Blending of Planes: I am leisurely farming
Chapter 134 Exploring the Second Alien Space
During Lewis's argument with Maurice, Sean made contact with the trapped Susan.
Susan told Sean not to worry about her, that she could be self-sufficient in daily necessities, and that she would have no problem with the fertilizer supply later on once she had finished the hanging basket.
Originally, Sean planned that if Lewis couldn't handle the matter, he would secretly use his earth control ability at night to try to see if he could clear a path out. He couldn't guarantee the success rate.
However, after realizing that no one was killed and it was not urgent, Sean decided not to join in the fun. He decided to leave the matter to Lewis to deal with it. When he really had no other options, he would come forward and try to solve the problem.
After cursing Joja for being a bad boy together with Susan, Sean left to do his own thing.
-----------------
The cold-resistant supplies, ice picks, and spiked boots were all ready. With a flash of white light, Sean disappeared from the spot and entered the second alien space.
Completely different from what I expected.
The scene of the extremely cold ice prison and the sky full of bones did not appear.
This is an endless and extremely cold snow-capped mountain plateau.
The entire sky seemed like a flowing curtain, foggy, gray and depressing.
Because there is no sun, instead there is a white light covering the sky. The sky is like a layer of cloth covering the light source. It penetrates from behind the sky and permeates the entire space, providing a mysterious and lasting lighting for this extremely cold snow-capped mountain plateau.
"Strange, what's the situation with the army of bones in those space cracks before?" Sean took out the goggles he had prepared in advance and put them on to prevent his eyes from being burned by the light from the snowfield.
"Could it be that this snow mountain is made up of bones?" Sean was shocked by his own guess. He quickly turned on his ability of perspective to check. Apart from the white snow, there was nothing abnormal with the rock layer.
In this snowy field, the knee-deep snow made it more physically demanding to pass through. Sean walked carefully to avoid slipping or falling into a snow pit.
Just like he did in the underground mine, every time he walked a certain distance, Sean would bend down, push away the snow, and bury bamboo strips in the soil underneath as road signs.
In this white world, the sense of direction becomes illusory, as if every step is repeating the trajectory of the previous step.
In the distance, there is a huge protruding rock wall standing quietly in the snow. Its surface is covered with ice and snow, revealing only a deep gray color.
Severe cold, white, loneliness, depression, vastness and monotony are the main themes of this space.
Time passed by minute by minute during Sean's arduous journey. There was silence all around him, with only the cold wind whistling in his ears.
I don't know how long I walked, but the huge rock wall in the distance came into view. Suddenly, there was a slight noise from the rock wall, and some small snow fell down the cracks of the protruding rocks.
Sean looked up alertly and saw four creatures like mountain goats standing on the rock wall that was almost 80 degrees away from the snow. They looked at Sean, the unknown intruder, quietly, with vigilant light flashing in their eyes.
Their fur is a transparent icy blue, as if made of ice crystals, and can change color under different light conditions.
The two antelope-like horns are extremely gorgeous, like carefully carved works of art. There is a faint light lingering on the tips of the horns, and they seem to be able to absorb the surrounding light energy.
These creatures leap lightly between the rock walls and the snow, leaving almost no trace. The moment their hooves touch the rocks, a thin layer of snow quickly melts to fix the hooves, allowing them to walk as if on flat ground.
Feeling the vigilance of the creature on the opposite side, Sean stopped and took out a flying axe and a giant shield from the space to confront it.
Just as he was about to open his mouth to try to communicate, the group of creatures suddenly attacked.
The leader let out a long roar towards the sky, and with a heavy stomp, he leaped up from the ten-meter-high rock wall.
After all four toes were fully stretched, the sheep turned its head downward and a shock wave appeared in front of its head.
It just fell from the sky and hit Sean.
Faced with the monster's attack, Sean wanted to test it out, so he raised his shield and went forward to meet the attack.
"Dang~" The huge impact force made Sean retreat backwards, leaving two long traces in the snow.
The attack failed, so the leading sheep stepped on the shield and landed lightly on the snow. It turned around with its front hooves and rushed towards Sean who was not yet stable with its hind hooves.
The sharp long horns shone coldly in the snow, as if they could pierce through the entire person.
Seeing this, Sean didn't dodge. He took a big step forward, his hips driving his waist, his shoulders driving the chains wrapped around his hands, and the huge axe in his hand suddenly came out.
The flying axe drew a graceful arc in the air and headed straight for the head of the leading creature. The leading creature did not show any weakness, it quickly adjusted its posture in the air and hit the flying axe with its sharp antelope horns.
"Dang!" A crisp sound of metal collision was heard, and the flying axe and antelope horn collided violently in the air, splashing up a cloud of snow.
The leading creature rolled several times in the air and landed steadily on the snow, with a more vigilant light flashing in its eyes.
I walked around Sean a few steps, looking for a flaw, but to no avail.
This mountain goat-like creature also gave up the one-on-one fight between leaders. With its goat beard fluttering, its hooves stomped heavily on the snow, and a ray of freezing light attacked Sean.
He dodged sideways, and while Sean was dodging, the leader and his younger brothers on the rock wall were accumulating energy and ready to go.
The tips of their antelope-like horns gathered together to create dazzling light, and beams of energy shot towards Sean like sharp arrows.
The dog rolled over like it was pouncing on its prey, and a bolt of energy grazed Sean's scalp and hit the snow behind him.
Rocks collapsed and the scorching energy turned the snow into steam and flew into the air. The snow was then attacked by the extreme cold and turned into tiny ice particles floating in the air.
Several more energy arrows followed above his head.
Sean waved the giant shield and used his earth control ability to add a layer of hard rock armor on the shield to resist this wave of attacks. The beam hit the shield, making a deafening sound.
The energy beam burned through the entire rock layer, and even the impact surface of the metal shield turned red. If a human body was hit by this, it would probably lose a part.
Unable to sit there and wait for death, Sean dodged the energy arrows and rushed all the way to the bottom of the rock wall.
The three mountain goats on the rock wall successfully came within his shooting range.
With full power turned on, the rock under the feet of the three mountain goats turned into a mud hand covering the sky and enveloped them.
The sudden change caught the ibex off guard. The two on the left and right jumped away, while the one in the middle was hesitant and was caught in the giant hand.
"Since you were the ones who launched the attack first, don't blame me for being rude." Sean clenched his hands, and the giant hands slowly closed.
Amid the ibex's heart-wrenching cries, the remaining three became visibly anxious.
Their hooves moved restlessly on the snow, their horns drooped, and the icy fur on their bodies shone with a rich white light.
With this attack, all the energy contained in their bodies exploded out through their ice-crystal-like fur. Countless fur turned into tiny energy needles, and each needle was like a compressed energy bomb. They attacked Sean like a rain of pear blossom needles.
Sean felt unprecedented pressure. He took a deep breath, concentrated his mind, maintained control of the giant hand with his left hand, and used his right hand to simultaneously use the ability to control water and soil.
Under his control, the surrounding soil drove the snowflakes to rise rapidly, forming a semicircular mound that tightly wrapped him.
At the same time, the water flow in the portable space condensed into a thick ice shell under his control, further strengthening the defense.
"Boom~" the earth shook and the snow on the rock wall was shaken down.
The energy needles hit the earth mounds and ice shells like dense raindrops, making continuous explosions. As the sound waves passed, everything was buried under the snowfield by the avalanche.
