Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin
Chapter 373 Silence for a moment
"Come in, Harry." Dumbledore's voice was gentle but firm.
Harry opened the door and walked into the office filled with rare treasures. Dumbledore sat behind the desk, his eyes warm and deep, as if he could see through Harry's every thought.
"Sit down, Harry." Dumbledore motioned him to sit in the chair opposite.
Harry sat down, feeling a little nervous, but more excited. He knew that Dumbledore must have something important to tell him.
"Harry, you did very well," Dumbledore said. "Not only did you successfully destroy the crystal, you also protected your friends and Hogwarts."
"Thank you, Professor." Harry responded humbly, but his heart was still full of doubts and uneasiness. "But I know the dark wizard has not given up, he will definitely come back."
Dumbledore nodded, a hint of worry in his eyes. "You are right, Harry. The threat of dark wizards remains, and he will become more cunning and dangerous."
Harry clenched his fists, his resolve growing stronger. "Professor, I'm willing to do anything to protect Hogwarts and my friends."
"I know you do, Harry," Dumbledore said with a smile, "and that is why I have an important task for you to complete."
Harry's heartbeat quickened, his eyes filled with anticipation and curiosity. "What is it, Professor?"
"There is an ancient secret chamber in the basement of Hogwarts, which contains a very important magical item." Dumbledore's voice was low and mysterious. "This item has great power, enough to counter any conspiracy of the dark wizards."
"But why not just use the item?" Harry asked puzzledly.
"Because this item requires real courage and wisdom to control," Dumbledore explained, "and it also carries great risks."
Harry nodded. He knew it was an extremely difficult task, but he had no intention of backing down. "I am willing to find the object, Professor."
Dumbledore smiled with relief, "I believe you can do it, Harry. But you can't act alone this time. You need to be with your friends, because your power will be stronger together."
"I understand, Professor," Harry said firmly, "I will complete this task with Hermione and Ron."
After coming out of the headmaster's office, Harry immediately found Hermione and Ron and told them what Dumbledore said. Hermione and Ron expressed their willingness to complete the task with Harry without hesitation.
"We've been through so much, and this time will be no different," Hermione said confidently.
"That's right, Harry. No matter what dangers lie ahead, we will face them together." Ron patted Harry on the shoulder.
The three decided to make detailed plans and preparations first. They returned to the Gryffindor common room and began to consult various ancient books and scrolls, hoping to find more information about the Chamber of Secrets.
During the search, they found some important clues. Hermione found an ancient book that recorded the history of Hogwarts, which mentioned an ancient wizard who once controlled the magic item and the location of the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets.
"It says here that the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets is in a secret passage under Hogwarts, and it can only be opened by mastering the correct spell," Hermione said excitedly.
"Then let's go find that passage now." Harry decided immediately, and the three of them took all the necessary equipment and headed underground quietly.
In the darkness underground, Harry, Hermione and Ron explored carefully. They encountered many obstacles and traps, but overcame them one by one with wisdom and courage. Finally, they came to a hidden stone wall.
"This is it." Hermione whispered, took out the ancient book, and recited the spell according to the records in the book.
The stone wall slowly opened, revealing a deep passage. Harry felt a strong magical aura coming from the depths of the passage, and he felt nervous and excited.
"Come on, let's go in," Harry said firmly.
The three of them walked into the passage, and as the stone wall closed behind them, the road ahead gradually became narrower and more rugged. At the end of the passage was an ancient wooden door with complex runes engraved on it.
"This must be the Chamber of Secrets," Ron whispered.
Harry took a step forward and gently pushed the door open. Inside the door was a spacious secret room with a huge stone platform in the center and a magical object emitting a faint glow on the stone platform.
"This is the item Dumbledore mentioned." Hermione's eyes sparkled with amazement.
Harry walked forward carefully, feeling the powerful force emanating from the object. He reached out his hand and gently touched the object, and immediately felt a warm force flowing into his body.
"We did it, Harry!" said Ron excitedly.
Harry smiled and nodded, but he also understood that this was only part of their mission. The real challenge was still to come, they needed to use the power of this item to completely defeat the dark wizard and protect the safety of Hogwarts.
"Let's go back and tell Dumbledore the good news," said Harry.
When Harry, Hermione and Ron returned to Hogwarts with the magic item, Harry felt a mixture of emotions. He was happy for their success, but also felt a sense of uneasiness. This uneasiness became more and more obvious in the next few days, as if a shadow was hanging over his heart.
One night, Harry sat alone by the window of Gryffindor Tower, looking at the starry sky outside, thinking about everything that had happened recently. He recalled Dumbledore's words and his deep eyes, and suddenly realized that some details seemed wrong.
"Harry, are you okay?" Hermione's voice interrupted his thoughts. She walked to Harry and looked at him worriedly.
"Hermione, there are some things I don't understand." Harry whispered, with a hint of confusion and doubt in his eyes.
"What is it?" Hermione asked, concern written all over her face.
Harry was silent for a moment, and finally decided to speak out his doubts. "Do you feel that Professor Dumbledore seems to be using us?"
Hermione was slightly startled, then she began to think seriously. She knew Harry wouldn't ask such a question for no reason. "Why do you think so?"
"From the time we entered the Chamber of Secrets and found the magical object to the current series of events," Harry explained, "everything seems to be in Dumbledore's plan, as if he knew what would happen in advance."
