I fought guerrilla warfare in the Yimeng Mountains during the Anti-Japanese War

At the beginning of the battle, the two companies led by Li Ergou first eliminated the two strongholds near Siji Mountain. They used only ten rocket launchers and ten snipers to resolve the battle in ten minutes. After capturing the strongholds, the team ambushed by the railway, waiting for the Japanese reinforcements.

The Jinpu Line was of vital importance. The highest commander stationed in Zou County sent out both battalions, leaving only the regiment headquarters and a company of puppet troops to defend the county seat.

The Japanese troops supporting the north were a reorganized infantry battalion. The battalion commander, Shigeta Sakata, led 1,100 Japanese troops and rushed north along the railway line out of Zou County. The bullets pierced into the bodies of the Japanese soldiers, harvesting lives like a string of candied haws. The barbed wire became an insurmountable barrier for the Japanese army, and the bodies of the Japanese soldiers under the wire piled up in piles.

Ten minutes later, the gunfire became sparse, and there were wailings everywhere on the railway line. Some of the remaining Japanese soldiers fought back using the corpses of their own kind, and were blown up into the sky by rocket launchers. The horses could not be ridden as they were all loaded with captured ammunition, and the troops had to carry their own weapons and ammunition. There were no Japanese troops left in Zou County, so Li Ergou ordered his troops to move south along the railway line. There was another Japanese battalion over there, and it was unknown how the first and second companies were doing. The first and second companies had the same firepower configuration as our side, so even if they could not be annihilated, it would be no problem to defeat them.

At 9:30 in the evening, the team arrived at the east of Zou County, and marched south along the railway line. A row of the special operations company advanced three kilometers to search and guard, without having to worry about an ambush.

Five kilometers away from the ambush position of the first and second companies at Hongshanzhuang, the special operations platoon that was conducting reconnaissance in front returned.

The battle was over in just three minutes. Li Ergou ordered the battlefield to be cleaned up. These defeated soldiers did not have much on them. At most, each of them had a rifle and a few grenades.

Five minutes later, the team set out again, gathering the first and second companies to return to Baoduqiao. Although the first regiment had entered the Culai Mountain, Li Ergou's third battalion was still entrenched on the Baoduqiao line.
