【One Piece】Dawn in the Darkness

"It looks like there are two guys waiting for us." Lucci calmly looked at the two enemies outside who were confronting General Franky.

“Water Buffalo! And you... are you BABY5?” Luo recognized the two people instantly.

"Law! Are you really going to mess with the Joker?" Baby5 shouted at Law, who was standing with the Straw Hat crew on the railcar.

"You traitorous bastard! The Joker even sacrificed the Hearts seat for you..."

"Huh? Who are they? Are they your friends?" Luffy looked at the two guys shouting at them with a puzzled expression.

"No." Luo, carrying his knife, said with a grim expression and a firm tone, "They are the enemy!"

"They've all gathered together, and with the G5 navy too, our situation is bad!" Buffalo frowned as he looked at the situation below. "Caesar is already in their hands, this is unfavorable!"

"In short, the young master is already on his way, and we need to hurry up and report to him."

"Oh, they got away!" Luffy grinned.

"Leave it to me. Dealing with flying enemies is a sniper's job!" Usopp puffed out his chest confidently.

"I've been so focused on running away that I haven't really had a chance to fight yet," Nami said confidently, hoisting her Clima-Tact.

"An enemy who has lost the will to fight and is far away is not worth fearing at all!"

"Leave all the heavily wounded enemies who turned and fled to us!"

Nami and Usopp straightened their backs confidently and shouted in unison.

Zoro looked at Nami and Usopp speechlessly; these two only showed such confidence at times like this.

"Here, have some water." Usopp grinned, preparing his slingshot. "Black Kabuto with Big Herbivore! Load!!"

Nami also began her operation, twirling the Weather Stick between her fingers. Looking at the distant enemy, a cunning glint flashed in her eyes. "Go! Weather Egg!"

Thick, dark clouds instantly surged from the white egg ejected by the Weather Stick, quickly forming a massive thunderstorm cloud above the enemy's head. The lightning bolts flowing within resembled veins of pure power. A dazzling bolt of lightning burst from the sky, wielded by Nami like a dragon, striking the target with a devastating crackling sound. "Child of Thunder! Weather!!"

"Give them the final blow, Giant Herbivore!!" Usopp squinted through his goggles, aiming at the charred, plummeting enemy struck by raging lightning. "Decisive strike! Assault Meteor Shower!!"

Looking at the enemies who had been knocked down and were now on the tanker by Nami and Usopp, Luffy's face was filled with joyful pride. He grinned at Traverse Man and said, "Hehehe, how about that? My crew is pretty capable, isn't they?"

"Very good, the first phase is over."

"Tea Beard, are you planning to be arrested by the Navy?" Luffy asked, his arms crossed, looking at Tea Beard who was now handcuffed.

"I reckon we've all been subjected to small amounts of poison experiments... It's better to be in prison than to be controlled by Caesar. Besides, my comrades are gone. Thank you for exposing Caesar's true colors and for giving me the opportunity to avenge my comrades myself."

"Murder!! Someone has been killed!!"

"What's wrong, Chopper? What happened?" Luffy looked at the shouting Chopper with a puzzled expression.

"It's that Law!" Chopper shouted in terror and anger.

"Terraman?"

"Aaaaaah, I killed someone too!" Brook screamed in terror as he looked at the shattered body of Kin'emon. "I smashed Kin'emon to pieces!!"

"It's really broken!" Luffy and Sanji rushed over to check and exclaimed in horror as they looked at the stone statue that had been shattered into countless pieces.

“He’s up,” Lucci said calmly, watching the man sit up from the rubble.

“He wasn’t dead to begin with.” Qi looked at Kin’emon, who had sat up, and said thoughtfully, “It seems that the guards at the research institute who were engulfed by the poisonous fog were not poisoned to death either.”

"Kin'emon!!" Momonosuke rushed excitedly towards Kin'emon. "Father~ You scared me to death!"

"Huh? Momonosuke?" Luffy looked at the naked boy in confusion. "Is it that eel?"

Upon hearing Luffy's question, Lucci replied, "I just turned back into human form."

"Wow, that's amazing!" Luffy's eyes lit up.

"It's just a Devil Fruit." Ace patted Luffy's straw hat.

"Sanji's soup is getting better and better," Lucci said with a smile, looking at the huge pot that Sanji was stirring.

"It smells so good, it looks delicious!" Luffy floated over, looking expectantly at the food in the pot, circling around it. "Sanji, can we eat now? I want some!"

"Here! Stop wandering around here." Sanji took out a large bowl, scooped out a big spoonful of soup with meat from the pot and handed it to Luffy. Then he started serving soup to the people who had already started lining up, making sure that everyone had a bowl of soup to keep warm in this cold weather.

"Momo, eat up! Sanji's cooking is the best!" Luffy said, drooling as he drank his soup while looking longingly at the food on the table in front of Momonosuke and Kin'emon.

"...No! I don't need this kind of food!" Momonosuke said, holding up the soup in his hand with his eyes closed. "I'm not hungry at all!"

"Live on, Momonosuke!" Kin'emon shouted, tears streaming down his face, as he stuffed meat into his mouth.

"Is it so delicious I could cry?" Luffy poured the remaining meat and soup from the bowl directly into his mouth, chewing as he looked expectantly at the delicious food on the table.

"Wano Country, ah, it's been so long since I've been there." Ace sighed, looking at Momonosuke and Kin'emon's Wano Country attire. "I wonder how Tama and Yamato are doing."

"Although I've heard you talk about it twice, I've never actually been to Wano Country," Lucci said with a smile.

"Given Luffy's personality, he'll go soon," Ace said with a smile, but didn't reveal anything, since this was an adventure that Luffy and Lucci hadn't yet embarked on.

"Hey, Straw Hat, we should get out of here as soon as possible!" Law came out of the storage room and frowned as he looked at the leisurely Straw Hat crew. "If we keep eating so slowly, the pursuers will be here soon! Quickly tell your friends."

"Really? Okay! I got it!" Luffy nodded seriously, then stood on the wooden crate and shouted happily to the crowd below, "Brothers! Let's have a feast!!"

Law stared in shock at Luffy's actions, then felt a hand on his shoulder. Turning his head with a shrewd expression, he saw the pity on Lucci's face and became even more enraged. "What kind of expression is that!?"

“Well, what I was trying to say was that if you’re shocked by this level…” Lucci shook his head, feigning concern, but his eyes held undisguised mockery. “Then I can only congratulate you; your future days are going to be difficult.”

Law finally sensed that something was wrong. Looking at the willful Straw Hat leader and the cunning Lucci leader, Law instantly felt like he had been tricked and couldn't help but wonder if his alliance was really... reliable.
