HP Princess bravely enters Hogwarts

Chapter 161: To every girl who learns to be confident

When Ron was daydreaming, he found that the other party ignored him at all.

Suddenly, there was a commotion at the Slytherin table.

Viktor Krum stood up and strode towards the Gryffindor table in the surprised eyes of everyone.

Krum stood in front of Hermione.

This invincible seeker on the court now acts like a shy big boy.

"Hermione," his voice was trembling, "can I invite you to Hogsmeade... this weekend?"

There was an uproar.

Hermione opened her mouth and her cheeks turned red at a visible speed.

Krum lowered his head, twisting his fingers nervously together.

Merlin, this is the first time he has taken the initiative to ask a girl out, please make sure he gets what he wants.

Ron's expression suddenly turned ugly.

He stared at the back of Krum's head, his chest feeling like it was on fire.

Damn it, he clearly didn't have that kind of affection for Hermione, so why was he so upset?

Under Krum's expectant eyes, Hermione nodded slightly.

"I am very honored."

Krum's eyes lit up instantly.

He stared at Hermione's face, afraid that he had heard it wrongly.

"Really?"

Hermione pursed her lips, the corners of her mouth slightly raised.

"Ah."

It was just one simple word, but it made Krum's heart beat wildly.

He had to find Cygnus.

Now, immediately!

Cygnus was cutting a steak gracefully.

Her long platinum-blond hair fell on her shoulders, and her gray-blue eyes were filled with her usual indifference.

"Signus!"

Krum strode over, his voice filled with undisguised excitement.

She looked up and raised her eyebrows.

"Why? Rejected by Hermione?"

"No! She agreed!" Krum grinned, revealing a row of white teeth, "A date for the weekend!"

"so?"

"What should I wear?" Krum scratched his hair. "Muggle clothes? Or..."

"madness."

Cygnus interrupted him, a sarcastic smile on his lips.

"You are Viktor Krum, the star of Durmstrang."

She wiped the corners of her mouth slowly.

“Just be yourself.”

His eyes were fixed on Hermione's back.

She was still looking at Krum.

What's so good about that big guy?

He took a sip of pumpkin juice, but couldn't taste any sweetness.

"Ron?" Harry looked at him suspiciously.

"fine."

Ron uttered two words stiffly.

He clenched his fists.

Why?

Why should Krum date her?

But he didn't even have the courage to speak.

Hermione looked away and focused on the food in front of her.

Krum's invitation came unexpectedly.

but......

Maybe it’s a good idea to try?

She tilted her head slightly and caught a glimpse of Ron's flushed face from the corner of her eye.

He frowned.

What is he angry about?

Forget it, they are just from the same college and have no other relationship. Naturally, there is no need to consider his thoughts.

Under Ron's resentful eyes, Hermione swallowed the last bite of beef, then packed up her things and prepared to look for Seconas.

He didn't realize he had shouted, and by the time he came to his senses, his fingers had already grasped the hem of Hermione's robe.

Hermione turned back, her brows raised slightly.

"Please tell Sensei that I saw Selwyn handing a bottle of silver potion to little Malfoy yesterday."

After saying that, he quickly let go of his hand, sat back as if he was scalded, lowered his head and picked up the food on the plate as if nothing had happened just now.

Hermione paused for a moment, looking thoughtful, then smiled at Ron.

"Thank you, Ron."

After saying that, he turned and walked towards the Slytherin table.

With his mouth full of food, he stared blankly at Hermione as she walked towards the Slytherin table, his heart beating inexplicably faster.

She actually smiled at him?

Not far away, Krum was talking to Senseus, and Hermione was walking towards them.

Ron clenched his fists, then slowly unclenched them.

He cringed! What on earth was he expecting?

Cygnus looked at Ron's eager expression and nudged Krum teasingly.

"Victor, you have many rivals in love."

Krum followed her gaze and met Ron's burning gaze which he could not retract in time.

"Love rival?" Krum smiled, and raised the cup of pumpkin juice with his rough fingers. "No, Cygnus, in the Quidditch game of love, your only opponent is yourself."

He tilted his head back and drank the pumpkin juice in the glass.

"Hermione is not the Golden Snitch. She will not belong to anyone just because she flies faster. She is free, just like the mermaid in the Black Lake, she only follows her own song."

Segnus was slightly stunned, then chuckled: "Merlin, when did you become such a philosopher?"

Krum didn't answer, his eyes passing through the flickering candlelight and landing on Hermione who was walking towards them.

At that moment, his resolute face softened.

“I just,” he whispered, “learned to respect which way the wind blows.”

Hermione happened to walk up to the table at this moment and looked at the two of them in confusion.

"what are you guys saying?"

Cygnus shook her head and glanced meaningfully at the Gryffindor table.

"We're saying, there's a girl who's really attractive."

“It’s really addictive.”

Hermione was so smart that she knew what she meant. In the past, she might have blushed shyly, but now she generously sat in the seat that Sensei had vacated for her.

"You told me, Cygnus, that people who are good enough deserve the best."

Hermione today is no longer the girl who always doubted herself.

At this moment, she is like a pearl, exuding a confident charm.

Cygnus raised the glass of orange juice towards Hermione and said, "To every girl who finds her confidence after being lost."

"To every night you stay up late in the library," Hermione raised her cup slightly, "to every time you persist after being questioned."

Krum's cup suddenly slammed down hard, nearly splashing pumpkin juice onto Hermione's robes.

"To the bravest Gryffindor and the most alert Slytherin!" His English was still heavily accented, but his eyes were so blazing that they could not be ignored.

There were sporadic laughs from around the Slytherin table.

Several junior students secretly looked over here, looking at the girl who was once mocked by them as a "mudblood", and now even the eldest daughter of the Malfoy family raised a glass to her.

Hermione took a sip of the orange juice calmly, the sweet and sour taste blooming on the tip of her tongue.

Now she is no longer at a loss for what to do about such teasing, but enjoys the feeling of being cherished.

Across the hall, Ron's gaze was nearly burning a hole in Krum's back.

He chewed the sausage viciously, but could not taste anything.

"Eat slowly, Ron." Ginny couldn't help but remind him, "If someone didn't know, they would think you had a grudge against sausages."

Hermione turned her head as if she had noticed something, and met Ron's gaze which he had not yet had time to look away.

She nodded slightly and gave a polite but distant smile.

This smile made Ron feel like a lump in his throat.

He suddenly realized that Hermione, who had paid attention to his emotions and helped him to improve his knowledge, was now out of his reach.
