【One Piece】Dawn in the Darkness

"I told you not to let her touch you, but you still reached out your hand." Lucci let go of his hand, looked at Luffy's pouting and aggrieved expression, and sighed helplessly. Every time he saw Luffy's aggrieved face, he couldn't help but soften his heart.

"I'm sorry!" Luffy shouted, throwing himself into Lucci's arms. "It's free food, after all."

"Even free food won't do." Lucci reached out and gently ruffled Luffy's hair. "Listen to me next time, okay?"

"Okay," Luffy said, pouting.

"Straw Hat Master, you'll eventually be defeated by your gluttony," Luo couldn't help but complain.

"No way!" Luffy snorted, wrapped his arm around Lucci's waist, and used his other hand to grab the top of the roof, launching him and Lucci up. "Up there!"

Law quickly caught up using his abilities, and the three of them stood together at the top of the palace. In front of them, Doflamingo was sitting on his throne with his legs crossed, his posture casual to the point of being lazy, as if he was just waiting for their arrival.

Lucci crossed his arms, his sharp eyes fixed on Doflamingo, who remained seated languidly, seemingly unconcerned about their arrival. But was that truly the case? Lucci watched Doflamingo's twitching fingers and a playful smile played on his lips. "I told you I'd come looking for you, didn't I?"

Doflamingo clenched his fingers instantly, but continued to grin, "Fufufu, what brings you all here?"

"I'm here to beat you to a pulp!" Luffy's angry eyes were fixed on Doflamingo.

"Same as above."

"I'm so disappointed."

Luffy frowned as he looked at the man lying at Doflamingo's feet. "Bellamy?"

"Fufufu, do you care about him a lot?" Doflamingo grinned. "Didn't you two fight in Mock Town before? When did you become so close?"

"What's past is past, let Bellamy go!" Luffy said seriously.

“Only the victor has the right to decide. This kid came here to die. Consider this a reckoning for what you did, Bellamy.”

Doflamingo sneered, "You participated in the arena tournament to become a member of the family, but you were utterly defeated."

"Although these reasons are enough to kill you, I gave you another chance. If you killed the Straw Hat, I would promote you to executive. You even lost your last chance. It is only natural that you were killed. Am I right, Bellamy?"

Doflamingo grabbed Bellamy's hair and said, "You presumptuously claimed to admire me, but when things don't go your way, you just give up on yourself. No matter how hard you try, you'll always just be a small-time hoodlum, Bellamy."

"What nonsense are you spouting! Bellamy has changed!" Luffy glared angrily at Doflamingo.

"Stop talking...just kill me already!" Bellamy coughed up blood and whimpered.

"Straw Hat Master, don't get angry with him. Disrupting the opponent's emotions is one of his usual tricks!" Law grabbed Straw Hat Master's figure as he was about to rush out, and said through gritted teeth as he looked at the smug Doflamingo.

"If you lose your composure, you'll die, just like I did in the first battle. He's a ruthless man, always watching for any opening you make!"

Doflamingo, standing atop Bellamy, lazily twisted his suspended fingers, flashing a maniacal grin at the crowd. "Cold-blooded? You actually have the nerve to say that..."

“I’ve been incredibly angry for a long time. Just think about all the good things you’ve done since you destroyed Punk Hazard, and now you’ve even unleashed all the toys in Dressrosa! And now you’ve even tried to take my life. There’s never been peace since you came to this island. It’s like you’re tasting the despair of 13 years ago!”

"If that incident hadn't happened, I wouldn't be standing in front of you like this!" Law glared angrily at Doflamingo.

"If that incident hadn't happened, you should be by my side as the third Corazon!" Doflamingo said with a twisted expression as he threw Bellamy, who was lying in his arms like a dead dog.

"Doflamingo! Let Bellamy go!!" Luffy kicked Doflamingo impatiently.

"Straw Hat Master!" Law tried to stop him. "Don't get angered by Doflamingo!"

"Let him go. His actions of provoking Luffy are only hastening his own descent into hell." Lucci stared at the sticky creature, surprised that its true form was so small.

Doflamingo, his face grim, glanced at the calm-looking Lucci, completely ignoring the impulsive attack on him by the Straw Hat Luffy. He grabbed Bellamy's head and pulled him in front of him to block Luffy's attack. Straw Hat Luffy was just a brat, and even if he was a dangerous brat, it was impossible to defeat him. There was only one person he feared.

"Ooh! I'm sorry, Bellamy!" Luffy exclaimed in a panic, pulling his foot back and apologizing for accidentally hitting Bellamy.

"Hehehe, hehehe, you actually kicked your dying comrade in the face! You hit him, you hit him... splat!"

In that instant, the air froze. Torrebol looked down in disbelief as layers of slime peeled off his body, staring in horror at the bloody holes that had appeared on his skin.

Doflamingo's sarcastic smile froze on his face, replaced by shock and confusion as he stared incredulously at Trebol's fallen body. "Trebol!"

“He’s too noisy.” Lucci tilted his head, looking at Trebol’s body, which he had pierced with his ability, and said in a low voice, “He’s also disgusting.”

Looking at the slime that had fallen to the ground and Trebol's thin, ugly body, Law unusually expressed his agreement, though he was puzzled as to how Lucci had dealt with Trebol, even though he had seen a small, thin figure appear behind Trebol. "Yours..."

"Lucci, you've already taken care of two!" Luffy interrupted Law, looking at Lucci with some dissatisfaction. "I have to be the one to take down Doflamingo!"

"I must deal with Doflamingo!" Upon hearing Luffy's words, Law immediately drew his sword, his eyes fixed on Doflamingo. "I must take care of him myself."

Lucci looked at the furious Doflamingo without answering, finding it amusing that the bastard had been trying to provoke them, only to find himself provoked first.

He hadn't originally intended to intervene, but that sticky guy was really disgusting. Ever since he saw that sticky, snot-like creature, he had been thinking about how they would deal with him.

He didn't want his sword to touch him, nor did he want Luffy to hit him, so using his own shadow to deal with him was indeed a good idea, although it would take a little time. But this move really caught Doflamingo off guard, after all, the shock and anger on his face were too obvious.
