The towering wall of Qincheng Prison is more than ten meters high, like an indestructible fortress.

Looking from the outside, you can clearly see three extremely heavy iron gates arranged in sequence inside the wall. Each gate seems to symbolize the solemnity and mystery of this prison.

Their trip was not an ordinary visit, but a difficult task of digging up an extremely important anti-corruption clue.

You must know that those who can be imprisoned in Qincheng Prison are by no means ordinary criminals.

?Those detained here are often high-ranking officials in powerful state agencies.

Before they were brought down, their job levels were usually no lower than vice-ministerial level.

Since relevant data began to be collected in 2004, no less than a hundred senior officials holding vice-provincial level or above positions have been detained here.

It is sad to see these people, who were once powerful and possessed enormous power and resources, now behind bars.

Compared with ordinary prisons, the facilities of this prison can be said to be quite advanced.

Each cell is not only equipped with an independent bathroom, but also uses advanced automatic toilet technology, which greatly facilitates the daily life of prisoners.

In addition, there is a special library for prisoners to borrow books to enrich themselves; televisions are installed in each room so that they can keep abreast of the latest information from the outside world; what is more worth mentioning is that the prison also has complete fitness facilities to meet the prisoners' physical exercise needs.

Due to the special nature of the prisoners it detains and the relatively superior environmental conditions, this prison has a unique and prominent position in the minds of the general public and is therefore known as "China's No. 1 Prison."

At the same time, Qincheng Prison is the only prison in the country that is directly under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Public Security. This special status undoubtedly further highlights its importance and authority.

Officials working in various central ministries in the capital who were imprisoned for suspected duty crimes were usually sent to Yancheng Prison for punishment and reform.

Yancheng Prison is an important prison directly under the Ministry of Justice. It is located in Yanjiao Town, Langfang City, Hebei Province.

The inmates held in this prison, which is directly under the management of the Ministry of Justice, can be divided into three main categories based on the nature of their crimes and their identity background: the first is ordinary criminal offenders; the second is criminals involved in duty crimes; and the third is foreign criminals.

It is worth mentioning that Chinese Football Association officials such as Xie Moulong, Nan Mouyong and Yang Moumin, who have been sentenced according to law, are now also imprisoned here.

After observing the actual operation over the years, it was found that most of the officials from central ministries and commissions detained in Yancheng Prison were corrupt cadres below the department level.

If it involves cadres at the department level or above, especially vice-ministerial or even higher-level officials, if they are eventually sentenced and need to serve prison terms for duty crimes, then usually these people will be transferred to the notorious Qincheng Prison to serve their sentences.
