Resisting the fatigue in his body, Zeng Wenyu asked the people around him: "How...how is it?"

Without answering his question first, Hua Wu Yue picked up the water cup on the table, stood up and walked to Zeng Wenyu, let him lean on her, took out a handkerchief to wipe the sweat on his head, and fed him some of the water in the cup: "Do you have any other secrets?"

"Secrets? Everyone has their own secrets. There are some things I can tell you, and some things I can't tell you. Which secret are you asking about?"

Hua Wu Yue did not push him away from her, but just adjusted her sitting position to let Zeng Wenyu lean on her more comfortably: "Forget it, if you don't want to tell us the secret, we won't get it out no matter how much we ask. Wait until you are willing to confess to us."

After saying this, Hua Wu Yue told Zeng Wenyu about the shadow that had just appeared behind him. Although Zeng Wenyu really wanted to figure out what the shadow was, due to physical fatigue, his brain worked very slowly.

Gently smoothed Zeng Wenyu's frown: "Don't think too much. Since the phantom has such great power that we can't even think of resisting, and he didn't harm you in your body, it means he has no ill will towards you, otherwise you would not be yourself long ago."

"Yes, Sister Hua is right. You should take a good rest first. When you recover, we can study together what the phantom is."

The three women in the tent were all persuading him, and Zeng Wenyu naturally would not refuse. He nodded, closed his eyes, and fell asleep leaning on Hua Wu Yue's body.

"This is where?"

Zeng Wenyu had never seen the place before. He was the only one in the entire space. Moreover, colors seemed to have lost their meaning in this place. Even black and white could not be seen.

"anyone there?"

Zeng Wenyu shouted, but unfortunately there was not even an echo here, and it was impossible for anyone to answer his question.

He chose a direction and walked all the way. He didn't know how long he had been walking. It seemed like a few months? Or a few years? Anyway, he felt that time had no meaning here.

After walking forward for who knows how long, Zeng Wenyu's ears keenly caught a hint of sound, which sounded like Sanskrit, but it did not have that kind of compassion. He could hear that the Sanskrit sound, which should have been compassionate, was filled with hostility.

Walking in the direction where the sound came from, the sound gradually became louder, and Zeng Wenyu finally heard the sound clearly. The sound was Sanskrit, but the hostility in the Sanskrit was also present. But for some reason, he always felt that the Sanskrit and the hostility were not inconsistent, but rather a very subtle balance.

Continuing to move forward, other sounds began to appear in the gradually grand Sanskrit chanting. They were the sounds of shouting and killing. Although the sounds were very faint, they were still caught by his ears.

As the distance got closer, a blurry figure appeared in front of Zeng Wenyu, and more strange creatures were madly attacking the figure. Unfortunately, the figure did not move and allowed the flames around him to spread, burning the creatures close to him to ashes.

When he got closer, the figure became clearer and Zeng Wenyu realized that it was not a "person". After all, which "person" could bear the raging fire?

"Those who see my body develop bodhicitta, those who hear my name abandon evil and practice good deeds, those who hear my Dharma gain great wisdom, and those who know my mind will become a Buddha."

Although he didn't know who the person in front of him was, Zeng Wenyu knew that he must be a Buddha, a rarely seen Buddha. However, he didn't dare to get too close. The raging fire behind the Buddha was extremely hot. Even from a distance, he could feel the heat wave.

I don’t know how long it took, but those strange creatures that were not afraid of death were all burned to death by him. There were no more creatures rushing towards him. The flames on his body condensed and the temperature dropped.

As a Buddha, he had long noticed Zeng Wenyu who had been watching him from behind. The stone seat beneath him turned and moved his body towards Zeng Wenyu. Only then did Zeng Wenyu see his front.

The Buddha in front of you is sitting on a flat stone seat. His whole body is blue and he looks like a child. He has seven buns on his head, and his braids hang down on his left shoulder. His left eye is closed, his lower teeth are biting his upper lip, and his face has an angry expression. Flames are burning in the void behind him.

He held a sharp sword in his right hand and a rope in his left hand, and seemed to be very troubled.

When Zeng Wenyu saw this front-facing Buddha, for some reason the name "Ajātaṇa" suddenly appeared in his mind, as if the Buddha in front of him was called this name.

When he saw Zeng Wenyu, the Azarakhan in front of him seemed to have seen some incredible person. The flames behind him converged, and with a soft golden light appearing, the originally blue Azarakhan's body gradually turned golden. A sun appeared behind him, and his image also changed. A five-Buddha crown appeared on his head, and his whole body was adorned with jewels.

"Vairocana Buddha."

Another name appeared in Zeng Wenyu's mind. He was not familiar with the name Ajātaṇa, but he was very familiar with the name Vairocana Buddha. After all, before he traveled through time, he was also a person who liked to read novels. This name was mentioned in many Buddhist Buddhas described in novels, and he was also familiar with Vairocana Buddha.

The Vairocana Tathagata in front of him stood up, put his hands together and bowed in the direction of Zeng Wenyu. Zeng Wenyu could clearly feel that the Vairocana Tathagata was not actually bowing to him. It was obvious that when He looked at him, He was not looking at him.

"God is merciful!"

This was the second time Zeng Wenyu heard the Vairocana Tathagata speak on his own initiative. The previous time he spoke was to save those strange creatures, but this time he spoke to express compassion to someone in his body.

"Buddha, do you know something? The phantom that appeared in my body..." Zeng Wenyu just opened his mouth to ask, but the body of the Great Sun Tathagata in front of him gradually dissipated. He hurriedly shouted, "Who is that phantom?!"

Mahavairocana did not directly answer his question, but left a sentence before disappearing: "All appearances are false. If you see that all appearances are not appearances, you will know your true self."

"Huh? Buddha, can't we just stop talking about Zen? The first part of your words was from the Diamond Sutra, but in the end, didn't you change "seeing the Tathagata" to "knowing my true self"? Buddha, can't you just tell me directly?"

"Buddha said: It cannot be said."

"..." Zeng Wenyu was helpless. Looking at the Vairocana Tathagata who had completely disappeared in front of him, he was silent for a while and then waved his fist fiercely, "So I hate the Riddler the most!"

"But it's not without gain. Just now, He said that the Heavenly Venerable is merciful. The one who can be called the Heavenly Venerable and can make the Great Sun Tathagata take the initiative to pay respects to him must not be the Heavenly Venerable of Buddhism whose status is lower than His. It can only be the Taoist side, Taishang? Lingbao? Yuanshi?"
