【One Piece】Dawn in the Darkness

"Luffy, is it over?" Lucci blinked and asked Caesar, who had completely lost consciousness and collapsed in the ruins.

"I haven't beaten him enough yet!" Luffy looked at Caesar, who was lying unconscious in the ruins with his eyes rolled back. He had only punched him a few times, and the bastard was too weak to take a beating.

"Why don't I take care of him directly?" Ace said, knocking away the last guard and looking at Caesar, whose face was contorted in the ruins, with eager anticipation.

"Don't do anything rash, Fire Fist is in charge!" Law said angrily. He had just arrived when he heard Ace's words, "Our goal is to kidnap Caesar! Not kill him!"

"Traman!" Luffy grabbed Caesar from the ruins and excitedly greeted Traman, "I caught Caesar!"

“It seems there’s no Seastone.” Lucci said, looking at Caesar who seemed to be waking up. “He looks like he’s going to…”

Before Lucci could finish speaking, Luffy immediately punched Caesar, then grinned and said, "It's good you've woken up, I haven't had enough yet."

"Well done, Luffy." Ace gave Luffy a thumbs-up approvingly, then looked at Caesar, whom Luffy had casually tossed on the ground, and said eagerly, "Luffy, keep an eye on him and see if he wakes up again. If he moves, we'll beat him until he can't move anymore!"

"Alright!!" Luffy shouted excitedly, staring intently at Caesar. He hadn't had enough of beating this guy yet.

Lucci couldn't help but twitch his lips as he watched Caesar's increasingly terrified expression, but he didn't pay any attention to him. Even without the Seastone, this guy couldn't escape, especially since he was completely immobilized by Luffy's attack.

"Why did you arrest Caesar without taking the seastone handcuffs?" Law angrily moved the seastone handcuffs to the ground. "If he escapes, everything we've done will have been for nothing!"

"Now he won't get away!" Luffy immediately rushed forward to grab the seastone chain handcuffs. "Ah, I'm out of strength~"

Lucci helplessly covered his face. Before he could stop him, Luffy rushed forward.

"Idiot." Ace sighed and helplessly pulled Luffy up. "Don't forget you're a Devil Fruit user."

“I’ll do it.” Lucci sighed, released a shadow, and controlled it to bind Caesar.

"Your ability is really strange," Luo said, watching the shadowy figure disappear after binding Caesar.

"Isn't it strange that you're like this?" Lucci retorted. He remembered that Law had used his ability to cut through the Seastone chains, which proved that Law could cut through anything. Lucci thoughtfully stroked his chin and then looked at Law, commenting, "Your ability is really convenient."

"Lucci, there seems to be something down there." Ace frowned and looked at the ground beneath their feet. He sensed a very faint presence down there.

Hearing Ace's words, Lucci frowned and looked at the floor. "There is a life point, but it's very weak."

Upon hearing his brothers' words, Luffy flashed a bright smile, stretched his leg upwards, and slammed it into the floor at incredible speed. The next second, everyone lost their footing and plummeted straight down.

"Luffy!!" Ace shouted angrily as he fell into the crater.

"ROOM!" Luo realized what was happening during the fall and quickly used his skill just before reaching the ground to swap everyone with some things below, allowing them to land safely on the ground.

"What are you doing, Luffy?!" Ace shouted angrily at Luffy as soon as he landed.

“That’s more convenient.” Luffy smiled brightly, completely ignoring his brother’s angry shouts.

"Well, since we're already down here, let's see what that thing is," Lu Qi sighed helplessly.

"Ace, there's an eel here!!" Luffy excitedly pulled a long, thin object out of the darkness. "Grill it for me! It'll be delicious!!"

"This should be an immature snake," Ace corrected Luffy as he looked at the long, pink animal Luffy was holding, while extending his hand. "Give it to me, Luffy, I'll roast it."

"I am not food!" the snake in Luffy's hand suddenly shouted.

"Huh? An eel can talk!?" Luffy stared at the eel in his hand in disbelief, drooling.

"What are you?" Lucci looked at the talking animal with a puzzled expression. In the light of Ace's flames, they could clearly see its appearance. It was pink all over, with two small horns on its head and two whiskers around its mouth.

"Is this a dragon?" Luo frowned as he looked at the pink dragon coiled around the Straw Hat Master.

"Wipe your drool! I'm not an eel!" Momonosuke cried out in terror as Luffy kept drooling over him. "I am Momonosuke!"

"So you're that samurai's son." Upon hearing the name Momonosuke, Law instantly understood. Before he was cut into pieces, the samurai had called out this name to him more than once.

"What samurai?" Lucci asked, somewhat puzzled.

"It's that samurai Sanji saved, but unfortunately I can't have his leg." Luffy felt dejected as he thought about his lost, amusing leg.

“Then this thing can’t be eaten.” Ace raised an eyebrow, looking at the pink dragon on Luffy’s shoulder. “He must have eaten a Zoan-type Devil Fruit, so he should be able to turn back.”

"Ah, can't I eat it anymore?" Luffy said with some regret as he pulled the pink dragon coiled around him off.

"Alright, it's time to go up. Nami and the others should be here by now. We should head out." Lucci frowned, looking upwards, unable to see the cave entrance at all. He turned to Law, "Can you use your ability to get up there?"

"It's too high." Luo frowned as he looked up. "I wonder how high it is up there. If we go up a little more, it will be fine."

“I can fly up there,” Ace grinned as he looked up.

"Dragons can fly, right?" Lucci looked at the pink dragon lying on the ground with its tongue sticking out; it didn't look like a dragon at all.

"It can definitely fly!" Luffy excitedly shook the dragon on the ground. "Wake up, wake up!"

"what!!"

"What's wrong? What's wrong?" Luffy looked at Dragon, who suddenly shouted, with a puzzled expression.

Wow, it's flying!

Ace grinned as he watched Luffy fly away on his dragon, saying, "That dragon can really fly."

"Ace, you go up first." Lucci kicked Caesar, who was lying on the ground pretending to be unconscious.

"How did you get up there?" Ace asked Lucci, puzzled.

"He can use Moonwalk, allowing him to walk in the air." Lucci grinned, watching Luffy and the dragon fly away above. The dragon seemed a little unsteady on its feet. "Ace, can you fly up there with half your body covered in flames?"

“Of course.” Ace nodded, noticing the dragon’s unsteady figure, which looked like it was about to fall. “That dragon is really useless.” After saying that, Ace transformed into flames and rushed towards Luffy, catching Luffy just in time to catch him as he was about to fall.
