Became good friends with the Boy Who Lived

Chapter 104 Warriors Campaign

The next morning, the entrance hall was unusually lively. Many students were holding slices of bread with thick jam on them, chewing them while waiting to see who would put their names into the Goblet of Fire.

"Has anyone put their name in the Goblet of Fire?" Ron asked a Hufflepuff girl.

"I saw the representatives from Durmstrang put their names into the Goblet of Fire," the girl said, "but I haven't seen anyone from Hogwarts sign up yet..."

With the Goblet of Fire as the center, the area within ten feet was surrounded by a golden circle. Aeris felt that the golden circle was what Professor Dumbledore said: the age limit.

"If it were me," said Ron, "I would put my name into the Goblet of Fire in the middle of the night. It would be very embarrassing if the Goblet of Fire spat out my name in public."

At this moment, Fred and George came running over, shouting and yelling, with indescribable smugness on their faces.

"My fellow countrymen, we succeeded! Hahaha..." Fred said proudly.

"Please bless us, we have prepared the aging agent!" George said with the same pride.

The students who were watching applauded in unison.

A discordant voice suppressed all the booing, "You won't succeed!" Hermione said with an unusually firm tone.

The twins walked towards Hermione with a haughty manner and stood on either side of her.

"Oh? What's Miss Know-It-All's opinion?" Fred asked seriously.

Hermione pointed to the age line that surrounded the Goblet of Fire and said faintly, "The age line was drawn by Professor Dumbledore."

"So?" George asked nonchalantly.

"So, I don't think a great wizard like Professor Dumbledore would not consider a few drops of aging potion." Hermione said as a matter of course.

"Maybe he just didn't think of it..." Fred said with a smile.

"Okay, Fred, stop wasting time. It's time to let Miss Know-It-All see what we seniors are capable of," said George.

Fred and George ignored Hermione and walked to the edge of the age limit. From their pockets, each of them took out a small glass bottle with some liquid in it.

"Are you ready, George?" said Fred.

"Of course Fred!" George said, and the two of them said in unison: "Drink it in one gulp!"

The twins shook the small bottle in their hands a few times, opened the cork, and poured the liquid in the bottle into their mouths as if drinking a wedding wine.

The two of them thought about it for a while, then jumped into the age boundary together. When they found that nothing happened, they became even more proud.

After performing well in front of everyone for a while, Fred and George walked to the Goblet of Fire. Just as they were about to put the parchment with their names on it into the Goblet of Fire, there were two loud "pops!" and Fred and George were like kites with broken strings, as if they were blown away by something.

The twins fell awkwardly on the cold ground in the distance. Not only that, Fred and George grew long, snow-white beards, and their originally fiery red hair also turned snow-white.

Everyone burst into laughter. Fred and George sat up with difficulty. After seeing each other's expressions, they seemed a little angry and embarrassed.

"Blame you!" Fred yelled!

"Blame you!" George also yelled!

The two people started to wrestle with each other, and the students around them began to applaud and make noises.

At some point, Professor Dumbledore stood beside Aries and also clapped and cheered. Noticing Aries's strange look, Professor Dumbledore coughed twice.

"Separate the left and right~" Professor Dumbledore waved his hand, and Fred and George, who were struggling, separated.

"I warned you," Professor Dumbledore said with a smile, "Go to Madam Pomfrey. She is already nursing several students, but I have to say that the beards of the two of you are much more beautiful than those of the students in the hospital wing combined."

Led by their best friend Lee Jordan, Fred and George went to the school hospital dejectedly.

People were still laughing, and Ron was laughing so hard that he fell backwards. Aries pulled him and said, "That's enough," Aries said with a smile, "You've been hungry for a long time, let's go eat!"

At the dining table, Seamus and Dean were discussing who might become the Hogwarts Warrior. Harry and Ron also came over and joined the discussion. Aeris and Hermione sat not far away, enjoying breakfast while listening.

There were cheers and applause from the entrance hall, and Angelina Johnson, a sixth-grade student from Gryffindor, walked over shyly.

This is a tall, dark-skinned girl, a chaser for the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Angelina sat not far from Hermione and said excitedly, "I put my name in the Goblet of Fire."

"You're kidding?" Ron said in surprise. Hermione rolled her eyes at Ron in dissatisfaction.

"Good luck, Angelina," Hermione said sincerely, "I'm glad someone from Gryffindor is in attendance."

"Thank you, dear!" Angelina smiled sweetly and started to enjoy her breakfast.

"I don't want it to be that greasy Cedric Diggory," Seamus said glumly, ignoring the glares from the Hufflepuffs. "I really want it to be one of our Gryffindors."

After breakfast, Ron rubbed his full stomach and asked casually, "Where are we going?"

"How about going to see Hagrid?" suggested Harry.

"I hope he won't ask us to help him take care of the skrewts," Aeris said darkly.

"Maybe I can ask Hagrid to join SPEW and wait for me for a while..." Hermione said with shining eyes, and then ran towards the Gryffindor Tower.

"Is she crazy?" Ron muttered absentmindedly.

"Hey, Ron," said Harry teasingly, "it's that girl you like..."

Aeris, Harry, and Ron came to the entrance hall. The students of Beauxbatons, led by Madame Maxime, were putting their names into the Goblet of Fire one by one.

"What do you think, will those who are not selected in Beauxbatons and Durmstrang stay? Or will they go back?" Ron asked in a low voice.

"She'll probably stay," Harry said, "Madame Maxime will still be the referee, right?"

"Indeed," said Aris, "someone has to cheer, right?"

Ron wanted to say something when Hermione came running back in a hurry. "Let's go, let's go see Hagrid!" Hermione said happily.

Ron kept his eyes on the back of the Veela girl until all the students of Beauxbatons got into their big carriage.

The Beauxbatons carriage stopped in an open space two hundred yards away from Hagrid's hut. Hagrid had fenced off an enclosure for the Pegasus ponies, who were munching on the hay that Hagrid had carefully prepared for them with relish.

Norrington lay beside Hagrid's hut, yawning leisurely. Aeris went over to stroke his dragon scales, but Norrington just raised his eyelids and ignored Aeris, as if he wanted to take another nap.

Harry knocked on the door of Hagrid's hut. Fang's barking was heard. Hagrid opened the door and greeted them warmly: "You little bastards, have you forgotten where I live?"

"We are so busy..." Hermione was so surprised that she was speechless when she saw Hagrid.

Hagrid's current outfit is hard to describe: a fuzzy brown suit, a yellow and orange checked tie, his usually messy hair parted in a funny way, and his beard clearly clumsily groomed.

Aeris looked at Hagrid meaningfully and said quietly, "Madame Maxime is really nice, isn't she, Hagrid?"

Hagrid's cheeks, which were exposed outside his hair and beard, turned red, and he stammered, "Yes... yes... Olym is really... really good..."

"Are you guys calling each other so affectionate now?" Aeris asked incredulously, "Will she also call you Rubeur?"

"No...no...don't talk nonsense..." Hagrid stammered in denial.

Everyone entered Hagrid's hut, which was the same as before, with all kinds of things piled haphazardly against the wall.

Hagrid invited everyone to sit down and began to make tea. Harry and Ron wanted to ask more about what happened between Hagrid and Madame Maxime, but Hagrid kept chattering about the Triwizard Tournament.

Lunch was eaten in Hagrid's hut. Hagrid cooked a big pot of steak chowder. Hermione fished out a claw from the soup. She didn't know what creature it was. Harry and Ron had lost their appetite. Only Aries was chewing the meat in the soup with relish.

Aeris fed the claw of some unknown creature to Yaya, who chewed it with relish.

After lunch, Aris, Harry and Ron sat comfortably around the fireplace. Hagrid was mending his clothes while discussing house-elves with Hermione.

After Hagrid refused to join "SPEW", Hermione seemed a little annoyed. It started to drizzle outside. At around 5:30, Aeris, Harry and the other three prepared to say goodbye and return to the castle for the Halloween dinner.

"I'll go with you," said Hagrid, "wait a minute..."

Hagrid rummaged through the shelves, pulled out a large bottle, and sprayed some of the contents on his face.

A pungent smell entered Aeris' nose, and he took a few steps back. So did Harry, Hermione, and Ron. They all covered their mouths and noses tightly.

"Oh my god!" Aeris said sullenly, "What is this, Hagrid? This smell, wow! It can act directly on the brain..."

"Cologne..." Hagrid said shyly, "Did I spray too much?" Hagrid began to wash his face again.

After washing his face, Hagrid looked through the window and saw Madame Maxime and her students getting out of the carriage. He ignored Aeris, Harry and the others and walked out the door and walked towards Madame Maxime.

The companions looked at each other in bewilderment. Hermione said angrily, "Hagrid dressed himself up so that he could go to the castle with Madame Maxime? I thought he was worried about us. Really..."

The four of them went out and closed the door of the cabin. Norrington seemed to have gone to the Forbidden Forest to find food, and Aeris did not see him around.

Looking at Hagrid who was walking away, Ron said in disbelief: "Hagrid has fallen in love with Madame Maxime? Look at how distracted he is. It's really... unbelievable..."

On their way to the castle, Aeris and Harry met students from Durmstrang. Led by Headmaster Karkaroff, they walked straight towards the castle like a small army, without looking around.
