HP: White Lord of Slytherin

Chapter 355 After the Great War

Everyone was shocked by the scene and speechless. After a brief silence, shouts, cheers, and roars rushed towards the two people at the center - Gloria and Harry - like a tidal wave.

Gloria buried herself in Draco's arms. She didn't know how to describe her feelings at the moment.

Her father's long-cherished wish was fulfilled, but Voldemort's last words also touched her.

He used snake language, and she was the only one on the field who understood it.

Gloria hoped deep down that the other party would repent, although the possibility was almost zero.

"It's over, Rory." Draco's words were close to his ears.

Sirius rushed over and hugged them both tightly, "Well done, Leah! You and Rael are both great!"

There were many people who wanted to hug Gloria, and the same was true for Harry.

One by one, the two of them comforted those who had participated in the war and appeased the families of the dead.

This duel, even surpassing the final battle between Dumbledore and Grindelwald in 1945, was known to wizards across the country in a short period of time and continued to spread abroad.

Gloria didn't expect that Hayden Strong, the Minister of Magic, also participated in the battle, but the scene was too chaotic and she didn't see him at all.

Krum learned about what was happening in Britain and secretly ran to Hogwarts during Voldemort's temporary truce.

Voldemort's body was carried to another room. Gloria asked to deal with the body herself, and no one in Hogwarts objected.

Mr. Filch got out his cleaning tools and began to clean up the mess, while Mrs. Norris sat obediently by his side.

Finally, unable to bear the gaze of the crowd, Gloria called on her good friends to leave.

"What are we going to do?" Hermione asked, holding Krum's hand tightly.

Gloria looked back and said, "First, hang the portraits of past principals back in the principal's office."

"I hope it doesn't collapse," laughed Ron, still holding Lavender's hand.

This girl who fought alongside him in the war and protected each other, they reconciled.

The students in the secret room had been released long ago, and now they were crowded in the auditorium to listen to everyone talk about every detail of the final battle.

They found the box containing the portraits, and the principal's portraits cheered in the box.

Arriving at the principal's office, I found that the gargoyle guarding the door had been knocked aside.

"Are you okay?" Gloria asked him.

"It's just so-so." The gargoyle snorted, "Do as you please."

Several people used magic to put the portraits back one by one, and the portraits reminded them of their correct positions.

After doing this, they simply sat on the ground.

"Draco, you also know that Dumbledore is not dead?" Ron's eyes were burning.

He remembered that when everyone was cheering, only Draco looked calm.

Draco nodded. "At first I really thought Dumbledore was dead, but then I went to Slytherin Manor and found out that he was recuperating there."

"Harry, how did you open the Golden Snitch?" Gloria didn't want to hear them ask Dumbledore how he recovered. It would be better to wait for the headmaster to tell them in person.

"When I knew I had to die, I told the Snitch I was going to die."

Harry was a little dazed when he said this again.

He continued, "I saw my parents, and after we talked, I went to see Voldemort."

Ginny squeezed his hand distressedly.

"Leah, have you been following him?" Hermione asked, "Why..."

She wanted to ask why they didn't stop it.

"Harry must be killed by Voldemort himself in order to eliminate the remaining soul in his body." Gloria said: "Harry is also one of the Horcruxes, created by Voldemort accidentally, and he didn't find it until his death."

Several people gasped.

"Yes, I saw what Headmaster Dumbledore said in Professor Snape's memory. I am one of the Horcruxes, so I cannot live, otherwise he would have a chance to be resurrected." Harry said: "When Voldemort took my blood to resurrect, he also gave me a chance to live."

Harry remembered what Regulus said, and said to Gloria: "By the way, after I was hit by the Killing Curse, I was probably in a half-dead state. I saw your father, and he talked to me a lot. He also asked me to bring a message to you, saying that he and your mother love you very much."

"I know." Gloria's eyes gradually moistened. "I got the Resurrection Stone you dropped. When Hagrid carried you back to Hogwarts, I also saw mom and dad. I am very satisfied."

Perhaps she will only summon it once in her life. It is not a good thing to often call back the ghosts from the world of the dead. Just look at the fate of the first owner.

Draco heard this and pulled her into his arms.

"He also said that he was proud to have Sirius as a brother." Harry smiled. "I didn't have the chance to tell Sirius, he must be very happy."

Gloria said, "Of course he will. I also have something to talk to him about. Let's meet later."

Draco also looked at her curiously.

"I've thought of a specific date for the engagement." She announced the bombshell, "We'll be officially engaged on my birthday."

Several girls covered their mouths.

Draco's arms around her trembled slightly, "July 7th, only left...we have to prepare quickly!"

"So fast?" Ron asked at an inopportune moment.

"This is a great day!" Draco said seriously, "Lori's eighteenth birthday."

After saying that, his expression changed and he put his cheek against Gloria's forehead.

Hermione looked at Krum. "Let's think of a good day, too."

This boy who is not good at sweet talk but treats her very seriously is worthy of entering into marriage with.

Krum, the normally serious international Quidditch superstar, now had red ears. "It's all up to you."

Seeing this, Lavender wrapped her arms tightly around Ron, "Ron, what about us?"

Hearing this name, several people lowered their heads and held back their laughter.

But Ron didn't feel embarrassed at all. "In this matter, your happiness is the most important thing." He copied Krum's answer.

Lavender was satisfied with this answer, she used to be jealous of Hermione's close relationship with Ron, but after all they had gone through, she no longer felt that way.

Gloria looked at Harry and asked, "How much memory did Professor Snape give you?"

"Uh..." Harry felt very embarrassed when he mentioned this. He didn't know how to face Professor Snape in the future. Fortunately, he was about to graduate. "It's about the fact that I have the remnant of Voldemort's soul in my body."

He didn't dare say that Snape loved his mother deeply, for fear that if the news got out, the other party would kill him with his eyes.

Seeing how affectionate he was, Gloria guessed that Snape probably thought she was about to die, so she gave him a lot of secret memories.

With a snap, Dobby showed up.

"Harry Potter, many people are looking for you and Miss Gloria, and Dumbledore also wants to talk to you."

Several people patted their buttocks and stood up.

Gloria glanced at the portrait of Phineas, and the man in the painting nodded at her with a relieved smile.

It’s finally over, and now it’s time to welcome their glorious moment.
