Blending of Planes: I am leisurely farming

Chapter 237 Gast's Reminder

After seeing Jinjier off, Sean went back to the house to play with Feiyu and the mine cart, enjoying the rare leisure time.

Suddenly, there was a noise outside the door again. According to the image sent back by Noah, it turned out that Gast had returned.

"Strange. He was hiding from everyone just now, but now he comes to my house. Could something have happened to Jin Jier?" Sean muttered and hurried out.

Gast was still wearing the same outfit. It was obvious at first glance that the suit he was wearing was very expensive, and he didn't care whether he could move around freely in the wilderness.

Seeing Sean knocking on the door before him, he was stunned for a moment but he covered it up well.

"Okay, that's a coincidence." He stood still and looked at Sean seriously, "Sean, there are some things I need to make clear to you."

This is? Did I offend him?

Sean was so surprised that his hand was on the doorknob, not even having time to say a word of courtesy.

"I know Jingjing (Jingjing is Jin Jier's nickname, and everyone in the family calls her that) has chosen you, but don't think that you have gained a talisman because of this. Take care of your private affairs. I don't want to see Jingjing get hurt."

So that's what happened. I thought it was something else. Sean realized that this was to bypass Jin Jier and give him a beating.

When facing the warning from your future brother-in-law, you must stand at attention and be sincere when being beaten.

Sean looked at Gast seriously: "Gaster, don't worry, I won't let Jinjier get hurt."

After listening to Sean's assurance, Gast frowned slightly, obviously dissatisfied: "Humph, I hope you can do what you say. My sister's body can't stand it."

"Alas, I don't know if my decision to bring her to see you was the right one." He sighed in his heart, turned around and looked at the moonlight in silence.

There was silence for a long time. In order not to stand there like a clown, Sean also went out and looked at the night together.

"I heard that one of your fertilizer products has caught the attention of Joja Corporation?"

"Yes, it's just a small matter. I've dealt with it."

"Don't take it lightly. There's a lot behind the Joja Group." For some reason, perhaps out of consideration for his sister, Gast kindly reminded her.

"I know. I know what the Joja Group is going to do for those votes. Anything that stands in his way will be crushed by him." Sean stretched out his hand and flipped through the pages in the moonlight.

"But I don't care. Can I get temporary comfort by just avoiding, giving in, and compromising?"

"A place where people you know live is called a 'town'. I like this place. My relatives and friends live here. I know the purpose of the Joja Group and I can't just sit there and watch the evil hand drag the townspeople into the abyss without doing anything."

"And it's not that we have no chance of winning. The evil hand cannot cover the sky with one hand, otherwise it would not carry out secretly in the name of investment. This world is much deeper than what you and I observe." He clenched his fist and slammed it to the ground.

"Excuse me, I don't see where your confidence comes from." Gast looked at Sean suspiciously, as if he wanted to see through him.

"Is it those new gadgets? To be honest, with those gadgets, the external channels are controlled by them. No matter how good the quality is, they can't be promoted without relevant endorsements. Even if they can't compete with you in the market, they have 10,000 ways to kill you behind the scenes."

"I know it very well, but it's challenging precisely because it's difficult. Do you want to try it together?" Sean looked at Gast with a smile.

Gast's mouth twitched a few times when he heard that. He almost couldn't hold it in. He was furious: "I told you that the Joja Group is powerful, and you still want to drag me into it."

But his face was very calm: "Not impossible. I learned from Robin that the special material used to build the bridge was your work. As an architectural designer, I am very interested in that material. I can reach a cooperation with you in my personal capacity."

Sean's heart moved. The fish he had revealed to Robin about how to catch had finally been hooked.

He showed an embarrassment on his face. "Gaster, it's not that I don't want to cooperate, but the current production of that material is insufficient, and the production process is extremely complicated and requires a lot of time and energy."

It's good that you are interested. Just whet your appetite first. Once the production problem is solved, it will be time for you to join the network.

Gast frowned, obviously not quite believing Sean's words: "Is it really just insufficient production? That's a pity."

Sean looked at Gast sincerely, "Gaster, I didn't lie to you. There are indeed many difficulties at the moment. However, I am also trying to find ways to solve these problems. It won't be too late for us to cooperate again if there is a chance in the future."

Gast sighed helplessly: "Well, opportunities don't wait for anyone. It seems that I have no chance."

Silence fell between the two again, with only the sound of the night wind blowing.

In the conversation just now, Sean's persistence and confidence made him look up to him a little bit, because he was also such a person, but Sean was not as flamboyant and outspoken as him.

"Sean, how serious are you about Jingjing?" Gast asked suddenly.

Sean was slightly startled, then answered seriously, "Gaster, I am sincere to Jinjier. I will do my best to protect her and make her happy."

Gast was silent for a while. "I hope you remember what you said today. My sister is very simple. Once she decides on someone, she will be devoted to him/her wholeheartedly. I don't want her to get hurt."

"I understand." Sean said solemnly.

Gast nodded slightly, "I'm leaving now. I hope you can keep your word."

After saying that, Gast turned and left.

-----------------

On the other side, deep in the Stardew Mountains.

The vast army of white bones came like a tide, submerging the place.

Malone, a gray-haired man wearing an eye patch, stood side by side with a creature half the height of an adult. The creature was short but very strong, with thick hair like a dwarf.

"Marlon, I didn't expect Lasmodes to send you here. It seems that your Explorers Guild is really empty-handed." The creature spoke in a hoarse voice.

"You'd better take care of yourself. Tom, I haven't held you accountable for entering human society without permission last time." Malone shouted, with a hint of majesty in his eyes.

"I'm just giving them a warning. The noise caused by those little ants affects the direction of the earth veins." Tom raised his head slightly, with a hint of dissatisfaction in his tone.

Ma Long frowned: "No matter what, you can't break into human society without permission. This is the rule. You know the consequences of breaking the rules. Now let's solve the problem at hand."

Tom glanced at the vast army of bones and said, "These guys are like cockroaches. They are not easy to deal with."

"Stop talking nonsense and let's do it."

The two men rushed towards the army of bones at the same time.

Malone drew out his sword, and wherever the sword flashed, nothing existed; while Natom kept throwing out spherical explosives, fire burst out, and bones turned into ashes.

They fought their way through the army of bones until they reached the crack in the alien space.

Marlon and Tom looked at each other, and he thrust the sword into the ground. Light emanated from the sword, forming a huge magic circle that rose slowly and covered the crack.

Tom kept throwing bombs to clean up the remaining bones. After some effort, the space crack was finally completely sealed.

Malone and Thom breathed a sigh of relief.

"Your watch is still convenient. Where is the next crack? If so many cracks are not cleaned up, the tribe will not be able to live in peace." Tom muttered.

"Ten kilometers at seven o'clock." Ma Long looked at his watch.

After saying that, the two figures flashed and disappeared into the depths of the Stardew Mountains.
