Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin

Chapter 386 Dealing with this Sacred Artifact

Just as they were trying to uncover the secret of the stone tablet, a group of black-robed men suddenly appeared and surrounded them. These black-robed men had empty eyes, as if they were controlled by some kind of power. Harry, Ron and Hermione fought hard, but there were so many black-robed men that they were quickly subdued.

In the darkness, Harry vaguely heard a low voice, which was full of evil power: "I finally found you, Potter. Do you think you can stop me? This is just the beginning." Harry felt a powerful magical force coming towards him, his eyes went black, and he lost consciousness.

When Harry woke up, he found himself locked in a cold dungeon, with only a faint firelight around him. He heard the voices of Ron and Hermione, who were also locked in the same dungeon. Hermione tried to unlock the locks with magic, but the locks seemed to be under a strong counter-curse and could not be opened.

Just when they were in despair, a bright light suddenly appeared. Harry looked closely and found that it was Professor Dumbledore. He waved his wand and easily unlocked the chains and rescued them. Dumbledore told them that an ancient evil force was reviving in the college. This force was related to the legacy of Salazar Slytherin, and they had to find and destroy the stone tablet to stop the spread of this force.

Harry, Ron and Hermione decided to go back to the Forbidden Forest with Dumbledore and face the stone tablet again. This time, they were fully prepared. Harry held his wand tightly, full of courage and determination. He knew that this would be a difficult battle, but he would never back down.

When they came to the open space again, the black-robed man appeared again and tried to stop them. Harry, Ron and Hermione fought fiercely with the black-robed man. Dumbledore focused on the stone tablet and tried to break the spell on it with powerful magic.

The battle entered a fierce stage. Harry fought hard to repel the black-robed men one after another, but the enemies kept coming. Just then, he saw a figure rushing towards Dumbledore, trying to stop him. Harry tried his best and pointed his wand at the figure. A strong light flashed and the figure fell down.

Dumbledore finally cracked the spell on the stone tablet, and the stone tablet emitted a dazzling light and then turned into ashes. The black-robed men lost control and fell to the ground. The evil power was completely eliminated, and the Forbidden Forest returned to peace.

Harry, Ron and Hermione finally came out of the Forbidden Forest, exhausted. They supported each other and slowly moved towards Hogwarts Castle. The sky was gradually getting brighter, and their shadows were stretched long by the morning light. The three of them were immersed in the memory of the fierce battle just now.

"We really did it," Harry whispered, his eyes flashing with mixed emotions, "We really stopped that evil force."

Ron patted him on the back. "Yes, but it came at a heavy price. Professor Dumbledore was also seriously injured."

Hermione frowned, her heart filled with worry, "I really hope Professor Dumbledore can recover soon. Without his help, we would never have succeeded."

They were silent for a while and continued to move forward. Harry felt a mixture of emotions: a sense of accomplishment, exhaustion, and uncertainty about the future. He didn't know what would happen next, but he knew that no matter what difficulties he encountered, he would face them together with his friends.

When they returned to the castle, Professor McGonagall came to greet them. Her expression was serious, but there was a hint of warmth in her eyes. "You have done very well," she said. "Professor Dumbledore is recovering. You need to rest well."

Harry nodded, but he still had many questions in his mind. "Professor, is there anything more we need to know about the stone tablet and Salazar Slytherin's dark magic?"

Professor McGonagall thought for a moment, then replied, "This is a complex question. Salazar Slytherin's legacy remains a mystery. We will continue to investigate, but your safety and recovery are of utmost importance at this moment."

In the next few days, Harry, Ron and Hermione all got enough rest. Harry used this time to think about some things. He always felt that there were more unsolved mysteries behind the stone tablet and the black-robed man. He decided to find Luna to see if she could provide more clues.

When Harry found Luna, she was walking by the lake. The sunlight shone on her silver hair, making her look extremely beautiful. Harry walked over and called her softly.

"Harry," Luna turned her head and smiled, "do you have anything to ask me?"

Harry nodded and told Luna his doubts. Luna thought for a moment, then said, "Actually, I saw a strange thing deep in the Forbidden Forest. It was a small box that emitted a strange light. I'm not sure what it is, but maybe it has something to do with Salazar Slytherin's dark magic."

Harry felt his heart beat faster. "The locket? Do you remember where it is?"

Luna nodded, "Of course, I can take you there."

The next day, Harry, Ron and Hermione followed Luna to the depths of the Forbidden Forest again. After walking for a long time, they finally found the small box. It was hidden at the root of an ancient tree, emitting a soft silver light. Harry carefully took out the box and felt a strange power emanating from the box.

"What is this?" Ron asked curiously.

Hermione looked at it carefully for a moment, then said, "I think it might be a Hallow. Legend has it that Salazar Slytherin crafted several powerful magical items, and this might be one of them."

Harry felt a surge of excitement and nervousness. He carefully opened the box, and inside was an exquisite necklace with a silver gem in the center. Harry felt that this holy vessel contained a powerful power.

"What should we do with the Hallows?" asked Harry.

Hermione thought for a moment and said, "We need to find out its origin and purpose first. It will require a lot of research, but I believe we can find the answer."

After returning to Hogwarts, Harry, Ron and Hermione began to study the Hallows. Hermione used the ancient books in the library to slowly reveal the secret of the necklace. It turned out that the necklace was made by Salazar Slytherin himself and had a powerful protective magic that could resist attacks from all kinds of black magic.

As his research deepened, Harry gradually realized that this holy artifact might be an important weapon for them to fight against future dangers. He felt that the responsibility on his shoulders was even greater, but he also strengthened his determination. He knew that no matter how many unknown challenges lay ahead, he would bravely face everything with his friends.
