HP: White Lord of Slytherin

Chapter 357 No Longer Pure

This was the first time Malfoy Manor was so lively.

There are several tents put together in the large area in front of the manor. The space inside is very large and can accommodate thousands of people.

Dumbledore personally hosted the engagement party, and in the presence of everyone, Gloria and Draco put engagement rings on each other.

Sirius was the only one who felt emotional, and his applause was not as enthusiastic as others.

In addition to the teachers and students of Hogwarts, there were also many high-ranking officials of the Ministry of Magic and members of famous foreign wizarding families.

Reporters from the newspaper kept taking pictures on the scene, and they could get good interview content by just asking anyone a few questions.

Many wizards from foreign countries, seeing Gloria, raised their glasses tacitly.

The Weasley twins were like two bees in a bush, shuttling back and forth among the crowd, expanding their business of the trick house.

Draco was already a qualified heir, so he took over all the greetings on the field.

Gloria found Harry and the others. They were all wearing formal attire, with their partners, and drinking the fine wine carefully brewed by the elves.

"Does it taste good?" she asked.

Ron choked and quickly put down the cup. Lavender wiped the corner of his mouth considerately.

"We just tried a little wine, and it tasted a little sweet." Harry said uncertainly: "Isn't this the kind of wine they drink?"

The wine on the table was colorful, and they tried it out of curiosity.

"This is fruit wine, not too strong." Gloria took a glass for herself and drank it. "It tastes really good, it totally meets my standards."

"You look so beautiful today." Hermione praised, "Congratulations."

"Thank you." Gloria smiled and said, "Have you decided what kind of job you will do after graduation?"

"I don't need to say it," said Hermione. "The Ministry, without a doubt."

"Ron and I have been invited to the Auror's office by the Ministry of Magic," Harry said.

Of course such a person had to be invited to the Ministry of Magic, and Gloria was not surprised at all.

Ron quickly added: "We can become official Aurors directly without going through the internship period. Strong thinks we have the ability to do so."

Lavender looked at him with adoration.

"Although I haven't graduated yet, I have already thought about my future career." Ginny, who is about to be in her seventh year, is mature and beautiful. "Like Krum, I will become a Quidditch player."

Krum nodded and said, "Looks like I'll be able to see you on the court in a year."

"What about you?" Hermione asked. "Ministry of Magic, too?"

Gloria put the empty glass back on the table. "No, I have something else to do."

Ginny looked around and asked in a low voice, "Some reports say that Slytherin Manor is in the New World, Leah, is this... true?"

Gloria looked at them for several seconds, then said slowly: "It's true."

Harry and Ron didn't know what to say for a moment. If that was the case, it meant that Grindelwald was released by Gloria.

Harry remembered Dumbledore's conversation with him, in which he mentioned that Gloria would do something big, something unprecedented, something that would change the world.

When he was in sixth and seventh grade, he was focused on how to deal with Voldemort and didn't pay much attention to Grindelwald, who didn't provoke any battle.

After hearing those rumors after the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry immediately understood what Gloria would do.

Hermione clenched her glass, "Leah...will there be another war?"

"Wizards want to live in a new world that can be separated from Muggles, so why start a war?" Gloria said in a puzzled tone, "We don't need to fight for this world."

She continued, "But there is never a shortage of dark wizards in the wizarding world. Perhaps at some point there will be another one, a figure like Voldemort."

Gloria said this, but in her heart she thought that such a person could only come from the Slytherin family.

If it were in the past, Harry and the others would ask why they wanted to release Grindelwald and why they wanted to establish the Magical Alliance, causing unrest in the wizarding world again.

The war caused by Voldemort had just ended.

But they are adults and have experienced so much, so they can now think about many aspects of the problem.

There has never been a moment when I realized so clearly that Gloria was a typical Slytherin, except that she was not obsessed with dark magic and was not cruel.

But some characteristics have not changed, that is the basic color of the Slytherin family.

They couldn't say that it was bad to let wizards live in the New World; after all, that was true freedom.

It’s just that the current situation is definitely turbulent. This time it’s not a war that will kill people, but a change of power.

Krum learned some of the truth from Hermione, and he didn't object to it, but he had a grudge against Grindelwald.

"Wizards will have a better life in the New World if there aren't any wars."

He was not a wizard who believed in pure-blood supremacy, but he also felt that it was very depressing for wizards to live in this world. They always had to hide and avoid being discovered by Muggles.

"What about here?" Hermione grew up in this world, and she adapted well to both Muggle and wizard societies. "And there are children with magic in Muggle society."

Gloria patiently explained, "Don't worry, wizards in both worlds can come and go freely. They won't all be transferred to the new world. It's just that wizards have one more choice and don't have to hide in this world."

After this was said, they had nothing to say.

Gloria was quite comfortable. "Don't think badly of me. I really don't care about the bloodline issue." She looked at Hermione. "Whatever I said to you, it was all from the heart."

Perhaps after this meeting, their friendship will never be as pure as it was during their time at Hogwarts.

Of course, in Gloria's eyes, this friendship has never been pure.

She fought against the Death Eaters alongside the trio and defeated Voldemort alongside Harry, actions that earned her the reputation for justice she desired.

The Slytherin family is famous, and she must have such a reputation in order to make people accept the Magical Alliance more quickly.

"Regulus told me that he hopes wizards will no longer hide and use magic openly." Harry remembered these words, "Leah, I hope the new world will be a better place."

"Of course." At least for wizards, the new world itself is better than this world. Gloria knows this. "We will be very busy in the future, but when you get married, you must inform me. I will continue to invite you to my wedding next year."

They clinked their glasses again, their green student days were completely over, and they were all heading towards a bright future.

"You've just started drinking, two glasses are more than enough." Draco's gentle voice was close to his ear.

He took the wine glass from Gloria's hand, picked up the glass himself, nodded to a few people, and drank it in one gulp.

Ron shuddered. He was not used to Draco's tone of voice.

Compared to the others who had just entered adult society, Draco seemed so calm and elegant, a far cry from his temperament when they first met in the first grade.

After the conversation, Gloria and Draco went to find Sirius and the others, while Tonks and Lupin brought little Teddy to the engagement party.

The cute baby's hair changes color as his emotions change.
