【One Piece】Dawn in the Darkness

Ace immediately rushed to the railing to save Lucci, when he noticed an orange flame pass over him and catch Lucci's falling body in a stylish pose.

"His flames are indeed the coolest," Ace thought to himself, feeling smug and relieved. But before he could even relax for a second, he saw the man with flames on his lower body rushing straight into the sea as if he couldn't stop. Ace immediately jumped up angrily and shouted, "Lucci! What are you doing?!"

But as soon as he finished shouting, his already unsteady rubber feet went completely out of control, and he slipped and fell directly off the railing into the water.

Zoro and Sanji had already jumped into the sea to save Lucci and Ace. Usopp also jumped in after seeing Ace fall in to save Luffy. Franky hurriedly pulled Chopper and Brook back down, who were panicking and about to jump into the sea. "You two Devil Fruit users, don't jump in!"

"Where's Qi?" Robin noticed that Qi, who had just been standing there, had disappeared, and smiled thoughtfully. "Looks like he'll be affected now."

"What the hell are you three doing?!" Nami yelled angrily at the three brothers who had been rescued and were now collapsed on the deck. She was going crazy! And the first mate was just as unreliable!

“That’s completely wrong…” Ace (Lucci) stared blankly, sprawled on the wet deck, questioning his existence. “Is my talent really that bad? I can’t even control such a small flame…”

"What do you mean by a tiny flame..." Luffy (Ace) slapped Lucci's chest with his arm. "My flames are powerful! It's just that you have terrible control over your Devil Fruit ability."

"Ace, you're so heartless, you're so cruel as to hit your own body..." Ace (Lucci) pretended to cover his chest.

Luffy (Ace) rolled his eyes at Lucci's exaggerated performance.

"Don't make that face with Luffy's face..." Ace (Lucci) subconsciously reached out to Luffy's black hair, but was slapped away as soon as he touched it.

"What are you doing, Lucci? You're not trying to ruffle my hair, are you? Don't act like you're the boss!" Luffy (Ace) shouted in dissatisfaction.

"Who told you to be in Luffy's body now... unable to control yourself." Ace (Lucci) touched his nose sheepishly, then became self-righteous again, "Besides, I am your older brother now."

"Are you looking for a fight?" Luffy (Ace) glanced at Lucci.

"How is Luffy?" Sanji brushed his dripping hair back, lit another cigarette, and looked at Chopper, who was examining Luffy's body.

"I told him not to mess around..." Hearing Sanji's words, Ace (Lucci) ignored Ace's gaze, sat up, and sighed inwardly at his own disheveled state of complete unconsciousness. The side effects of this ability were still too great.

"It's exhaustion caused by the complete depletion of his Devil Fruit power," Chopper replied, looking at Lucci's (Luffy's) pale face, while somewhat puzzled as he tended to the wound that had suddenly appeared on Lucci's forehead. "He'll probably be unconscious for a while."

"Normally, the side effect is only a few hours of immobility, but I've never seen someone completely unconscious like this before..." Even so, Ace (Lucci) wasn't worried at all. He'd experienced something similar before, but it wasn't as severe as this time. And since he didn't need to fight now, even if there was a problem, the impact shouldn't be significant...

"Will there be any other problems?" Luffy (Ace) asked, looking at Lucci's body lying unconscious on the deck.

"I don't know, I'll probably feel a bit unwell when I wake up..." Ace (Lucci) yawned, his eyes starting to glaze over. "Your body is really..."

"Asleep!?" Everyone exclaimed in surprise as they looked at Ace's body, which had suddenly fallen asleep on the deck.

"It's nothing, just a narcolepsy attack," Luffy (Ace) explained, looking thoughtfully at his suddenly asleep body. "It seems the narcolepsy is due to a physical condition."

"Do you need me to prepare some medicine for you?" Chopper asked, looking at Ace's body, who had suddenly fallen asleep.

"No need, Marco got me some medicine, but I didn't bring it with me this time," Ace explained with a smile, then frowned upon noticing the wound on Lucci's forehead. "Is this guy hiding another wound?"

"Hidden?" Chopper looked at Ace in confusion.

"Ah, this guy has a bad habit. He always takes advantage of his Devil Fruit ability to temporarily transfer wounds and likes to do whatever he wants." Ace reached out and unbuttoned Lucci's wet clothes. "While we're at it, Chopper, check if he has any wounds that haven't been treated yet."

"This absolutely won't do." Chopper said seriously while tending to Lucci's exposed wounds. "I'm the ship's doctor, and I have to ensure the health of every crew member!"

"So I'll have to trouble you guys to take good care of my stubborn brother," Luffy (Ace) said with a smile, looking at the Straw Hat crew.

“Of course, he’s our first mate.” Zoro’s lips curled up slightly, a smile playing on his lips, as he recalled the same words from two years ago.

"That's right, but could you please not say that in Luffy's body?!"

The Straw Hat crew all made sarcastic remarks when Ace said those words with Luffy's face.

Luffy (Ace) grinned, then looked at Law, who had been expressionless, and said, "Alright, please help us switch back."

Law looked at Ace expressionlessly, then absentmindedly stretched out his hand, "ROOM."

"Lucci, your ability is so cool!" As soon as he switched back, Luffy opened his eyes and shouted excitedly. Then, looking at Ace and Lucci sleeping on the deck, he instantly realized that their bodies had been switched back, and he was a little disappointed. He turned to the man standing in front of him expectantly and said, "Terra man, Terra man, can we do it again?!"

“I refuse!” Luo said without hesitation; he never wanted to see that chaotic scene again.

"Hey, let's do it one more time!"

"I reject."

"Traman is so stingy!"

"Luffy, Lucci can't keep messing around like this." Chopper said while tending to Lucci's wounds, upon hearing Luffy's words.

"Stop doing anything reckless!" Nami clutched her forehead, her head aching. "Go and rest!"

"Yeah, Luffy, both of your brothers are asleep," Usopp said, putting his arm around Luffy's shoulder. He really didn't want to see that chaotic scene again, especially since they didn't know when the enemy would appear.

“Okay.” Luffy nodded reluctantly, but Ace and Lucci were indeed asleep, so he couldn’t keep changing them. “Then let’s sleep together.”

The Straw Hat crew breathed a sigh of relief and went about their business after saying goodnight. Zoro glanced at Law, who was resting on the other side with his sword in his arms, and then found a spot on the deck to sleep.

Nami and Robin took Momonosuke to take a bath. Sanji, Brook, and Kin'emon, upon hearing Nami's words, immediately followed out of jealousy, each telling Nami and Robin that they would take Momonosuke to take a bath as well.

Chopper and Usopp, dressed in samurai attire, paced nervously on the deck, weapons in hand, while Luffy lay fast asleep on his two brothers.
