HP: White Lord of Slytherin

Chapter 309 Attend the Funeral

There is no doubt that Snape killed Dumbledore, as evidenced by the several Death Eaters who witnessed Dumbledore's death.

Lupin whispered: "Dumbledore trusted him so much..."

The sad elegy of the Phoenix was heard outside, and Gloria secretly sighed in her heart that even the Phoenix was pretending so well.

Everyone listened to the elegy quietly. Draco's hands were still shaking a little, and Gloria tried her best to warm him with her palms.

After an unknown amount of time, Sirius came in with Professor McGonagall, followed by several members of the Order of the Phoenix and Aurors.

"Molly and Arthur are on their way, and many others will come to school." Professor McGonagall, who was always tough, choked up a little.

"What's going on?" Sirius asked quickly, "Leah, I saw you chasing Snape and the others."

"Snape killed Headmaster Dumbledore." Harry said with hatred, "He killed the headmaster who always trusted him!"

Snape was responsible for the death of his parents and had killed Dumbledore himself.

"I knew he couldn't be trusted!" Sirius shouted as he helped Professor McGonagall sit down beside the bed. "What spy? He just wanted to get information about the Order of the Phoenix."

Professor McGonagall said weakly, "Because Dumbledore believed in him and said that Snape would help him when the time came, and the other professors would protect the students... No one expected that he would betray like that..."

"If I could get to the Astronomy Tower by then..." Harry muttered, "I should have gone."

Gloria looked up at him and said, "I can't let you go. Headmaster Dumbledore has repeatedly told me that I must ensure your safety."

She led Draco outside, "I'm not hurt, so I won't stay here."

Sirius tried to chase after him, but was stopped by Madam Pomfrey.

"Lori..." Draco still couldn't believe it, "Principal Dumbledore is dead. Will you be okay?"

Gloria didn't want to tell him the truth at school. "I'm fine now, don't think too much."

"What about Crabbe and Goyle?" he asked. "Will they be sent to Azkaban?"

Gloria shook her head. "I don't know. Dumbledore didn't tell me what he talked about with the Ministry of Magic. Maybe not."

With the help of the potion, Grindelwald's strength increased and the effect of the Transfiguration Charm was prolonged. However, there was a time limit. She had to maintain the effect of the Transfiguration Charm before Dumbledore was completely buried.

They came to where Dumbledore was laid, and he lay there as before, asleep.

Draco used to dislike this old man, but when he actually saw him die, he felt even more uneasy.

"Can we still be in seventh grade here?"

After Dumbledore's death, Hogwarts was no longer safe, and was even broken into by Death Eaters.

"The Ministry of Magic will hold a meeting with the school directors." Gloria said: "Even if the school continues, how many students are willing to continue studying here? But I will find a way to solve it."

In the UK, there are also young wizards from the Muggle world who need to understand and learn magic when they reach the age of eleven.

She looked at Draco and said, "I'm sorry I knocked you out before, but it was too dangerous outside. I was the one who petrified Harry and sent him to the classroom when he sneaked out."

Draco lowered his eyes and said, "So he said that."

"He will figure this out." Gloria didn't care about Harry's thoughts. "The news will get out tomorrow, and the school will be closed early. We will leave after attending the funeral."

As for where Dumbledore's body is buried, the Phoenix Fawkes is secretly keeping an eye on it.

In order to ensure that the news of Dumbledore's death was real enough, Grindelwald would have been casting Transfiguration spells for the next few months.

Gloria and Draco stood here for a long time. She cast a Transfiguration spell to maintain the effect before returning to the dormitory to rest.

The exams were cancelled and many parents came to the school to pick up their children, although some students insisted on attending the funeral.

Wizards from all over the country gathered in Hogsmeade to bid farewell to Dumbledore.

Ms. Maxime, who had been here to participate in the Triwizard Tournament, came, still riding in the carriage as big as a house.

Hagrid seemed to have made peace with her for the time being.

Gloria visited Dumbledore's 'corpse' every day, twice a day without fail.

She hadn't run into Harry in those days.

He had set aside a few days to spend time with Hermione and Krum.

Lavender always hugged Ron and cried. She did not leave school and chose to attend the funeral with Ron.

On the day of the funeral, many wizards came to the school, all of them were there to see Dumbledore off.

The atmosphere in the auditorium was particularly depressing, and many seats were left empty, just enough for the wizards who came from afar to sit down.

Surprisingly, everyone found that the Slytherin table was not so empty, and many students followed Gloria to stay.

Professor McGonagall stood up and announced that the funeral was about to begin. All the students followed the headmaster. On the Slytherin side, Professor Slughorn temporarily became the headmaster.

The fact that Snape killed Dumbledore has spread, and everyone has particularly complicated feelings towards the students of this college. Snape is a murderer, but Gloria actually chased down the Death Eaters and captured the four most important members of the group with her own hands.

The funeral was held by the Black Lake, where many chairs were placed and the students sat in the back rows.

Hagrid held Dumbledore's body, wrapped in purple velvet, and carefully placed it on the table.

Gloria then realized that his eyes were completely swollen, and she also saw for the first time his giant half-brother, Grawp.

Someone was speaking in the front, but the people in the back couldn't hear clearly, and low sobs spread.

A group of centaurs appeared at the edge of the Forbidden Forest, countless arrows flew into the sky, and the mermaids in the Black Lake sank to the bottom of the lake. Everyone stood up and paid their final tribute to the remains.

Draco asked, "Where will he be buried?"

Gloria shook her head, "I don't know. I should go back to Slytherin Manor after this is over. I have already entrusted Zabini and another girl to help us perform our duties as prefects."

She had to go back as soon as possible and remove the curse from Dumbledore.

“Leah.”

It was Harry. They hadn't seen or spoken to each other for several days.

"I'm really sorry. I was too impulsive before." His voice was full of apology. "We didn't expect it to end like that. You all said it was planned."

Harry saw Gloria visiting Dumbledore's body every day these days, and thought that the guilt in her heart must be deeper than his.

"I forgive you." Gloria said, "This is your last summer vacation. Go back and have a good rest."

"I'm going to look for the Hufflepuff Cup. You and Dumbledore have already destroyed four Horcruxes, so I should do something as well." Harry looked around. "Hogwarts may not be able to continue operating. I need to take the time to find the cup, and it would be best if I could kill the snake."

Gloria frowned. "Don't say such stupid things. I am still here at Hogwarts. The safety of the school can still be guaranteed. It will be more dangerous for you to be outside. I will pick you up in person on the first day of school."

Ginny held Harry's hand and said nothing.

Harry said: "But Dumbledore is dead, the war will start completely, and I must hurry to find the cup."

"We will face the war together." Sirius came from behind, obviously hearing their conversation, "Harry, you are not alone."
