Kai has already cultivated to the seventh level, which is basically the highest level he can use on a daily basis.

He has to use all his strength.

"Kai, have you learned the eighth skill yet?"

Kai shook his head after hearing this: "I haven't learned it yet, but at this rate, I estimate I'll be able to learn it in less than a year!"

Kakashi was shocked to hear this, as it was said that the power gained from opening the Eighth Gate surpassed that of a Kage.

Its strength is almost infinitely close to that of the Six Paths level.

Kai actually said that it would take a year to learn it.

Despite his surprise, he wasn't worried at all. After all, opening the Eight Gates would mean certain death, as it was a ninjutsu that drained all of his chakra.

Using it will almost certainly result in certain death. Perhaps a Six Paths level cultivator could find a cure?

Kakashi didn't quite understand.

"Kakashi! The Eighth Gate is what I left for you! I will definitely let you experience the power of the Eight Gates!"

Kakashi was a little confused after hearing this. How come this was left for me?

"Kai, are you trying to kill me? Then I think I should reconsider our sparring match. Let's not see each other again."

Might Guy laughed after hearing this: "Kakashi, you're actually scared? That just means my ninjutsu is still pretty good. Don't worry, this kind of ninjutsu is definitely meant for the enemy!"

Kakashi forced a smile; he was genuinely a little scared by Guy's lame joke.

Kakashi has never experienced the threat of death.

Kai really gave Kakashi a chill down his spine today.

Kakashi mainly believed that Guy, that hothead, might be telling the truth.

"Kai, haven't you been out on missions lately?"

Kai shook his head after hearing this: "No, I haven't had any missions lately, so I've been staying in Konoha Village. But I've been training for a long time, so I think I should be fine."

Kakashi shook his head: "You should go on a mission. I recently went on a mission and killed someone. You should also go on a mission; I'll definitely feel that your aura is a bit weaker."

"Once you return from your mission, we'll have a friendly spar."

After hearing this, Might Guy thought about it and concluded that Kakashi might genuinely be thinking of him.

"Hmm... alright then, I'll go find a quest to look for, mainly because none of the quests at the quest gathering place are suitable for me."

Guy is already a Jonin-level ninja, and after opening the Gate of Shock, he should be able to reach Kage-level strength.

Ninjas of this caliber would never go to the mission meeting place; they would usually be assigned missions directly by the village.

However, there have been fewer missions in Konoha recently, as they have all been assigned to the more senior ninjas. Younger ninjas like Guy haven't been given many missions.

"That's right. If we were to spar, you'd be far behind in terms of sheer presence. How could we possibly spar? Wouldn't it be unfair for me to win?"

Might Guy squinted at Kakashi after hearing this: "I always feel like you're plotting against me, but I don't seem to have any evidence."

Kakashi broke out in a cold sweat upon hearing this: "Uh... no way, why would I scheme against you? Aren't we best friends?"

"If you want to spar, you can go and spar with Hatake. He doesn't have much to do lately."

Upon hearing this, Might Guy immediately perked up: "Hatake! That's good too!"

In fact, Might Guy's current transformation stems from a tracking of Hatake.

He originally just wanted to challenge him to a duel, but he ended up being caught by the police and almost went to jail.

If it weren't for Lord Sakumo, his reputation would have been ruined.

"Alright, I'll go find Hatake now. Hopefully, he'll agree to our sparring match."

After saying that, Kai quickly left Kakashi's side.

Looking at the energetic Guy, Kakashi sighed: "Hatake, let me share some of the burden. As your good brother, you shouldn't have any complaints, right?"

Kakashi and Hatake use different techniques, so if Guy goes to find Hatake, he might suffer a loss and then train even harder for a while.

That way, Kakashi can take a break for a while.

He had so many things to do that day; every now and then a burly man would suddenly appear and challenge him to a duel, which was quite frightening.

"Oh right, I haven't done my things yet, it's all Kai's fault!"

He then ran away from the street.

Meanwhile, Hatake was battling Obito, the two constantly sparring in the simulation space of the Trial Tower.

Both sides have their wins and losses.

"Alright, let's stop here for now. I feel like we've done enough," Obito said, slightly out of breath.

Hatake nodded in agreement: "Alright, today's performance was indeed quite good."

The two have been sparring and training frequently lately, mainly because Obito has decided that his strength is somewhat weaker than Kakashi's, so he plans to have Hatake give him some extra training.

After all, Hatake came from the Anbu, and his strength is considerable.

When the two sparred, Obito won less often; Hatake usually won.

After each victory, Hatake would encourage Obito to continue fighting, and the two of them maintained this situation for more than a month.

Obito's progress was also quite significant, and with the added training he received from the Cloud Clan, his strength increased almost linearly.

"Then let's leave, it's almost time for dinner."

Hatake wasn't very hungry, but since Obito had already spoken, the two of them decided to leave the Trial Tower.

As soon as they came out of the tower, they saw Might Guy looking around the trial tower, searching for something.

"Kai? What are you doing?" Obito stepped forward and asked.

We were all ninjas of the same generation. Although we weren't exactly best friends, we did have some connections and acquaintances.

"It's Obito! I'm looking for Hatake! I want to spar with him! To see who's stronger, me or Kakashi."

After hearing this, Obito pointed him in the right direction: "He's right there. Go take a look. He just came out, but he's probably a little tired right now."

Following the direction Obito was pointing, Guy saw Hatake sitting on a platform near the tower, seemingly resting.

Might Guy immediately ran over: "Hatake! Are you free right now?"

Hatake looked up at Might Guy: "Ah, it's Guy. I'm fine right now. Is there something you need from me?"

In fact, Hatake had already thought of this. After all, in the Hidden Leaf Village of the other world, he was often sought out by Guy for sparring, so he was already used to it.

"Well, I'd like to challenge you to a duel, but I don't know if you'll have the time."
