HP: White Lord of Slytherin
Chapter 92 Neville escapes
On the first weekend of school, everyone was disappointed that they didn't receive any notification that they could go to Hogsmeade Village.
Gloria opened the renovated secret room. It was no longer an abandoned bathroom, but a gorgeously decorated empty room with a conspicuous pillar with a giant snake sculpture wrapped around it. The password to open it was changed from the simplest word "open" to a long snake language.
Once you're done, leave with Draco.
"Don't you need to go in?"
Draco and she walked by the Black Lake, and the wind was already cool.
"No need." Gloria shook her head. "The members can just get together on their own. As for the people who come in, they can identify whether they are club members or not."
Draco was stunned. "That's it?"
Gloria said, "Of course there's more. There are also books I picked out that you can read and study. However, they are enchanted with a high level of magic. If you quit the club, you will forget everything you've read."
The boy stood in front of her, the wind blowing through her hair, bringing his faint lime scent to her, "Don't we need to be there?"
Gloria brushed away her hair that was blocking her face, her eyes bright, "Do you want me to chat with them there, or date you here?"
Draco immediately smiled and hugged her, "Of course it's best to date me."
"Draco, I know what you mean, but I have a grand plan that will not involve any war, whether between Muggles or wizards. As for the choice of club members and what kind of resources they will get by following me in the future, I can't say it now, and the time to test them has not come yet, so let's put it aside for now."
The boy didn't ask what the plan was, "Whatever you want to do, I'm by your side, and the Malfoys will stand behind you."
Gloria's delicate nose touched his chin, and she said softly, "I know, and I won't let you down." This topic was not suitable to continue, so she continued, "Don't you think Professor Snape and Professor Lupin seem to know each other?"
"I see." Draco said lazily, "Maybe it's like me and Potter, we are sworn enemies in school."
In his first and second years, Snape looked at the professors of the Defense Against the Dark Arts class with mostly disdain. He did not look at Lupin with disdain but with hatred.
"That's right." Gloria felt that the atmosphere was right, as if the two of them were going to fight in the next second. It was most likely that Professor Snape would take the initiative to pinch Professor Lupin. "Professor Lupin didn't seem to be that calm."
At least the guidance given to Neville in the first class explained everything.
"No matter what, that fat boy should be very grateful to you." Draco said, "If he really listened to that poor professor, he would have a hard time in Potions class in the next few months. But why did he listen to you more?"
Gloria said, "Maybe I've done his family a great favor. Let's go - why not guess when we can go to Hogsmeade."
·
During this period, the Defense Against the Dark Arts class became the favorite class for many people, and Professor Lupin taught almost all practical classes.
Professor Snape was very unhappy. The news that Neville almost put his grandmother's clothes on Professor Snape had almost spread. For this reason, Neville kept wiping his sweat before the Potions class started.
"Look at Longbottom, it's like the rain in England these days is all over his face." Draco stared at Neville, who was looking uneasy behind him.
"I see." Gloria was amused by his analogy. "Professor Snape shouldn't make it too difficult for him since he didn't put the clothes on the Boggart after all."
Draco shrugged. "Who knows—"
Finally, the fatal school bell rang. Neville wanted to shrink under the table, and Harry and the others became nervous as well.
Professor Snape was particularly angry today, and the door slammed open with a loud bang, but the classroom was very quiet.
After coming in, he did not directly write down the potion that needed to be brewed as usual, but stood on the podium and looked around. However, he did not stare at Neville, but his target was Harry.
After staring silently for nearly a minute, when the Gryffindor student was about to gasp for breath, he mercifully wrote down the content of this lesson.
Everyone was quietly counting the potion ingredients. Draco poked Crabbe in front of him, who turned around and stuffed something into his hand. Gloria was checking the accuracy of the silver scale.
He found the right moment and threw the thing in his hand at Harry. The shriveled beetle hit his face and fell into the potion materials. Harry glared at Draco, and his vision was quickly blocked by darkness.
"Are the potion ingredients written on the blackboard not clear enough, Mr. Potter?" Professor Snape appeared quickly. "You mixed this kind of thing into the potion ingredients. Gryffindor will deduct five points for your carelessness."
Harry's chest heaved, and his breathing became heavier. "Malfoy threw it here!"
Gloria looked at the boy next to her, and indeed he had a smug look on his face, but Professor Snape had his back to them, blocking the view of Harry and the others.
She asked with her eyes, and Draco smiled wantonly, raising his eyebrows, waiting for the show.
Hearing Harry's accusation, Snape turned around, and Draco's expression changed instantly, showing innocence, "Professor Snape, I have been dealing with potion materials, I don't know what he is talking about."
His expression was innocent, but his tone contained a hint of provocation towards Harry.
Professor Snape naturally favored students from his own college. He turned around and said lightly, "For slandering a classmate, Potter will lose two more points."
He took the beetle and walked quickly to the podium.
Harry's eyes seemed to be spitting fire, and Ron held him back. Hermione was busy fighting the potion at the moment, and she tried to persuade him to calm down in between.
Harry soon realized that if he really made a scene, Gryffindor would only lose more points, so he suppressed his anger and started brewing the potion, but Professor Snape had no intention of letting him go.
"The membrane on the white of the hexafin's eye wasn't cleaned up enough!"
"The fire died down, and the ninth line on the blackboard was clearly written. Were your eyes thrown into the crucible along with it?"
Not only was Harry under great pressure from the criticism, but Ron also became flustered, to which Professor Snape kept sneering.
When the ordeal was over, the two of them unsurprisingly obtained a pot of failed potion.
Professor Snape seemed satisfied and did not deduct points, but at the end of the class, he assigned Harry and Ron double homework.
Gloria looked at Draco. He was indeed Professor Snape's favorite student. He could come up with a perfect excuse to find fault with anything thrown at him.
"Look at their faces." The boy was immersed in the joy of seeing Potter being humiliated. "I bet they won't be able to get through Potions class peacefully for a month."
Gloria started to pack up her books, "It feels like they want to beat you up now, let's go."
Draco gave the bag to Goyle, raised his eyebrows at Harry and Ron before leaving. Professor Snape was still there, so they had to keep silent for the time being.
Neville, who had brewed a barely passing potion today, was feeling lucky. If he hadn't listened to Gloria, he would have been scolded like Harry today, maybe even worse than Harry.
