【One Piece】Dawn in the Darkness

Chapter 581 You Can Do It

"We've arrived at our destination room in one go!" Cyrus said incredulously, leaning against the wall. He had never expected that they would reach their target location so easily.

"Wait a minute." Violet stopped Luffy, who was about to jump through the window to confront Doflamingo.

"Why are you hiding? Doflamingo is right there!" Luffy shouted in dissatisfaction.

"Keep your voice down, you idiot." Lucci couldn't help but slap Luffy on the head. "I haven't recovered yet. Do you want to fight all by yourself?"

"I can take down Doflamingo all by myself!" Luffy said, frowning. "He's the bastard I'm going to beat up."

"I'm going to beat him up too!" Lucci rubbed his cotton-like arm and said unhappily, "This time I won't let you have it, Luffy. That bastard made me end up like this, and I was tricked by that bastard Sabo. I'm going to get my revenge!"

"No, that's my enemy, and he makes me very angry too," Luffy retorted, equally dissatisfied.

"Then let me beat him up first, and then you can beat him to a pulp." A wicked glint flashed in Lucci's eyes. Although it was a bit of bullying, who told that bastard to mess with him?

"After you finish beating him up, then..." Luffy wanted to retort, but could he continue beating Lucci after he finished beating him up? But before he could finish speaking, he was interrupted by the toy soldier.

"I will definitely defeat Doflamingo!" the toy soldier said firmly.

"Quiet down." Violet saw the group about to start arguing over who would beat up Doflamingo and quickly stopped them. "You're all too loud. Calm down first. We need to wait until the operation is successful before we can move."

"Combat?" Luffy asked, somewhat puzzled.

"It means that Usopp, Franky, and the Tontatta tribe went together to destroy the factory and resolve the Sugar operation. My recovery signifies the success of the operation," Lucci explained. He knew that Luffy hadn't been paying attention to the plan Franky and Usopp were discussing over the Den Den Mushi.

"Oh, that's what combat is." Luffy nodded to show he understood; it was something that reminded him of Lucci's combat tactics.

"Your goal is the SMILE factory, that should be all." Doflamingo sat with his legs crossed, looking down at him. "But why would the Straw Hat Pirates team up with the Greenbit dwarves? This isn't something that can be done on a whim."

Hearing this, Luo looked up in confusion. "A dwarf?"

"How did they infiltrate the underground? Why did they attack Sugar? What's the deal with those people's actions?" Doflamingo gritted his teeth, veins bulging on his forehead. His questions were growing, and his plans were heading in an unknown and unfavorable direction.

“Everything they’ve done is against me. If this isn’t a coincidence, those guys already know the dark roots of this country.”

"Answer quickly! The young master is asking you a question, Luo!" Beby5 slapped Luo on the head and urged him on. The next second, she was frightened by Luo's fierce eyes, turned around and grabbed the water buffalo's clothes and cried.

"If you can't help but cry, then don't resort to violence," the buffalo quipped. "You guys are exactly the same as before."

“I think I’ve already said… they have nothing to do with me anymore, and the alliance is over.” Luo said expressionlessly. “I basically don’t understand what you’re saying.”

"Hmph, if Violet were here, she could find out the truth in the blink of an eye." Doflamingo turned to look at King Riku, who was tied to the ground. "Or perhaps you're the one pulling tricks behind my back... King Riku, the Tontatta tribe once served you."

"Looks like Trafalgar Law is still alive!" Luffy said, looking at Law who was tied to a chair.

"Not only are they alive, they seem to be doing quite well." Lucci couldn't help but complain. Sure enough, that guy Law knew the Don Quixote family, yet he told them he didn't.

It's likely that Law's initial target was Doflamingo, which explains why he was so obsessed with Doflamingo and why he still engaged in a direct battle with him even though he knew he couldn't defeat him.

Violet and Cyrus were puzzled as they looked at King Riku, who was tied to the ground in the room. Violet didn't understand why her father was there, while Cyrus was relieved that King Riku had been safe and sound for the past 10 years.

"Leo and the others haven't succeeded yet? Turning all the toys in Dressrosa, including me, back into humans." Kyros looked at his metal arm. "That moment was the greatest opportunity to defeat Doflamingo... I will definitely defeat him! I absolutely cannot let Kabu and the others sacrifice themselves in vain. Please, Leo, Usopp, Lando!"

"What's wrong? You look terrible." Lucci asked Violet, whose face had suddenly turned deathly pale. "What happened?"

"The little people of Tontatta were killed by Trebol, the highest-ranking official of the Donquixote Family." Violet's voice was filled with despair.

"What!" Cyrus exclaimed in alarm.

“My crew should stay with them,” Luffy said.

“Usopplando,” Cyrus replied.

“That’s right,” Violet replied, her voice tinged with disappointment, “but he…”

"Then let's wait a little longer." Luffy said with a determined smile, "With that guy around, there won't be any problems!"

“Usopp can do it,” Lucci replied with a smile.

……

Meanwhile, in the ruins of the underground trading port, within the cadre tower, only a handful of the SOP fighters remained, and the dwarfs and the toy bears controlled by Sugar once again engaged in battle.

At this moment, Robin stepped forward and used her Devil Fruit power to successfully control Trebol and Sugar. She tried to force Sugar to eat the special grapes, but just as she was about to succeed, her arm was unfortunately touched by Sugar's hand, and she was instantly turned into a toy and forgotten by everyone.

Robin looked at her doll-like arm and instantly realized that she had also been forgotten by everyone. Now only Usopp was left. Robin looked around with some worry. "It's all up to you, Usopp. Do your best and turn me back into a human!"

Meanwhile, Usopp, now carrying the weight of everyone's hopes, sighed with relief at his successful escape. As he sped up his run, he began to think about how to write a heroic manga about the brave Tontatta hero, how to escape, and what to say when he saw his friends again.

"It's good that I managed to escape, but where am I supposed to get out of here? I'm afraid I can't get through that hole I came from on my own. Oh right, wasn't there an elevator?" Usopp muttered to himself as he ran, trying to find an excuse for himself. "In the end, it's all because of Franky!"

"This is really bad, the enemy's abilities are just too strong..." Usopp thought to himself, considering what to say when he saw his companions.

"That was a life-or-death battle; that girl almost fell into my hands," Usopp thought to himself, but the words his friends had spoken on the Den Den Mushi kept flashing through his mind.

"Usopp, I'm counting on you. Turn me back into a human." His companion, now a doll, said to him with unwavering trust, "You can do it."

"I'm so useless!" Usopp wiped away his tears, his legs trembling uncontrollably as he ran away.
