambition now?"
What Jon didn't expect was that it was Davos who had the courage to stand up and raise this question.
Davos walked forward alone, his expression solemn and resolute, revealing an indescribable firmness.
He bent down and picked up an iron sword that had been twisted and deformed by the heat. Although the hilt was still hot, he held it tightly and did not let go.
He whispered:
"The broken swords captured by Aegon the Conqueror were twisted by the high temperature of dragon fire and could not be used, so they were all forged into the Iron Throne."
After saying this, Davos looked up at the dragon.
"What are you going to do with these broken swords now?"
Balerion looked at the human Davos who dared to look directly at him with a sword under the city, and anger rose in his heart. He was about to open his mouth and spit out a stream of hot flames to devour him, but was forcibly stopped by Lyon's pat on the head at the critical moment.
Then, Balerion let out a dull roar towards the sky, forced the dragon flame that was about to burst out back into his body, and instead spewed out a strong smell of sulfur.
Davos realized that he had been to the gates of hell, and although his expression was terrified, he did not avoid it at all. He looked straight at Lyon, hoping that the latter could give him an answer.
"I have no interest in being the lone man on the Iron Throne."
Lyon's words sounded like the understatement said by a wealthy man in his previous life: I have no interest in money.
After hearing this, Jon was thoughtful: Becoming a king is destined to be lonely, and this fate has undoubtedly been proven true from Robert to Stannis.
But Davos didn't seem satisfied with Lyon's answer. He continued to ask:
"My Lord Commander, although Lord Roose Bolton of the Dreadfort did not surrender on time, would it be too cruel for you to take extreme measures? As you said, you do not want to be a cold-blooded conqueror. Please think twice and handle this matter in a more gentle and fair way in the future."
Davos's words were not to speak up for Roose Bolton, but in his opinion, Lyon was like Aegon the Conqueror, who destroyed the tacit war game among the nobles. But even Aegon did not have the habit of annihilating an entire clan at every turn, and generally he would negotiate first.
If the negotiations failed, the entire family would be burned.
But Lyon's next words were deafening.
"I don't have the time to enlighten those stubborn lords, Ser Davos. If you are so eloquent, why don't you go to King's Landing in person and convey my will once again."
"This time, I will take all the iron swords in the world and recast them into farm tools, iron pots, and even sophisticated machines like the Dragon Slaying Crossbow... I want to end the war in the world!"
