HP: White Lord of Slytherin
Chapter 42 No One Will Spare a Human or a Ghost
"You released it yourself?" Pansy, who had been in a cold war with Draco for several days, didn't care that they hadn't reconciled yet.
"What's the big deal?" The young man opened his arms and said indifferently, "I summoned the poisonous snake and released it. It just gave Potter a good opportunity!"
The noble Master Malfoy came to his exclusive seat like a star surrounded by stars, and Gloria sat directly next to him.
"Potter is definitely not the heir of Slytherin!" Flint said fiercely, his protruding buck teeth making his expression even more distorted.
"Pseudo-Serpent can be learned. Potter must have learned it on purpose after knowing that the heir of Slytherin was in school." A student speculated.
Gloria remained silent. These people did not understand snake language and did not know that Harry and the black snake were actually communicating at that time.
"I think Draco and Albert are more likely to be the heirs of Slytherin than Potter." Crabbe sincerely believed so.
Then the students who were surrounding him began to ask about the release process. Draco boasted about how well behaved the black snake was in his hands, and how he stroked the black snake's scales and watched it disappear into the Forbidden Forest.
Suddenly everyone felt that Potter's ability to speak snake language was nothing special, as there were students in their academy who could make snakes obedient.
The Slytherin students, with their confidence greatly increased, suddenly had the confidence to refute other houses.
While most people's attention was on Draco, Zabini glanced at Gloria calmly, wondering if Albert was really her last name?
Gloria returned to the dormitory after chatting until late. Three snakes came out. Apophis exclaimed, "That kid can speak snake language and has the ability of Parseltongue, but it is very weak. He can only command ordinary snakes at most."
Hearing this, she was more certain that he was not a descendant of Slytherin. Gloria stretched her body and said, "But it was still shocking. I almost questioned him in snake language when I heard him communicate with snakes. Fortunately, I held back."
Gloria almost couldn't hold herself together at that time. She was more surprised than anyone else present.
"But it seems he wasn't the one who opened the Chamber of Secrets," said Gornia. "According to the situation, there are now three Parseltongues in Hogwarts."
The one who opened the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter, and the true Slytherin heir Gloria.
Gloria lay on the soft bed, and three snakes crawled to her side. "Harry will have a hard time in the future. If he hadn't been petrified, he would have been admired by many students."
Jörmungandr said, "Unless we find the one who opened the chamber."
"I don't want to think about it." Gloria closed her eyes in enjoyment. "You can restore your original form when you go back for Christmas. The portraits will definitely ask me a lot of questions. I have to find a way to squeeze out some time to write to Draco."
"Why don't you write a letter to the kid while you're chatting with them." Apophis thought his suggestion was good.
"That would... annoy me to death..." Gloria's consciousness gradually became blurred, and she fell asleep before she could wash or change her clothes.
The three snakes silently took off her outer robe and stuffed it into the quilt.

There was a heavy snowstorm the next day. The snow outside was even thicker. Large snowflakes kept falling from the leaden sky. Due to the weather, the daytime was still dim, and torches were lit everywhere in the castle.
The last Herbology class of the semester was cancelled. Not only was the weather making it difficult to get to the greenhouse, but Professor Sprout also had to personally put socks and scarves on each mandrake to prevent them from getting cold. Colin and Mrs. Norris were counting on them to save their lives.
As expected, Harry and his friends did not show up in the auditorium at breakfast time. The auditorium, which was usually bustling, was now filled with people speaking in low voices and the atmosphere was depressing.
"Have you heard that Potter is very likely the great-great-great-grandson of Salazar? No wonder he was able to defeat the You-Know-Who."
The Gryffindor students behind were gossiping about this matter, and Gloria couldn't help but think of Colin Creevey. If he were there, he would definitely chase Harry to take pictures and interview him.
Draco also heard that, his face turned very bad, and he turned around and stared at the backs of several first-year Gryffindors with a sinister look.
"Then why was he sorted into Gryffindor? He should..." As he said this, he turned around to look at the Slytherin behind him, and his eyes met Draco's. He was so scared that he turned back quickly and almost buried his head in the plate.
"He's not the heir of Slytherin—" Draco said with a sour face.
Everyone in Slytherin House now firmly believes this.
Gloria held his shoulders and said, "Let's skip the Herbology class and go sit in the library. It should be the quietest place in the school right now."
Harry's name could be heard everywhere in Hogwarts Castle today, and Draco would become irritable whenever he heard this name.
Draco nodded with a straight face, "Okay."
If there is loud talk in the library, Madam Pince will drive away the annoying voices.
When we arrived at the library, the fear on many people's faces had not yet faded.
"Potter came to find Finch-Fletchley on his own initiative. Fortunately, Ernie let him hide in the dormitory." The Hufflepuff student whispered.
"Is he really going to do something to a muggle-born wizard? Potter doesn't look that bad."
"Who knows." Ernie MacMillan's face was still pale. "Anyway, except during class time, never let Finch-Fletchley be alone."
"Look--" The girl with golden ponytail saw Gloria and Draco.
Suddenly, the buzz of discussion in the library became quieter. Not only were they afraid of Harry Potter's ability to speak Parseltongue, they were also a little afraid of Gloria who caught and saved the big black snake's life, not to mention that she was a Slytherin student.
"Let's go over there." Draco held Gloria's warm hand and walked to a corner with few people. "Potter's name is really haunting."
"They're just as afraid of me," Gloria whispered.
"I have every right to be afraid of you." Draco said arrogantly: "What is that Potter--"
"Just spend this morning quietly. Have you chosen your Christmas present? My owl will find you the night before Christmas. Just give the present to it. It's Amy."
Other people could use an ordinary owl as a gift, but Draco's gift had to be sent by Amy, whom he had raised himself.
Draco smiled and said, "Of course I have chosen it. It took me some time." He then curiously asked her, "Why do you need your owl to get it?"
"Have you forgotten? My manor has a very powerful protective magic, and I haven't fully mastered it yet."
The boy understood and stopped asking questions, thinking that other Slytherin students were not allowed to give Lori gifts.
Gloria also thought of this, "By the way, if anyone wants to give me a gift, let's give it up. A strange owl can't find my house."
Just as I was about to start studying, a sharp and piercing shout was heard in the library.
“Attack! Attack! Kill them all, human or ghost! Run for your lives! Attack!”
"That's Peeves' voice!" a student exclaimed.
Gloria didn't have a deep impression of this ghost. Because of the Bloody Baron, Peeves usually avoided Slytherin students, fearing that they would complain to the Bloody Baron.
Draco grabbed her wrist and ran out with the crowd.
The bad-tempered young master pushed aside the people blocking his way without hesitation and squeezed inside. Gloria saw Justin Finch-Fletchley lying on the ground, petrified, and Nick, who had lost his pearly white luster and was almost headless and floating in black smoke.
Many people were so frightened by this scene that they covered their mouths, and the look they gave Potter was no longer just a slight fear, but real fear.
Potter seemed to be frightened and was pushed against the wall by a group of people.
Not only the students but also the professors were attracted. They shouted and tried to maintain order. It was Professor McGonagall who waved her wand and made a loud noise.
"Quiet!"
At Professor McGonagall's shout, everyone quieted down, and the professor continued, "All students return to the classroom!"
