"Start closing in the net." Otto's voice was cold as he stood in the armored command vehicle.

On the snowy plain, the 10th and 11th Panzergrenadier Regiments were like two giant pliers, slowly closing in from the east and west. The camouflaged Panther tanks shook off the snow on their bodies, revealing their hideous gun barrels.

"The 10th Regiment will outflank them from the east," Otto ordered via radio, "and the 11th Regiment will cut off their retreat from the west. Don't give them any chance to break out."

The two armored regiments deployed in unison, forming a huge encirclement. They had been waiting on this snowy plain for a long time, waiting for this Russian armored unit to fall into the trap.

"Report to the division commander," the voice of Miller, the commander of the 10th Regiment, came, "The target is within range and can be fired at any time."

"The 11th Regiment is in position," another voice said, "the western blockade has been formed."

Otto sneered: "Let them see what a real siege is. Fire!"

In an instant, dozens of tank guns roared at the same time. The 215th Armored Regiment was caught off guard and suffered heavy losses.

"Compress the encirclement," Otto continued to command, "but keep the firepower balanced and don't give them a chance to find a breakthrough."

The Panther tanks began to tighten the encirclement, and the armored grenadiers were ready to fight. This was not a head-on confrontation, but a carefully planned annihilation war.

“They are attempting a breakout,” Miller reported, “and are pushing to the southeast.”

"As expected," Otto responded calmly. "The main force of the 10th Regiment stopped them, and the 11th Regiment continued to tighten the encirclement. Let them know that today this snowfield is their burial place."

Under Otto's command, the two armored regiments were like a precision machine, and every move was just right. This was the terrifying thing about the German armored forces, which not only had sophisticated equipment, but also had rigorous tactical qualities.

"Keep on striking," Otto observed the battlefield situation, "Don't give them a chance to breathe. Today, this armored regiment will be completely wiped out here."

"All regiments, charge!" Gorbachev roared, "Break out to the southeast! I would rather die in battle than be trapped to death!"

The T-215 tanks of the 80th Armored Regiment turned their turrets and charged at full speed in the direction of the th Armored Grenadier Regiment. Dozens of heavy tanks ran madly on the snow, their tracks stirring up the snow.

"Come on!" Captain Miller responded immediately, "Everyone, get ready for close-range armored combat!"

The distance between the two sides was rapidly shortened, from 2000 meters to 1000 meters, and then to 500 meters. At such a close distance, the armored battle became extremely brutal.

"Open fire! Don't be stingy with ammunition!" Gorbachev ordered. The T-80's 125mm main gun began to roar wildly, and dense shells rained down on the German positions.

"Hold on!" Miller commanded the Leopard tanks to line up to fight. "Don't be intimidated by their momentum! Aim and shoot!"

In the close-range battle, the encounter between tanks turned into a real death contest. A T-80 suddenly accelerated and tried to break through the defense line of the Panther tank, but it was greeted by three accurate armor-piercing shells.

"Break through! Keep breaking through!" Gorbachev's tanks also rushed to the front, "Follow me!"

A Panther tank blocked their way, and the two sides almost faced each other and started shooting. The T-80's shells hit the Panther tank's tracks, but the opponent's shells also hit its turret, which immediately caught fire.

"Don't fight too long!" Gorbachev continued to command, "Rush when you see a gap!"

But the 10th Armored Regiment's defense was extremely tenacious. The Panther tanks adjusted their positions, forming crossfire, turning the breakout channel into a death zone.

"They're courting death," Miller said calmly. "Keep firing!"

In the close-range armored battle, tanks were engaged in a back-and-forth battle, with the sounds of steel colliding and artillery shelling ringing out. The snow was dyed black by the artillery fire, and burning tank wreckage was everywhere.

A T-80 successfully broke through to the rear of the German position, but was immediately surrounded by three Panther tanks. In the dense artillery fire, this brave tank turned into a ball of fire.

"We have suffered heavy losses!" the correspondent reported to Gorbachev, "more than half of our personnel have been destroyed!"

But there was no way out. In this desperate close-range armored battle, the 215th Panzer Regiment was paying a heavy price in an attempt to open a bloody path. The th Panzer Grenadier Regiment used strict tactics and precise firepower to turn this breakout into a charge that was doomed to fail.

"Not good!" Gorbachev suddenly heard a loud explosion from behind, "Report the situation!"

"The 11th Regiment is closing the encirclement!" The communicator's voice trembled, "What's worse... the grenadiers of the Northern Division are using Panzerfaust anti-tank rocket launchers!"

The armored grenadiers approached quietly under the cover of the snow. The whistling sound of the Panzerfaust rocket launchers came one after another, accurately hitting the weak points of the armor.

"Trooplift No. 3 was hit!"

"Trucks 5 and 7 have lost power!"

"The armored vehicle formation was severely damaged!"

Bad news came one after another. BMP armored personnel carriers were paralyzed one after another under the attack of Panzerfaust rocket launchers, and thick smoke came out of the engine compartment. Without these armored personnel carriers, the 215th Armored Regiment lost its ability to maneuver and transfer.

“Damn it!” Gorbachev punched the bulkhead. “Evacuate the remaining troop carriers immediately. Don’t give them a chance to practice shooting!”

But it was too late. The grenadiers of the 11th Armored Regiment were skilled, and every shot hit the target accurately. They had obviously been specially trained to know how to approach stealthily in the snow and how to aim at the vital parts of the armored vehicles.

"We are trapped," the chief of staff said desperately, "without the support of personnel carriers, the tank group can't move forward..."

The Panther tanks of the 11th Regiment continued to advance, while the armored grenadiers appeared from the snow like ghosts, fired a fatal blow, and then quickly disappeared.

"Sir, we've lost more than half of our armored personnel carriers," the operator reported, "and the supply convoy has been... wiped out."

Gorbachev looked out the window at the battlefield, watching his proud mechanized troops gradually paralyzed by the encirclement of the Northern Division. Without the mobility of armored personnel carriers, they were like being nailed to the snowy plain.

"This is the Northern Division's tactic," he said with a wry smile, "First, we lose our mobility, and then we slowly strangle them..."

In the distance, the tanks of the 215th Regiment were closing in, while those terrible grenadiers were still cruising in the snow, looking for their next target. The mechanized advantage that the th Armored Regiment was proud of was completely destroyed in this carefully planned encirclement and suppression.
